I have to say I don’t entirely blame the employees for the pharmacy being not so great but you are always gonna have a wait coming in here to get a refill. Even when I came here a few weeks ago for a pick up and I was the only one at the counter, nobody was there. I had multiple people see me from the back area and pay me no mind. I must have waited for 15 minutes before some came up to ask if I had been helped. I only keep coming here because it’s very convenient from my house but they have try and do better with customer service.

Im being generous with this review because the front of store is well kept and stocked. However THE PHARMACY IS HORRIBLE. I called to get a transfer on my refill at 9 am.(It was orig. filled at hospital pharmacy) Called to see of it was ready around 330, NO ANSWER. Went in to pick up script and after waiting in a long line about 9 people ahead of me, guess what it wasn't ready, hadn't even been worked on. They said it would be a 20 min wait as it was there but pharmacist was working on it. Turns out the transfer had just been requested because the transferring hospital pharmacy called to let me know and counsel me on the script because they couldn't even reach the pharmacist.Took almost an hour after I was told 20 mins. After 14 years its gone downhill so bad and I will be changing pharmacies!!

One star is generous! First time using this pharmacy, and I should’ve know by the reviews to steer clear, however, hands-down worst pharmacy I’ve ever utilized. Muhammad, however you spell it is ruining it for the few workers that kinda care. Switching pharmacies immediately! 3-15-2024@6:00pm

I just saw a young man being accused of stealing. Staff was downright unprofessional esp for dealing with (what looked like) a young teen. I overhear them as I’m checking out that they viewed the tapes and he was good to go. My issue with this is the way they handled this kid. By all means protect your products but at least apologize for accusing someone of stealing. That said, your customer service was/still is already lacking and now this? Do better.

Terrible customer service. Gentleman said he was going to help a lady with processing her prescription and left out on break without getting someone else to assist her on not paying her $10 fee covered she hasn't paid in 20 years. Then the other new employee was very rude to her. And the customer finally says it's been two days without my antibiotics I'll just pay. Then the new employee says " Oh now you want to pay"? I was in disbelief of the disrespect. 10 cars in drive thru ten people upset in lobby. I work in corporate it's unacceptable. Pharmacy technician work slow the phone hasn't rung in months. Please management help then. Transferring pharmacies right away.

Friendly staff, nice facility. The problem lies in the fact they can't even get close on a wait time estimate. For example" wait time is about 30 minutes". An hour later and you approach the counter and they ask "so you've been waiting?". "YES! I've been waiting, we talked about this"

The Rite Aid 515 N Main St is the worse pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They send you a text say prescriptions ready you get there and still not ready. You go in store they have 6 people back there and only 1 person on the register. They just so MESSY and SLOW! Every time Lambert or whatever his name is fills my meds he charge a price and I don’t pay for my meds so I don’t know what insurance information he be running. Like today 10/10/2023 I have been calling there since 12:30pm and it’s 2:36pm and nobody has answered the phone yet!!! If I could get them SHUT DOWN I would!!!!

Visited the pharmacy on 03/02/2024. The wait time was short and the staff were very friendly. Wait time plus checkout time was less than 7 minutes.

I've been trying to call the pharmacy for over a week regarding a transfer of my dogs cancer medication and they don't even answer the phone. It rings and rings and goes to a full voice-mail or reroutes me back to the main menu. How does this place even run??

I agree with some other posts that I've read. I've been coming to this store since I moved to Suffolk , 8 years ago. This Rite Aid was well run, and the employees were friendly etc. Over the years, it has gone downhill. My primary complaint is that the pharmacy is super slow! Your prescriptions are always late, the lines are long, the drive through is slow, and the employees are "okay". They used to text or call when your prescriptions were ready for pickup. They no longer do this for some reason. I've never seen a pharmacy so slow , as if they are perpetually understaffed. But, it doesn't look like they are understaffed. It looks like they have a high turnover and untrained people. I've taken my business elsewhere.

After spending half of the day at the hospital with a sick child. Went to THREE different pharmacy trying to get medicine filled. I went to Rite Aid on Main Street. Never again. I got there at 8:20 pm. I told them I needed it back tonight. I went through the drive through at 8:40. The young man told me it wasn't ready in come back in 10 minutes. I did that. Get back in line, drive thru of course and just for them to tell me they are closed and they didn't even work on the prescription.They wasted my time and most important LIE to me. The other man acted so nonchalant about how upset I was and I needed the medicine.Never go to Rite Aid on Main Street.Horrible service and lies. At the end who suffer my child and by the way they wouldn't give me back my prescriptions to try and go somewhere else . 0 stars is what needed.Sign unhappy and not a future customer!!!

This store never answer the phone you have to drive all the way to the store only to find out the they don't have your Prescriptions ready than they want you to drive back around and get back in line and wait another hour to get your Prescriptions I'm definitely going to change my My pharmacy . My time is important too. I have used Rite aid Pharmacy for years but this is just unacceptable.

I have been using this pharmacy for over 10 years, but the past couple years it has really gone down hill. Nobody ever answers the phone for questions about prescriptions and the mailbox for messages is always full. It is a good drive for me to just “ride up” there and I don’t have time to make that trip for a question. The only plus to this pharmacy is Luke who has helped me a lot since decline of this pharmacy. When the pharmacy was ran by Vick everything was smooth, but now I think I’ll be looking for another pharmacy because this is ridiculous.

