I went here about 5 or 6 weeks ago, and I absolutely loved this store! My daughter and I enjoyed all of the holiday decorations, and we walked every inch of the store! Definitely will be back again soon, even though we live an hour away.

Note: this is located on the main road in what used to be a Walgreens not in in the little housing development.I went here opening day. This place is wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The store is laid out beautifully. It’s well lit and there’s so much to choose from. There’s cute displays everywhere showing off ways to incorporate what’s on the shelf into your home. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Essentially this is a different kind of five below and I love it. It’s worth a look to see what kind of goodies they have.

My elderly mother loved this store. We avoided the store it at first, because we thought it was yet another furniture store. We was definitely wrong! They had food, crafts, personal goods, and all kinds of stuff which was quite surprising. The only weird thing was self checkout only.

I love Popshelf. It's a great spot for gifts, home decor, and other odds and ends. Super happy it's here in Timberville!The staff is so friendly and helpful! I really appreciate how nice they are.As a florist, I can grab unique and trendy vases for almost wholesale prices.

My friend and I recently visited pOpshelf for some new apartment decor and we were not dissapointed. I would descibe this as a more mature Five Below. The prices are very reasonable and they even have quite a bit of name brand brands. The employees were so friendly and helpful, I would definitely visit again because of them.

I know this is just a fancy Dollar general but its nice, and it has stuff I use at a good price. These would do well in urban and suburban areas tgey would give five below a run for there money.

Imagine if Dollar Tree and the Target Dollar Spot had a baby and Dollar General was the daddy (which it is!). pOpshelf is great! It had a very upbeat vibe to it. The store was clean, organized and the displays were spot-on. The target demo is suburban girls and women with a decent amount of disposable income. The home decor items are super-cute, lots of name brand and seasonal items. Plenty of storage and organization pieces, bath, beauty, cleaning, pets, food, kitchen gear, crafts, garden, toys. The stationery and cards section looks high-end. A lot of items (ex: gift bags and party supplies) have the same price points as Dollar Tree. Most everything is $10 or less. Some of my favorite finds are the throw blankets, journals, candles, planters, dishes, pot holders, placemats, table runners and Girl Scout cookie dupes. The electronics and gadgets section was disappointing though. Pretty much all of my purchases either immediately broke (AirPod case, AirTag holder) or didn’t function (mousepad slipped all over my desk). They did, however, score points for having stick-on card holders for the back of my phone. Overall, know that when you go, pOPshelf is a *discount* store, you get what you pay for but it’s a fun shopping experience.

I have only had a chance to shop here once and it is a store that Dollar General is involved with and there are only 3 of these stores in Virginia but I am not sure that they will do as good as Dollar General Or Dollar Tree or Family Dollar Because they don't have as much of a variety as those stores do. I was told by an employee that the store started out in California and in Virginia they only have one in Timberville, Hampton, Virginia Beach, and Newport News. I guess we will see how it does in the future.

Nothing here that you can't get at Dollar G or Dollar Tree and in those stores you don't have the overwhelming "signature scent" that burned the back of my throat and then I had a headache and was hoarse after leaving! I will not be returning due to the awful smell!! This is in the Timberville store, not sure about other locations

Pop,Pop,Pop.....I thought we had something special. I have publicly proclaimed my love for you on social media more times than I care to count. Not to mention how I've literally gone to other STATES just to visit you. And now? You don't even open a store in Charlottesville? Roanoke? Blacksburg? How about Lynchburg? Or Richmond? No...I...I...don't even know what to say. I'm going to have to talk to my therapist and decide whether I can continue this relationship. I know growth can be scary,but we've been waiting for TWO years (sob). Say your expanding in Virginia and all is forgiven. Because as the saying goes, "Virginia is for LOVERS (of Pop Shelf)"
