I always visit this particular Food Lion because it’s always a pleasant shopping experience here. The shelves are always stocked, the store and parking lot are clean, they’re always up to date with the holidays, and the employees are always cheerful and willing to assist if needed.

Compared to the majority of other food lion stores in the area I will say that this is definitely one of the more organized and nicely stocked ones. The employees are actually busy doing helpful and productive things instead of sluggishly dragging around the store looking lost.

Came in food lion looking for some fried chicken for dinner. And it's Sunday after 1pm and the cooks tell me that they are finished cooking for the day. But I see someone back in the deli frying chicken. When I inquired I was told that that was for orders already called in. I said it's 1pm people are going to be getting out of church looking to come by and grab 1 or 2 8pc for dinner. And you're done cooking for the day. The young lady told me that they are just going to be disappointed & have a nice day.

First off the employees are always polite and the store itself is usually well stocked. That being said, I continously have issues with their produce department. Attached are pictures of a red bell pepper sealed and just put out thats already gone bad.

Courteous customer service from all employees. They are always willing to help you find items, even if you're not sure where the location or even if the store carry it. The stockers always keep the shelves in proper order which makes it easier to shop in a timing manner. I always have a good experience when visiting this location.

I go past my local Food Lion to go to this one! Self Checkout lanes make checking out light-years faster than my local one without them

I called to order 12 pieces of chicken and I was told that they could not do it cause they had a big order for the day. This is crazy so you can't do anything else but one order in the day. This is the worst deli service from food loin I have ever gotten.

Good prices but hardly any cashiers so long linesUpdate 4/2/22: the Food Lion on Rt 10 has, in my opinion, greatly improved. There are 4 self check-out lanes for faster service and there's always someone there to assist you if need be. Prices are still good, all things considered. Aisles are very clean and departments are well kept.Update 6/12/22: this store in particular still looks great. Other Food Lion stores should follow their example.

I was impressed! A mad rush, two days before Thanksgiving, at about 6:30 pm and there were no less than 6 people stocking shelves, everything I needed was there, plenty of registers open! What a pleasant surprise! I could tell the cashier was stressed, but she still had a sense of humor. Great experience today!

Employees are helpful, usually has every thing in stock. Sometimes they don't. Love the sushi, it's my favorite part. And the deli has a great selection to and have small set of meat and cheese out for convenience.

I was at Food Lion Sunday, They had 3 mangers up front. We had a cart Full. And had to go to self service!!! When we tired to go to excess I was told by the cashier this is express!!! Okay. So why another lines was open. And she express could have taken Us! Very poor customer service. And your deli gentleman poor customer service. You're Service should be Servef with a decent Smile and So Warmth sounds like she Re training needs to be in order. You Do know Publix is coming then You're have other options .suffolk area

Awesome place to shop. It opens early 7-10 at night. Workers here are very good. Customer service is excellent. You need an "MVP" card to get discounts. There's a Western Union in the customer service area that I used from time to time to send money internationally. Oh, and the vegetable section is awesome.

Love shopping at Foodlion! The store inWindsor, Va is my favorite and worth the 30 minute drive. Customer service is great and the meat dept. staff are so awesome! Very kind and took the time to help.

It's a grocery store with easy access to roadway, limited selection of products and heavy on their own brands.Produce is pretty good thankfully, meats are never Angus beef. For steaks Kroger or Wal-Mart are the only local retailers for Angus beef.Most of staff is okay with a few really bright ones working through college.You can buy adequate food stuff for meals and do fine shopping there. But taking in other stores a long with shopping there is a better plan.Beer and wine available with an adequate wine area, huge beer section and most is chilled!bakery and deli available sometimes with surprising inventory.I'm just not loving food lion and I would like to. They fail to delight me too often.Pity, they could but corporate policy is what it is.Coffee filters, ain't got time to spill on that kettle of fish but what ya gotta do sometimes to get something out of them is a shame.Details at 11.

Much of the on sale items I was like for and needed were all out of stock or sold out. But, I made due, even though I spent way more money then I wanted. I may have to make e another stop or two before going to food lion next time

This Good Lion is a convenient location to stop. Generally the store is well stocked and clean. There are a few long time employees that are very friendly.
