Worse hotel ever. I would never ever ever recommend this place to anyone. It is a Crack house/flop house. When I arrived late as other hotels were booked on my business trip. The room had no toilet seat and the ceiling had dirty spots. The AC/ heater did not work properly and the manager who did not care said it wouod be booked if I left. That was his response. Sickening. DO NOT STAY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Disgusting! BELIEVE the reviews!!!! I wish I had read the reviews. Cockroaches, moldy floor under fridge causing a terrible smell, broken toilet seat, tv only displays in purple and white. Complained to whoever was on the desk, said”well we fumigate every week” great!! Was offered to change rooms to another cockroach infested room ( the whole place is infested, what good would that do?? I said”that wouldn’t do any good and asked who was going to pay to have my house fumigated when I bring these +%# cockroaches home?!!! No reply. He even questioned why I didn’t come on the day before…No apologies offered!! we saw the cockroach at 1am. I now have to wait for the manager to call. Travelled from Canada for this! I am beyond furious! AVOID at all costs. I will update if/when I ever hear back from the manger. Photos included!

Hotel is extremely dated. The carpets are old and smelly. Plumbing fixtures show that the bare amount of money is spent on repairs. Parking lot is poorly lit, with multiple lights that are inoperable. The hot water is not hot enough to get a comfortable shower. This is just another poorly ran properly by cheap owners that are not worthy of having a franchise.

Checked in at about 2:45 was given a room on first floor. I was assured that it was a non smoking room. I get severe headaches from cigarette smoke smell . I walked in and immediately smelled 🚬 smoke. To confirm there were cigarette burn holes in bedspread. Tried to turn t.v. on and did not work. Complained to office was moved to second floor which was 2 beds . Even though traveling alone no big deal. No couch just 2 chairs .o.k. only 1 night. Noticed that the rack that you hang your clothes on was hanging half off of wall contacted front desk to let them know. At 10 pm when I pulled back bedspread there was nothing but a flat sheet. Not feeling like this was normal , I pulled back the other bedspread and there was a blanket and a sheet 🤔 . This will be the last Days inn that I stay inn . Pun intended.

This just got to be The worst Days Inn I have ever seen. May be it's the location but no it couldn't be because other places in the area are nice. I check in after 8pm in a Saturday. First of all, the person that checked me in was slow. I dunno if he was upset I was interrupting his eating or watching/ listening to something but he didn't seem to care. When he gave me my keys he didn't bother to tell where the room was in this 2 story building. The door to the inside of the second floor had a sign posted that said it was to be locked at all times but no the door was propped open, so I closed it as in entered. That didn't matter it was unlocked. The second floor was sketchy and darkly lit. I opened the door to the room smelled funny. After seeing everything else in the place I didn't want to make the mistake of setting my luggage in a place riddled with bed bugs so turned the light on to the room and then immediately set my cooler in the bathroom. Turned the lights on in there and happened to look up. There was black mold and things growing out of the ceiling. Had to nope out of there. The room was much better, stuff in the walls (maybe blood and mold or I don't know what else) Went back downstairs, to leave. Was told I would probably be given a refund, but I had to call corporate to make sure. Great! another inconvenience. I have attached pictures of the bathroom

My expectations for our stay here were not set very high. This isn't a Marriott or Hilton so there were gonna be some little imperfections about our room. The room was "okay" for the one night we stayed but would stay for much longer than that (not that anyone would since Tappahannock isn't really known for touristy type of things). The sheets appeared to be clean and the room amenities were good. I don't feel as this room deserves the $70/night price tag. There was a dirty rag left in the bathroom and we also found some lost clothing behind the TV when looking for an outlet to charge our electronics. I quit smoking about 15 years ago and I could tell that this room at some point in the recent past, was used for smoking residents. I do enjoy that they allow family pets but the fee of $15/pet is a bit steep. The receptionist was amazing. She was very polite and accommodating. Overall, there is potential there to make this Days Inn worth the $70/night price tag... it's just not there yet.

Hotel is run down. It needs to be renovated badly. They don't clean the rooms, I had to go to front desk numerous times & get my own towels. Dude at the front desk was rude, ignorant & very nasty. The person who works at night sleeps all night & is very rude also. The wall sockets in my room didn't work. I had to buy an extension cord to plug up and charge my devices.

Was given a smoke filled room. Front desk pretty much non existent with staff. Let them know I couldn’t stay here for a week by calling Wyndham customer care. They took care of canceling the reservation and I stayed in my car. Then the hotel still charged me. Was on the phone two hours trying to get it sorted out. No one answers the phone at this local hotel. Just beware.
