This place was definitely not as small as I thought it would be when I first walked in. Multiple doors to walk through of a great selection of products (some of which I have never seen before!). The staff were so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I also loved having very small, cute and friendly doggy shopping companions. Out of over 10 tack stores I called, they were the only ones who had a GPA helmet in stock. And not only that, if the helmet didn’t fit, they were willing to size me so I could order a GPA online. They even had a cooler size for my large horse (84”). Best customer service I could have hoped for, I’ll be back.

The shop was over the top helpful. I had placed my order online and they took the time to send photos and help coordinate outfits and figure sizing and such. Then shipped my order the next morning. Wish I lived closer to go more. Thank you again Tack and Habit!

Finally, a local tack shop. For years we have been traveling to Dover Supply either in Charlottesville or Lexington, sometimes to the small one on the South side. Tara, the owner of Stonehouse Stables saw the need for a local store and built Tack and Habit new from the ground up. What we appreciate the most is the extra attention to detail given when buying inventory, it's only the best and exactly what my daughter needs. Highly recommended!

Beautiful farm and store. Wide selection of riding clothes for adults and kids. Great selection of tack and cleaning supplies. I highly recommend!
