The reason I give this a one star is because every time we're going there they have at least 10 minutes before they close and when we get there she looks directly at us and closes the door and locks it letting other customers go in but when we try to go in they don't let us I don't understand why that other woman that sits at the counter let her do that while she miss I don't know her name go to the door and locks it I hope she gets fired.

Beware: there is a lot if false advertising here. Almost every trip I make I'm having to having to have 1+ item put back because the price is 50-100% higher than what is listed on the shelf. The employees don't care and some are even downright rude.

Today I went into family dollar to purchase some cleaning supplies to clean my home. While walking around the store the young lady is following me and she proceeds to ask me if I am ok. I said yes. I continue to walk around the store not knowing what all I wanted to purchase. I walk to the register to purchase my items. The cashier is on the phone king to someone about texting someone and calling them and they didn’t answer the phone. I pay for my items and walk out the door. I get half way to my car and I guess the cashier tells the manager that I put something in my purse. How would the cashier have seen if there was anything in my purse if she was on the phone and she didn’t even tell me how much my total came up too. I am a regular at this family dollar. I will never shop here again in my life.

First off this store did not smell good as soon as you entered. Very off-putting. Then we tried to buy a toy sword for my son, but because it didn't have a tag she wouldn't sell it. Didn't offer to go look for another or find a way to enter it in another way, nothing. Just said no. My kids finally went looking for another, but couldn't find one. Lady just continued to stare blankly and offer no solution. Will never shop here again.

Some of the staff members are nice but the overall appearance of the store is messy and disorganized. Too often the check out lines are unnecessarily long. If you can go to a different location, please do.

Sloppy...junky and the sales rep had the nerve to have an attitude because I'm trying to shop and she was putting up merchandise. Such a hazardous place...ladders, buckets out in the aisle.

It's ok. Looks rundown and in need of a facelift or renovation but it still a convenient store to go for quick stuff. Huge parking lot.
