Located just off the interstate which is the highlight to this quick stop. Be sure to pack your own cleaning supplies because that is not the best quality. There is something to say when it comes to having a safe place to rest. They need to have some TLC to be top notch.Rooms: Dated with a personal safe, refrigerator and microwave in the room. Two floors with no elevators. Outdoor pool not in service at this time.Food & drinks: Dairy Queen, McDonald’s, Subway, and a few restaurants are all in proximity. Several gas stations as well.

The rooms are nasty. Bed covers had pee stains.The walls have spills all over them ( god only knows what).The bathroom walls have yellow and black streaks all over it.What really tops it off- is bodily fluid stains ALL OVER the bed skirt and carpet.Don’t try to save money by staying here. Just go to the holiday inn across the parking lot.

Nasty!! Nasty!!! Semen on the sides of the beds, on the floor. Urine stains on the comforter. Rat traps in the room! Bathroom is just grundge, so gross. We got them to swap us rooms, second one wasn’t much better. Still had semen on the side of the bed and floor. We left because we just won’t stay in that and they wouldn’t even think about giving us a refund. And was confused when I told them it was just too nasty, and he even came to the room and saw the nasties. They don’t care and they don’t clean!! Don’t do it . I didn’t post a pic of the semen.

3 of 4 screws were missing on the door lock, the carpet was filthy,the plaster was falling from the ceiling and walls. The shower/ tub had black mold and rusty fixtures and the countertop/sink was falling off of the wall and had been recently caulked with white tub n tile caulk on a coffee colored counter. The TV worked and the king bed was comfy and clean.Rooms: Dated and in desperate need of skilled craftsman making repairs and upgrades.Safety: The metal edging on the concrete stairs was exposed and stretched away from the damaged concrete creating tripping hazardsFood & drinks: Continental breakfast was satisfactory.Noteworthy details: The king sized bed was comfortable and clean, the TV worked although the sleep timer on the remote did not function

Rooms are clean, thanks to the cleaning lady, she knows who she is. The owners charge outrageous amounts.; $15.00 per pet PER NIGHT! AND A $50 INCIDENT FEE! That's double charging for the same thing. They let people throw glass beer bottles everywhere, that I swept up so my dog wouldn't walk on it. There's bottles, caps, VOMIT, cigarette butts, trash all in the bushes- but yet, they give them their $50 incident fee back? That's crazy! There was a non working safe in my room, that they are required to refund a certain amount for since it wasn't needed or used, well, they didn't. Cigarette burns and stains all over the carpets. Keys NEVER work and about 2 hours before we left, they totally stopped working all together. They allow people to speed, drunk, out and in their parking lot. These people come back with cases of alcohol, party, loudly mind you, in the parking lot, and throw their bottles and trash everywhere. A lot of questionable people hanging out in the parking lot at night. Owners are money hungry, and do not care that they are part of Choice Hotels, and make My family not want to stay in them, if this is the way they allow the franchises to treat their customers. Especially a platinum member. Don't stay here. For a few dollars more, stay at the other three, nicer ones in Thornburg.

Room was very clean. Area was quiet. Water was really hot which is nice when you take a shower. Normally our luck we get barely warm water. My only complaint was the bed was hard. I loved the pillows however and wanted to take them home lol...They have also have a fee continental breakfast that was very good. Mostly carbohydrates but good. I would definitely recommend staying here.

DO NOT STAY HERE. ZERO STARS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Our neighbor had to help us open the door,bad locks. Bathroom door had hole in it. Bathroom hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. Couldn't take a shower after 11hrs of driving from Fl. Manager was rude and lazy. Pictures of this place are stock photos of Quality Inn. Not of what this Quality Inn looks like. Will be contacting to gwt money back.All booked through Expedia. Do not use them either. Useless! They send you to places like this or rental companies that are completely closed down. All while they take your credit card information.Noteworthy details: DO NOT STAY HERE! You're risking your health. If i could give Zero stars I would.

Most of the outlets do not work, beds are hard. Walls are paper thin and our neighbors were up until 1am talking loud. The guy running the front desk had some of the worst customer service skills. It was quiet and awkward, he kept looking at the other dudes phone. All the pictures are fake the rooms are patch jobs worse than rat hole apartments.I really wish I had stayed somewhere else..

This place is a 2 star rating and it should be 1 star. I paid $84 for a night. The room looked like they haven't used a vacuum or cleaned the carpet in years. The beds are full sized not queen and the linen was dirty with left over hair in it. Good thing I brought my own fleece. The bathroom toilet is OK but the tub is old and filthy. I couldn't even take a shower, just did a quick wash up because I didn't want to step foot in that bathtub. I'll never stay in this survival for one night motel room again.

My mother stayed here for emergency & room was okay but the bathroom was a mess. The shower had mold & mildew allll over it. Black slimy stuff along the clear caulking, yuck! These rooms are full of mold and are very dirty. The first unit we were in the toilet did not flush and the shower floor was so dirty. We requested another unit but the front desk associate wanted to see room first. He seen nothing wrong with the room but moved us per our request. The next room was slightly better but shower still had mold and TV did not work. Choice Hotels tried their best to assist us. Do not stay here!

This Quality Inn has gone downhill for a while. I have decided that I will no longer be staying here. The room was basically clean and neat, but the bathroom was falling apart. Pealing paint, poor repairs and a very slippery poorly designed tub (meaning dangerous) was the worst of it. Additionally, there were 2 cars with flat tires sitting in the parking lot that appear to have been there for a while.

There is no option for zero stars! (I stayed in this hotel the night of 7 June 2022)This was by far, absolutely the worst stay in a hotel... Ever! The rooms were filthy. I switched rooms when I checked in because the first one was bad but the second room may have been worse. There was old food on the couch (the first one had old food and mold on the couch). The bed appeared to have been slept in. The tub was filthy with old soap stains and the shower curtain was filthy. There were bugs and the carpet was stained and had debris on it. The coffee maker and TV were none functioning. The bed was absolutely uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping cross-ways with my feet hanging over the edge. I called the front desk to complain and in the morning I was offered a 20 Dollar discount. I have been using Choice Hotels for years and during that time Quality Inn has gotten worse every year. I will stay nearly anywhere before I stay at another Quality Inn and I may leave Choice Hotels all together. I have pictures to support my claims. DO NEVER EVER STAY at this hotel. Nasty! Nasty! Nasty! But there was a brand new toilet in the room. (This was the first negative review I ever left with a Choice Hotel, I am a business traveler and have hundreds of stays)

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would! The manager AK went above and beyond to be accommodating to my needs. My husband is a truck driver and we stay at many hotels while on the road. Quality inn at Thornburg is by far the nicest hotel with the best employees! I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this establishment if you are ever in the Thornburg, VA area. Thank you AK for making our stay amazing!

Tho the people who served us were very friendly and the morning coffee was good, I could not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the fact that it was not clean. The bathtub in the bathroom was awful and the lack of cleanliness made me uncomfortable to be there. Also the strong fragrance was overwhelming to the point of making me ill.

I stayed at the Quality inn with a 3year-old and a 3month-old. We spent a night safely and comfortably! It was a clean decent size room. It also came with a microwave!! This made me happy!!Downside was the A/C, it was noisy but I couldn’t turn it off... We all were very tired so we slept well even with the A/C sound.I only saw one staff member, he was friendly and nice!

I’m a local. I tried to book a room for a few nights, because my house is being renovated. I could not book a room because they have a policy against renting to locals within a 50 mile radius . This is absolutely bulls*it. Great place if you want to be discriminated against!
