Don’t be afraid… I actually had a good experience? I called ahead of time to see if a medication was in stock for a pet because goodrx showed it was cheaper here. The person at the pharmacy I spoke with was polite and answered my question quickly. I dropped the prescription off and let the woman helping know I had a goodrx coupon. She let me know she might have one that could be better than the goodrx I had — she did, beat the price by more than $10 of my coupon! The medication was ready quickly and had no issues picking it up. I didn’t use the drive thru, but my experience was vastly different than many described here.

CVS has a real problem filling prescriptions. They have only one clerk and one pharmacist. They have closed the drive through.They are not filling automatically renewed prescriptions on time. My husband ran out of his prescription.We are going to move our prescriptions.CVS management needs to do something before a revolt takes place.I wish there was a negative 5 star rating.

Terrible pharmacy! The staff is rude and is not willing to help. They make you feel like because you have certain medications that are clearly prescribed and you are well over your 30 day period that you are a drug addict. Not a good place for those that have medications that need to be taken daily without fail because they do not care. I will be changing pharmacies ASAP

There is no signage about time the pharmacy closes at the drive through. I was in line at 655pm behind someone else and they close at 7pm. I had just received a new Rx from Urgent care. They shut down by time I drove up. I am switching all my Rxs to a different pharmacy.

Sign in drive thru says closed for lunch from 1:30 until 2. At 1:50 there’s a line around the building. One car drives off then I’m next. It’s 2:25 someone finally comes on the speaker and says,”we’re only allowing pickups inside.” Never took the lunch sign down. Everyone goes around and parks. Once getting inside my daughter says there’s a line around the inside of the store. I can not go inside with a broken femur. And I’m sure there’s others in line who couldn’t come in as well. Changing pharmacies from CVS completely. As a professional in the medical field I am beyond upset with the customer service CVS provides.

I have called twice in order to speak to the pharmacy. After waiting on hold for 5+ minutes, the phone call abruptly ended... This wasn't an issue with my cell service, as it happened twice and I checked to make sure it wasn't my fault I dropped the call. As a parent, trying to get my RXs is like herding cats with most of the CVS locations, but this one on Godwin is especially horrendous. If it is a tech issue, they really should resolve this. People don't have time to wait on hold, get hung up on, then call back and go through all the prompts again. I don't even have time to write this review, but people should be aware....

One of the most unprofessional pharmacies I've been in. On my last visit, the person at pick up literally threw a bag of meds to the person at the drive thru pick up window. Today when I went, there were 9 people around the center pharmacy table all standing around talking. The drive thru line had 5 cars waiting, 3 people were waiting in the pharmacy for their meds. My medication wasn't ready for pickup.We are switching insurances so we don't have to go thru them next year. The WORST!

I have been on hold for 20 minutesNO ONE will answer phone. Hung up tried TWO more times. Fourth call I finally got a person up front since the pharmacy seems to be nonexistent. I said I had been on hold for a VERY long time, no one was answering the phone. She PUT ME BACK ON HOLD. F CVS. I will NEVER use this place again. Ever. Abysmal service.

Today I went to pick up my mother's medicine due to her being in an accident yesterday evening. I get there the front staff tells us to wait ten minutes for the pharmacy to open up so me and another woman waited. Then other people came up as well. So we waited by the pharmacy in line the staff in the back didn't acknowledge us or greet us they had the divider pulled down. So we waited 20 mins and another customer asked where they opening the pharmacy. The lady in the back with her rude demeanor got real nasty for no reason all because we wanted to know were the opening the pharmacy. At the moment they don't have a pharmacist so they are very short handed. The customer service is terrible at this location. Don't go there take your business else where.

Slow service. Most of the time, the pharmacy is closed. It wasn't like this before. But this CVS needs to give employees more hours. All this started after corporate cut hours. Now, the consumer pays for the consequences.

The Pharmacy Associates here were deplorable! My wife overpaid for my medication and I came back the next day to get the difference. (You have 14 days to do so on non-control medication)The pharmacist working the morning of 6/27/2023 am hours flat out refused to refund me the difference.I called CVS corporate number to complain and while waiting outside the store a corporate representative called the store and they were all rude to the Corporate Representative as well.The pharmacist told the corporate representative to escalate the problem he was not going to refund me the difference. Wow! The disrespect from a neighborhood store is unbelievable at this location! The pharmacy needs a complete overhaul!I am definitely taking my business where I am respected as a client!

This is the WORST pharmacy and CVS I have ever used. I have moved my entire families prescriptions to a different pharmacy. The customer service reps, pharmacy techs and pharmacist are all completely incompetent and have no idea what they are doing. They closed the pharmacy for over 4 hours this morning with no notice, then decided they would only open the drive thru. This lead to a huge back up of cars waiting, which went all the way out of the parking lot and into the road to turn in. After waiting in line for almost 40 minutes we pull up to the window to pick up a prescription and the girl tells us they cant fill any at the moment because the pharmacists is getting a vaccine and cant complete any requests. She tells us to go get in the back of the line and we can wait again. This is utterly ridiculous to hear, and this is not the first time there have been issues with this place. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the first few issues but no more. I am filing a complaint with their Corporate office along with additional places. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS!!!

10/20/23This pharmacy is seriously understaffed at this time. They are waiting on corporate to help resolve the problem, but they seem to be dragging their feet, and it is creating some issues. Meanwhile, the staff has remained professional. Kevin was so patient and understanding.

