Its a little out of the way for me, I pass 4 other grocery stores to get to Food Lion. They have a great selection and great prices. Bakery goods are fresh every day.

Called to ask them some questions about their western union, was transfered to a manager, who didn't even listen to what I was asking, and hung up on me. I work with for a company who also works with western union, and was trying to help a customer with a location there. We needed to know the stores limit. This isn't private. It doesn't go against western unions rules. The manager needs to learn how to deal with customers. How do you get business if you hang up on people asking questions? State to state transfers are hard enough without dealing with rude staff!!

This store is always clean and the staff is helpful. There's always two or more lines open. The management staffs more people during the busy times that customers will be shopping and that's extremely helpful when keeping the shelves stocked. I have been shopping at this location for seven years now and I've never seen an employee just standing around.

It has basically all you need, I mainly went to this place to find a gift card, to my delightful surprise they had a wonderful selection of gift cards, this food lion is the best location to get them in the entire place

The casher that was very pleasant . I was $12.00 short to pay for my groceries.He never was upset with me.He paid the $12.00 that I will make sure he gets it backWhen I get paid the 3rd of the month.You do not people that is that caring..This is one of the reason that I no longer shop at Food City.You have great prices you do not press gouge your customers like they do at Food City and you've got great customer care everyone that works at your store thank you Food Lion for caring enough about the poor people may God always bless you your company and your employees thank you again and God bless you

I love shopping at food lion, but you do gotta watch the prices because you can get somethings cheaper at other stores. But everyone here has always been friendly and helpful, and sometimes that's worth the price difference.

Just the best. My daughter and I went in there doing our 1st of many "weekly" shopping and the great people literally fell over themselves helping us find things. The head butcher was exceptionally helpful as I was used to getting certain things back in CT and looking to now see if the same are avail or if has better alternatives. He must have spent a good 10+minutes with us alone.

A very good place to shop, variety of things to get. Extremely nice and friendly staff, even help you find things if you're having trouble. Don't waste your time at the other grocery store, they have a very rude cashier there that belittles mentally challenged people.

This store constantly forgets to hand me a bag with items in it after ringing me up, so every time I get home I’m like where the cheese at. I asked for the receipt and he said it was in the bag…but no receipt, so no cheese.

From a Vendor perspective I don't recommend anyone to shop or work this store. The Management is a joke and treats their own workers and vendors like trash. The Floor workers (Truck Workers) seem to be nice and the store looks nice at most times but due to Management I can't recommend this store. In my opinion I'd say shop at Food City or Walmart for Quality. The main Manager Todd seems to my knowledge to be the worst one, I've ever only heard him talk bad to people or get others to do his dirty work. Me and my family won't be shopping here anymore and I've recommended my family To Food City so I hope this review is helpful and causes some changes to Tazwell Food Lion

Where my family does most of our grocery shopping prices are a bit higher than other places in our area and the meat doesn't seem to be as fresh and purchasing it else where but over all not a bad place to shop

Lots of renovations going on here since the last time I was in town. I believe it will be very nice once everything is completed. They always have a super friendly and very helpful staff on duty.Lots of changes and many items have been relocated so you may have to take time to find what you are looking for here.
