I cannot say enough good things about Bree. She is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about everything from how to care for my dog, to harnesses, etc. She loves our dog and it shows. She takes her time with Kona and books her for early appointments knowing that she gets anxious. Bree is such an asset to your store, she deserves a raise as well as a bonus.

Couldn’t complete grooming because my PUPPY was nervous. She won’t get used to it if the groomer keeps giving up. Also charged me for a bath that was not completed. I had to pick up my puppy and she was soaking wet and we still got charged.

Horrible experience. Had a grooming appt at 9am. Was knocking on the glass for 5 min. Also called the grooming phone # since petco store wasn’t open yet. Phone kept ringing. No one answered.I saw employees walking around in the store and no one came to the door to talk to me. Finally I got someone’s attention and they said I can’t come in until the actually appt time because the groomer was finishing up. I told them to cancel my appt. Answer the phone. If no one can answer the phone, find someone that can. You should not have someone banging on the glass windows while YOU SEE THEM AND KNOW THEY HAVE AN APPT. No communication at all. I’ve had a grooming appt with this same location before and did not have this experience. I’ve also keep having issues getting assistance when I do a pick up order. No one is ever around. You have to go search for help on the floor. There needs to be someone at the register or at least a MOD in the front of the store. Don’t go here, make the drive to the petco in va beach or Chesapeake.

Waited 2 months to have my puppy groomed. The first appointment was canceled via text..I was 5 minutes late to my next appointment due to circumstances beyond my control so called to let the groomer know but was put on hold and no one ever answered. Once I actually arrived there was a lady in front of me picking up and no one at the desk for about 5 more minutes. Once I got up to the counter the groomer told me I was 10 minutes late and she couldn’t groom my dog. She was very rude and unprofessional which didn’t help the matter so I left. This was my first grooming appointment with Petco and will be my last at this location.

I used to love coming to Petco in Suffolk when Jessie worked there. Side note, does anyone know where Jessie works now?The last appointment I made was cancelled via text. No one tried to reschedule me, I only received a text saying they would be closed.Then I made a new appointment. And just a couple days before my appointment I get a text saying that because I didn’t select the deshed option I would need to reschedule if I wanted one.I said didn’t and wanted to keep my original appointment that I made almost two months ago. To make a long story story short; I explained I didn’t feel my dog needed the deshed bath and I was asked if we brush often and I explained that we did. She said she would have to look at the dog at my appointment and if she felt she needed a deshed bath at that moment I would have to leave and reschedule but that either way she couldn’t guarantee if they would keep my appointment. This woman’s demeanor lacked professionalism and overall they should bring Jessie back.

Never in my life have I ever bought the bottom of a Kitty litter Box separately from the hood So that's the new thing they're doing you can't buy the set you have to buy it separately the hood itself Is $32 the bottom is 16 that is crazy no thanks will be going somewhere else. Petco needs to do better. And customer service sucks the young man that was helping me had nothing but an attitude because I was shocked. I am 42 years old I have never bought it separately they have always come As I said We'll be going to petsmart they have a set for $30.

The staff are awesome, super informative and clearly versed in their area of care. Addressed my concerns with my FurBaby and in the event I was less than content, they readily made efforts to correct the issue, very reasonable and professional As well as personal service.I Greatly appreciate the staff: Bianca, Tamara, Jesse, and a guy whose name I did not get, but he was so patient and informative in reference to my concerns of my baby’s Nasty Habit and some option to deter her from it.Amy was awesome in helping me find the improved diet options for my FurBaby.Thank you Also!!!

Brittany was my groomer and she did a fantastic job on my dog Chico's nails. I had previously taken him to Dog House and i paid extra for his nails to be filed and buffed and when he came home they were as sharp as they were when I took him. When Brittany did them I brought him home and his nails are perfect. In addition, my dog was shaking all over when i took him to Dog House and when i took him to Brittany at Petco he feel in love with her right away and veryw calm and when we went to leave Chico was still very calm. I think it's Brittany's experience and personality that makes a dog feel calm. I am very pleased and have recommended Petco to my friends.

Came here for flea medication for my dog. This was the first time I've been here and for some reason I was skeptical of this place. But the guy up front with the beard I believe it was a manager, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I asked a simple question about the product I was buying and he informed me of other prescription options through their clinic if it doesn't work. The product also rang up $14 higher than the price they had online. I showed him my phone and he matched the price! I will return because of him 🤙

They were wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helped me come up with a plan to best keep up with my Pets grooming needs. All the staff in the grooming department came out to talk to me about my girl Mila and her experience that day. That made me feel good. It was our first time grooming there.

I always have wonderful customer service in the Suffolk Harbor View store from every store associate. The grooming salon has wonderful groomers and I have been able to use same groomer for years which is great because my dog feels more comfortable with her. She knows exactly how to groom my dog, is attentive to details and my dog's special likes and dislikes and fears. I will continue to shop at your store.

Our groomer Bre is absolutely phenomenal and she really cares about her clients. This is not just something that she is doing to earn a pay check, but her heart is in her work and it shows. We love her and would not what to do if she decided that her time was up at Petco. She is the model employee and you need more people like her working for your company. My Buddy adores her and she spoils him rotten, I am so comfortable leaving him with her because I know he is in GREAT hands!!!!!

The groomer was very attentive to my cat and immediately was loving on her from the moment they met. My cat smells wonderful and fur looks so nice now. She clearly paid extra attention to her. She even put caps on her nails for me and gave me some helpful advise on treating my cat's sensitive skin. I will definitely be returning to this location. This is the complete opposite of my experience when I went to Petsmart!

Jesse does a great job with Daisy who used to get groomed at her vet's office but I wasn't thrilled with the job they did and tried Petco. We got Jesse for our first visit and always choose her for our return visits. Daisy goes in with Jesse willingly and comes out looking beautiful. Plus the written report that we get on how the visit went is very helpful.

Juan was Gilbert's groomer & he was awesome! He was very friendly as was every other employee we came into contact with. Juan took the time to ask me what it was I wanted for my pup's grooming & even gave suggestions when I fell short of some answers! I was nervous since my dog had never been groomed since I have owned him.. & I am not sure if he had ever been since he is a rescue who was abused in the past. He came out looking so cute & smelling so good & did very well! Thank you!! We will definitely return!

Bree is wonderful with our dog, she handles him with care because she has some help issues. She makes good recommendation s as well that have helped in her well being. We have gone else were and out pet came home limping. Petco is great.

This was my 1st experience with grooming services at Petco. Juan was very helpful in explaining the services available and he did a fantastic job! Other groomers have not been able to trim my pup's nails in the past... but Juan was able to trim them all and my pup's coat is soft and shining! My pup will be back to visit Juan again soon

Our groomer was so well detailed about telling us what went on with Stella how the appointment went suggestions. She seems super excited to be working with Stella. She seemed educated the service was fast it was very clean and Stella felt and smelled amazing.

Groomer has excellent skills and my Kap bonds well with her. He is more than a handful, but seem to calm down once he is in her arms. Her kind patient demeanor just seems to mesmerize him. She takes time to educate me in areas where I am not well versed ie. telling me about escape proof and hard to destruct harnesses. I rated an eight because of the timely wait to check in and out.