Closing pharmacy staff spoke to me like a dog. I was in er all day with a sick infant and came 2 minutes passed 9 pm. They were so rude I can’t imagine this pharmacy being open much longer under the current management. It’s so god awful . I’ll be contacting corporate. I will also be switching pharmacies. All the reviews are so right about how awful this store is! Even being understaffed, there’s a way you should talk to and treat people , especially the customers! This rite aid treats their patrons like dogs! Never ever again !

Waited in 1 hour in line at the pharmacy only to have to wait another 20 while they actually filled the prescription. Will never go back ever again after the way I was treated you lost a 20 year customer today. There were only 4 people in line

I can't imagine giving them a star at all but have to in order to post. Every time I come here the script is never ready when ordered days prior. I waited today for 30 min. for them to open (930). Then I was told they would need 15 MIN. because it wasn't ready and was told I had to circle to back of the line which was 5 cars deep due to their lack of preparation. I will never go here again. Thank you Rite Aid for making me a lifetime Walgreens customer.

Type 1 diabetic for 23 years here. I came into this store because it was the latest pharmacy open. My insulin pump was malfunctioning and I needed insulin syringes for manual injections. I asked the pharmacy for them, they said they could not sell them unless I had an insulin prescription. I showed the pharmacy worker my insulin pump and the blood glucose test strips I was also buying from them. They saw this and said “they were probably out” without even looking.Look, I get that it is “at their discretion” but, this is life or death for people like me.This has happened once before at this store (thankfully not an emergency) and also at another store (emergency). Both managers told me that “having an insulin prescription there is not a policy” after the fact.

Called pharmacy to verify readiness of prescription at approximately 710pm; she verified it was ready. I arrived to pharmacy about 745pm and was told that it wasn’t ready—would be 30”—because pharmacist was in a mtg. I said I was told it was ready . He spoke to some one and said it would be 5”. I waited. Addressed him 2x…not ready. Pharmacist was at dinner. This is ridiculous. I left my spouse to quickly p/u prescription…..not acceptable. Don’t lie to the client. This needs to be addressed.

Used to be a great well-ran place but now the pharmacy has went downhill. The doctor sent my prescription in and I waited 4 hours for it to be ready. Which is just what you want to do when you're not feeling well. I get in line for 18 minutes it's not even ready even though I called and it said it was ready.This is not the first time of bad service there. The bad thing is you wait in line so long to get a prescription through the drive-thru. Plus they are no longer open 24 hours. It's time to change.

My daughter has been waiting for her prescription I was only given 3 pills and the rest was supposed to be ready that Thursday. Well this is Saturday and I am waiting for the rest. Every time a prescription gets sent over I have to wait like it was never sent there. I will be checking into getting my kids Meds sent somewhere else.

This Rite Aid always has what I need in stock and is always clean and uncluttered. The employees are friendly and always ready to help if needed. They are drama-free with coupons and the hours are perfect. Thanks again!

I have been trying to call in a script as well as update some info for one of my patients for two days. Their lines just ring and then send you to a voicemail that is full. Their provider line voicemail is also full. No one has hours to spend trying to get in contact with a pharmacy.

Tried to refuse my scheduled appointment for a COVID test that I needed for upcoming surgery. The associate at the drive thru window just kept saying "No". Not "sorry, I can't find your appointment", just "No" over and over, more adamantly each time. When I asked for a reason, I was told "I just don't want to do it."Finally somebody else came over to the window and gave me the test. As long as it takes to get an appointment for anything in this area, just going somewhere else wasn't really an option because I wouldn't have been able to get another test appointment before my surgery date and would have had to reschedule that for who knows when. Just because somebody at Rite Aid doesn't feel like dropping the test kit in the drawer? The VDH should never have delegated this responsibility to retail pharmacies.

I love 515 N. Main St pharmacy Rite Aid In Suffolk. Staff is friendly, store is always clean and well stocked. I no longer live in Suffolk but I drive 1hour just to come back to this location. There are 5 Rite Aids closer to where I live but this location is special to me.

If zero stars was available that would be the perfect score. The pharmacy department is completely incapable of basic prescriptions and rude, ignores guests and charge for things covered by insurance that have to end up being disputed with the insurance company to get things corrected. The fact that we have gone to different locations with no issues and everytime I come this location it's always something.

Took my prescription to the store associate Kaitlin very unfriendly I sat a hour waiting on my medication, Will be transferring my prescriptions to Walgreens not enough staff to help a least 8 people in line two not including myself have been waiting anywhere from 45 min to a hour. Horrible service

After being a Customer at this pharmacy for awhile, I never thought this pharmacy could be so disorganized, unprofessional, and down right awful.I am definitely changing pharmacies and will not be returning to this Rite-Aid pharmacy on North Main St.

Just my personal experience, i called 7 times to ask if my meds are ready but no one was answering the phone. so i drove there and saw everyone just standing and laughing around. some black dude even said that its a lazy day as l was approaching the counter..
