This grocery store is incredible. It is MASSIVE. Produce was fresh and decent prices. Large and varied beer/wine/spirits section for a grocery store. I came just for some bananas and beer after a delayed arrival flight, it was open until 23h00 on a Sunday which is nice. Will be back everytime I am in Suffolk!

Normally I love Kroger, but why is it all self checkout at 6a? I had 40 items and had to flag down store clerks who stand there. I had them do my iD check on my wine in addition to when I had to flag them down after 20 items. Then I had to flag them down again when I was going to checkout cause I was at 40 items. Then while it was raining last week it was 6a and people had passed by inside without unlocking the doors. Super frustrating.

This store is way above the rest of the other Kroger stores in this area. The staff is definitely better prepared to help and serve the customers. They were professional, friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. The store was very clean, stocked and uncluttered which makes for a more enjoyable experience. Overall I would shop here if you like a nice peaceful and friendly shopping experience.

I’ve come into this place plenty of times. We enjoy the beer kiosk that’s in the middle of the store. I was shocked to be questioned by HARRY in the wine tasting section when he said I already ordered 3 beers. There were plenty of people who sat in the section before me and were never questioned about beer limits. I had to basically argue with him to prove that I was not on my 3rd beer. I have come here plenty of times and this never happened. As a matter of fact I brought a friend and was embarrassed when Harry put his two cents in about me already ordering 3 beers when I didn’t. This is the type of situation that make me not want to come or shop here in the future. I’m sure my friend will never come here again, because he made it a spectacle to address a lie that I had already ordered 3 beers when it wasn’t true. Thanks Kroger for the profiling the local customer that comes here weekly!!!

This was my first time at Kroger. I used the self checkout. Did not get her name but she was helping at self checkout. I was there on Feb 17 around 6pm and she was the most friendly and helpful person. Love her energy and customer service Beyond Excellence!!

I don’t know who was in charge of the store layout for this location, but it is a wreck. It makes no sense and doesn’t flow like every other Kroger I’ve been to. The aisles are too tight to be able to shop without clogging up. Their pointless “grand re-opening” only made it worse. The store on Frederick Blvd is so much nicer, I’ll stick to that one.

Excellent store! Great product, great quality, and great variety, although the friendliness of service could be ticked up a notch. Shelves are always stocked, though. If you haven't tried it, Private Selection ice cream is the best.

JUST A WORD OF ADVICE....Today, February 1, 2024, my husband, our 2 yr old Granddaughter and myself shopped at the Suffolk Kroger Marketplace during their Grand Reopening. We love this store, and the helpful, friendly cashier Tyla but the front end manager wasn't so helpful. We purchased $200 worth of groceries and they only had one bagger. My husband went to the manager (young lady with the red jacket on) to ask for one of 3 associates that was standing around to see if they could assist us and our cashier. The manager said the cashier was trained to bag. Oh? Ok, however, in the meantime, her line was growing. If there is an available associate STANDING around, why couldn't they help? Teamwork makes the DreamWork. Oh yeah, it was one bagger hopping from one register to the next and back again. Wow. Kudos to him. Be kind and give him a hand. Smh. When you know better, you do better.

Idk how to start but my sons bday was the 2nd but due to a death in the family we moved his party to the 10th not realizing sun was super bowl we were struggling to find green cup cakes we went to the bakery and talked to Mika and she took such good care of us I am truly appreciative of her. She made our sons bday with the cup cakes. Thank u so much mika

8 pm and not one register open. I'm not a cashier, I'm a customer. I'm happy to go to a store with employees to scan and bag my groceries, happy to not come back here. $42 for a pack of Hanes tanks, and their website posts one set of hours while the employees tell another. I regret that there aren't other store options nearby.

I've never been in a Kroger that was so clean and full of specialty sections. It even has a wine tasting bar!! I'm very impressed. We're new to this area and we're not disappointed with this store has to offer.

The food selection is awesome. The cashier was cool. The customer service lady was RUDE! She stood with another employee just lallygagging and looking at pictures the other employee was showing her…totally ignoring me. What happened with today’s customer service? This happens all too much these days. No regard for the customer. Such a pity Kroger.

4/21/22: the pharmacy here is great.Good selection but high prices.Curbside is a joke at this store. I was just comped $15 because curbside forgot to bring out my refrigerated goods- turns out I will be charged for them even though I didn’t get them. I’d rather shop anywhere else than deal with Kroger curbside again.Whoever does curbside pickup is still lazy. I usually end up going back into the store for whatever curbside didn’t pick up. Plus this store is expensive as hell. For as much as I’m paying for groceries, could you try to sub something like lighters??? I tried calling to speak with someone in the store but the phone tree system is very effective at keeping customers from speaking to employees.2/2022: This Kroger has been much better the last few months. I’m sure they are understaffed the way everyone is, but they are making it work somehow. 👏👏👏July 2021: This store’s curbside pickup and pharmacy have a lot to desire. I have been here 45 minutes for one Rx and one curbside pickup. I hope my cold and frozen items are still good when I get home. This watermelon was loaded last next to the door so that when I opened it the watermelon fell out into the parking lot. My whole car smells like sticky watermelon juice.

Both steamers at the seafood counter broke over a month ago. Neither has been replaced as of yet. At least put up a sign saying both are broken, instead of having people wait in line for 10 minutes only to be told so. Pathetic.

What is the reason for them rearranging the store. They have the dumbest placement of shelves now. There's a whole wall in front of the milk with school supplies. Like why right there ? Theres so many other things that they changed spots and they are in wierd places now . There was no reason for them to redo the store. They just made everything worst and I can never find anything now. The new placement of everything is placed in dumb spots. whoever they hired to redo everything is doing a bad job at choosing the best placement for things. If they spent money to change everything around that was a waste of money. And people in the store are complaining to as I shop. It's ridiculous this was not a good choice.

This store has a great variety of items, so I usually find what I need. THIS LAST TRIP was a little different in that the store is under renovation and things are in disarray. But hopefully soon things will improve.

This is one of the largest Kroger store, sparkly clean. You can get a number of things here including clothesline, toys, alcohol, etc. They have other areas where you can buy some warm food and drinks. You can even sit in the bar in middle of the store and drink wine or beer. Their customers service is nice. Love it!

Kroger has the BEST rotisserie/baked Chicken (regardless of location)! I have tried Harris Teeter, Food Lion, and Sam's Club and they all taste good on the surface; but Kroger's Chicken has the best longevity -- it keeps well. When I re-heat Kroger's baked chicken (especially the white-meat) it's not tough or DRY. It's still moist and tender. They are definitely doing a better job of prepping before baking.

I was racially profiled and told to leave the self checkout line and go to customer service without any explanation as to why, I’ve never had issues like this before but after this I don’t think I will be shopping here anymore

Great supermarket and more, always have what I need, the online and pickup service is great and the people are always friendly. Only issue I have is their carts, one wheel always has a flat spot so the carts are loud and bouncing. The place is always clean and we'll stocked.

Carl in the bakery is the best. Something happened with my cake order in the system after I placed it causing it not to have been received by the bakery. Carl was literally walking out for his 30 minute break, put his food down, and told my 6 year old son (whose birthday party started in a hour and a half) and I that “we will figure this out”. We walked out with a cake that said what it was supposed to, even though it wasn’t what we ordered Carl made it happen for us and for that we are so appreciative. Carl deserves all the recognition!

Still more pricy than Walmart. The store is also being remodeled so many of the I prefer are hard to find or in short supply.
