Suffolk finally has a superior grocery store on Godwin Blvd. The desserts in the bakery look delicious. It’s nice they have some smaller portions for 2 people.They offer fresh made subs at the deli. The produce looks great. There is a nice seafood section.Of course the store is new and immaculate and the employees are friendly.When driving in from the interstate be sure to turn at the light before kings fork road for easy access.

I was very dissatisfied with the deli in this Publix, for starters it was disgusting. There was pieces of chicken in the lettuce and crumbs of chicken all over the containers of meat which is usually stored under the counter in fridges. The tops where they prepare your sub is dirty and unsanitary. On the topping side there is mayo mixed in with the pickles and other toppings spilled into other containers. They ran out of white bread and only had mixed grain bread, I was told they had no red wine vinegar not even the packets but a separate employee was able to find a box of the packets. They were completely out of chicken so no chicken tender sub :(. I was born and raised in Florida so when I found out that one opened up 20 minutes away from my house I was excited to have a taste of home. This deli is not up to the Publix standards at all, service is also very slow and can potentially cause issues due to cross contamination. If you’re like me and was looking forward to a pub sub like how you would get in Florida don’t have your hopes up you’ll be quickly disappointed. I really hope that this deli is only in this condition because it’s only been open for a couple months and they eventually get it together.

A great place for your grocery needs. The store offers a wide selection of brand names and items throughout its store. The thing to look out for is its deli areas that make made-to-order submarine sandwiches as well fried chicken and associated items. They also have a freshly made sushi station in their seafood area as well as grab-and-go sections and even a cafe area. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.

Very pleased with this establishment here. I was there for the grand opening and I must say what a beautiful store, and staff were on point. Prices are pricey though for some that like to budget shop such as myself lol. They do have bogos and good quality meats. I just order a custom made cake but won’t be able to review that until later. Buffalo Chicken Tender Sub for the win. I just wish their oven was working on the first day so I could had my sandwich toasted. All good, it didn’t take away from the 5 stars.

The Planters Station store is brand new, clean, and, like all Publix stores, offers a great merchandise selection. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's our favorite grocery shopping experience.

Just be careful a lot of the produce was bad and look at the expiration dates carefully as this OJ was well past expired. We bought a fruit bowl and the fruit had a strong vinegar taste because it had gone bad. Definitely disappointing for a Publix.

I went there March 20 2024... Didn't like it..I went to check out the Meat section...I almost fell over when I Saw Chicken Priced as High As the Beef prices....I was like what the H E double hockey sticks... I walked out.... Then I went on down route 10 To ....Mike's Meat Market....10 times fresher.. Plus a hell of a lot fresher...On all the Meats..Stop at Mike's Fill your freezer up..

Great selection in a pristine shopping environment. A wide array of choices that run from bargain store brands to very high-end (expensive) brands. I was very pleasantly surprised by the variety of foods throughout. The deli and prepared foods are very good and are generally a very good value.Try their chicken tender sub. It's delicious.

Super clean and organized. All the products get fronted and turned, which is an OCDers dream come true.Pricing is higher than elsewhere, not going to even pretend it's not. But, most of the quality is there where others stores lack, like produce.Staff is always friendly, and they have them working all over the store. There's no empty spots.

The store was clean and over priced, with some good deals available depending on what you are shopping for. We drove 25 minutes to get chicken around 1:30pm assuming that peak lunch time was the best time to get food…wrong. I asked for a ten piece wing and 2 breast. The lady behind the counter was set on getting me to buy a mix 8 piece.(which I don’t eat dark meat) There was no original chicken on display so she told me that they couldn’t drop just 10 wings. While I’m assuming it’s peak lunch time, why aren’t they dropping chicken anyway? Oh because they have online orders to fulfill first as I was told. So disregard these people standing in line inside their store? Cool we wait for like 30mins for 10 wings and 2 breast. Here’s the kicker…once we get home and finally look inside the box, they gave me 2 thighs(which I don’t eat dark meat). Yeah never going back to this Publix ever again. This is an horrible example of the standard of most Publix I’ve been visited in the past.

Being a new store, it's clean, organized and staff is super friendly and eager to help. I am a little disappointed with prices as items are higher there vs. my regular grocery store in the neighboring town. The available selection of products makes one feel like you're in a variety store instead of a grocery store. The cut fruit is yummy, fresh and over priced. The bakery was wonderful the first cake I purchased when the store first opened, the second cake was not as good. The icing was not the same and a little on the wet side. Great atmosphere, clean, accommodating employees, huge selection but again, I had hoped being a large chain, the prices would have been much better. I won't be driving to Publix for my regular grocery store needs.

The store is clean and the staff are friendly. They carry a variety of upscale products. The bakery area is full of fresh items, and one of my favorites they make are yoyo cookies. Their fried chicken is good, and they make fresh subs while you wait.

This was our first shopping experience here....and will probably be the last. One concern is not that of the store, however, there were so many people. People are just plan rude. Very much self-absored to the world around them. But, I was ordering from the deli and flies landed on my freshly sliced meat. I refused it. The prices are considerably higher than other stores. The self-out area is extremely small. My husband and I divided up the groceries into two transactions just to get through it. Just not my kind of place....