This location has gotten horrible. My insurance company requires me to use CVS and I have for years but the past few months this one has been terrible. They never have medicines in stock. There have been at least 3 different meds that they have been sold out of over the past few months. They are never staffed. The drive thru is always closed. They make you wait 2-3 days for meds. My auto refill prescriptions still take several days to refill. They claim corporate has cut their staff so I hope that corporate sees this and realizes what they are doing.

The absolute Worst pharmacy in Suffolk!! Don't even try calling... today is my 2nd day calling about a prescription that was called in 9 days ago! I don't want to stand in the line for an hour just to be told it's not ready so I'd like to know if it's been filled before I go up there and waste all that time again. Both days calling, after I go through that silly automated mess, Ive been on hold 16 minutes minimum! One of the calls I stayed on hold for 21 minutes before hanging up! I still haven't talked to anyone!!!once the auto filled prescription is done for this month, I will be switching to another pharmacy!

I came to this store while in Virginia After trying to reach the pharmacy for 3 hours and no one would answer the phone. Then I decided to get in my car and drive here and while in the parking lot I call the store and got someone in the front who told me that the store and pharmacy was very busy that’s why no one could answer. Not realizing I was actually walking into the store to my surprise there was no one at the register and there was only 2 customers at the pharmacy. They also had the drive thur closed so no one cloud come through There . I then spent another 30 minutes in the store waiting for the attendant to assist me with contacting my main pharmacy and getting my prescription transferred which I was trying to get set up before I got here if someone would had answered the phone. Only to then have the attendant tell me to come back in another 30 minutes to get my medication. And when I arrived back to the pharmacy after receiving a text message saying it was ready I then had to stand in the line another 30 minutes . This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any CVS I have ever been to and I have been to several CVs across the country. This one is the worst by far . Customer service deserves a negative. At this point listening to the natives that live here that fact that they say this is the norm at the CVS . This store should be shut down or taken over by new management that can turn it around. Because one bad apple can spoil a bunch.

I have been with this pharmacy since they opened, but it has gone majorly downhill over the years. The staff is very professional and always working hard - however it seems to be a lack of staffing issue. They never answer the phone no matter how long you wait on hold. Now they have closed their drive thru as well. What is management doing to help solve this problem? After many years unfortunately I will be having all of my prescriptions transfered elsewhere.

I can never get ahold of the pharmacy. I called in and waited 45 minutes and was when they answered the called out to the customer in line and then hung up the phone. When I called back I was put back at the end of the line and placed back on hold for another 40 minutes or more. My prescription required insurance approval. I literally only needed to tell them that the doctor’s office said they just needed to run the prescription through again and they would have the approval but I couldn’t get ahold of anyone in the store to tell them. My prescription affects my brain chemistry and I need it, but they can’t be bothered not to hang up on me.

Expect to wait two to three WEEKS to get your prescription filled. It's a ghost town back in the pharmacy. When their system goes down you have to REORDER prescriptions that formerly were being processed. I am SO TIRED of waiting. I have never had so many problems getting medication on time!!!

8/29/23 update: Got A text that 1 of my Son's medications was not available and they were getting an alternative. Not exactly how you wanna learn that. When I tried calling the store I was never able to get through to a human. I live close by so I got in my car and went up there. Did not see a single person that I recognized in the pharmacy. A completely new crew. Spoke with the pharmacist who was dismissive and rude, and he instructed me to step over to the other counter and talk to the young lady there. She was very polite and very helpful. And when I mentioned that there were no faces I recognized, she explained me that all of the pharmacy personnel quit on the same day and the pharmacist was transferred to a different location. So there's a totally new crew in there. I don't know what's wrong with this CVS, but they can't seem to get their stuff straight. They have terrible management going on there. And this is from the top (corporate) down.4/5/23 update: On hold for ONE HOUR & 25 minutes & pharmacy never picked up. Called front of store on separate phone THREE TIMES at 45 minutes, 70 minutes, & after pharmacy closed at ONE HOUR & 25 min & was ONLY THEN told rx system Down & phones were not working ALL DAY. Will be moving my Rxs across the street to Walgreens tomorrow. I will also be filing a complaint with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy. This is ridiculous as well as unprofessional and a huge safety issue for patients needing medications filled in a timely fashion. This Pharmacy location is consistently understaffed and CVS needs to be held accountable.

DON’T come here unless you want to stand in line for 30 + minutes. The drive through is always closed. Don’t bother calling either. Just get your prescriptions sent somewhere else. They are severely understaffed and have been for months. It’s a nightmare.

I would give zero stars if I could . Every time my sons doctor send a prescription “they never get it “ a huge children’s hospital and you’re telling me you don’t get it every time ? Now here I am with a prescription I called and waited on hold i was on hold for 15 minutes just for them to hang up because they answered it at 1:29 and they close at 1:30 for lunch . Now I’ve called back again and I’ve been on hold for over 30 mins . When they texted me !! Telling me to call in but yet you can’t answer the phone . I just moved here and my old CVS was great . This is horrible customer service . Horrible communication . Do better

The pharmacy is completely disorganized. The customer service is poor, and I'm being generous. The notification process they use is inefficient. They habitually issue partial fills of prescriptions that requires you to return to the pharmacy (and wait again). I could not possibly recommend this pharmacy.

I was in there for 10+minutes and never saw a member of staff until after I made it to self checkout.But I'm giving two stars just to be nice because I need to tell the world something... My friend went in there just to buy ChapStick. Literally just ChapStick. Who does that?!? My crazy friend. We were on the way to Walmart where they sell, you guessed it, ChapStick. Along with everything else she needed. That ho be crazy.Also, I took a picture of some cute pumpkins. They are worth at least one star.Seriously though, this CVS needs to hire some people because they are very understaffed.