I love Publix! I was excited to try this store out. Shanieta was a big help and she moved the line quickly with a smile. It may sound strange, but I only want her to make my sub sandwiches. I have been to Publix 4 times since the store opened up and she made my sub twice with love and the other two times that she didn't make them was not made with Love. If you think that I'm playing go for a Philly steak and watch how the other employees don't chop the vegetables up to have cooked into your Philly. It's always the small things to bring a customer back. I heard her tell an employee that she makes every customer sub the same way she would make her and that says a lot. Keep up the good work and you need more deli workers with the same mind set.

Soooooo clean and shiny, love that they have opened! Everyone is so helpful and friendly! UPDATE 5/1 to say I wish the deli would get their act together, constantly no or wrong items from ordering ahead (even 2-3 hours and it's still not ready!). This is one of the main reasons we shop here and it's super disappointing!!

Your employees and staff are really nice and very helpful. You store is clean, and offers a good variety of food. But...Fruit and produce are more than lacking. Fruit looks good on the outside but when it comes time to eat them, taste worse than a sheet of notebook paper. I've given so many chances on your fruit and pay more for the better fruit. Oranges, apples, grapes, pears, nectarines, blueberries, grapefruit etc. doesn't matter what I buy, it's always bland.Also, the aisles are super narrow and I have nearly collided with people turning corners getting out of aisles. Blind spots everywhere. No room. Makes for a less than perfect shopping experience.Giving you two stars because at least the staff is nice.

It's all about the customer service and baked goods! Both of them are A+ 🌻 I ordered sandwiches which were a good price for a tasty dish! Also got sub rolls and sweets both of which were really good. Can't wait to get a closer store.

Just a grocery store with a little different selection. It is nice to be able to get prepared food inside and you can't beat 5 dollar sushi. Very busy place. Clean and neat but, still just a grocery store.

That sheet cake was HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And delicious! It was so professionally made and decorated as if it came from an actual private bakery! Everyone at my mother’s birthday party was saying they never seen a cake that big and mind you my mother turned 75 !!!! I am just soo thankful! That cake showed up and showed out you hear me! I’m just so appreciative of their service they provided and I’m so glad I choose them ! If anyone needs a cake I definitely recommend them because they will not disappoint!

My post is for the women who trash the bathroom at Publix. So you were raised to be slobs, but you don't have to show that when you go out into the world. If you have not been brought up any better than low count, at least have some respect and stop making people clean up after your sloppy, disrespectful ___. Do better for your own children! Very bad look.Other than that, I love having this store as an option. I really love the grab and go Italian subs, the roll is delicious, the meats so tasty, but had no tomato and onion included. I just take it home and dress it up, but I feel those items should be included.

We used Publix Bakery for our wedding cake in 2/10/24. The process was very easy! Their cake tasting was top tier! We were not serving cake. We just wanted a plain white cake to cut for pictures. Thank you so much!

I've been missing the Publix subs when I wasn't in FL. I'm happy to have them locally now. Also, they have Heavenly Hash ice cream, which is hard to find elsewhere. If only they had Gluten-free Digiorno pizza, it'd be one-stop grocery shopping.

It's a very nice store of course. You have to shop wisely if your on a budget. The meat department looked good the 1st week. Now it's just normal. The bakery is the 💣I will be an occasional visitor. And I will only shop a sale.

Expensive. I used to work for Publix 24 years ago. Now we took a walk to Publix. Like the new layout. Like the hot guy at the entrance customer service. It seems as if Publix is a high-end grocery. Competition with Wegmans. Love the full selection of food.Very friendly employee.

The deli counter and sub/sandwich counter are so bad. Nothing is labeled so you have no idea what you’re looking at. The menus on the wall are so small no one can read them. But that doesn’t matter because if you order a sub no one knows how to make it so you shouldn’t get caught up in how the menu reads. I ordered the turkey club. The menu said it comes with bacon. No bacon was added. Menu said it comes with ranch. No ranch was added. But they’ll bark at you asking what kind of bread you want. None of the bread options are labeled. How am I supposed to know?The whole operation is a mess from the signage to the lack of any food being labeled, to the staff that clearly doesn't want to be there (so rude and so openly pissed off). Oh and the turkey club sub I ordered? It was awful! Just awful. Sadly most of it went in the trash. I don’t know how you can mess up a turkey sandwich but Publix did.If you go, good luck to ya!Note: there’s a young man who works either in the deli area or the sub area. I’ve seen him in both areas. He is an exception to this review. He’s polite and helpful and genuinely seems pleasant. I only hope he doesn’t learn from his surroundings. He’s carrying that place.

Publix is a chain grocery store that is new to the area but popular in other areas. The store was beautiful and almost every employee I ran accross said hello. The store has a reputation for great fast assembled sandwiches and such but I didn't try any today. The store is a nicer and a little pricier than say Walmart but everything looked great. The fresh produce was beautiful also. It's out of the way for me but more are coming.
