The store and bathroom appear old, run down, and give the sense it's dirty. But, you can tell it's well kept and is actually cleaned and well organized. There were plenty of stock to choose from and a good amount of clearance. Easy to navigate. Quiet store. Great place for school supplies and gardening needs.

This Big Lots is a good & solid department store. The Staff is always friendly & professional. They have alot of different product genres from food, to household items, to backyard accessories(gazebos), to household furniture. This is a overall good department store with reasonable prices.

I usually find what I'm looking for. I was good until they put that friggin 'Maze of Wonders' at the front! There's NOTHING on those shelves there that we want, so could you please remove them? The closeness of them makes maneuvering around with our baskets impossible. Other than that, great job! Thank you

Went looking for baby items, and they said that they do not carry them anymore. There was only one register open, and that associate had problems making the line that much longer people were getting frustrated. Finally, another associate came up and opened another register.

Was greeted by nice young gentleman. I noticed that the sign on the door said it closed at 8. Being 7:55 I told him I was just going to get something and get right out. He said ma'am you're fine. Don't worry we close at 9 and even if we didn't your fine. The store was clean and the staff was very pleasant.

I was greeted by a cashier when I first walked in. The same cashier answered every question I asked her regarding a product in the store. On my way out I thought I had all the sale items she said you're missing one bag and patiently waited while I only got another bag to complete my purchase. A wonderful experience. Just sorry I didn't get her name.

Big Lots- Suffolk, VA. Location. Nothing special. Don't seem to have the selection that some Big lots have. The store isn't the best kept Big Lots either. Lots of items seem to be out of place. The clearance isles prices are nothing special. Ex: A 4 pack of drinking glasses is missing one, and they only take the exact amount of for the missing glass if you divide the price by the number of glasses. Usually the discount would be better on such things. The parking is fine at this location. There's a Dollar Tree nextdoor. It's also very close to Walmart and Lowes making shopping easy.

The cashier Taylor definitely the best cashier I have met. She was nice, made sure if I wanted my drink in a bag, and put my cart back for me! The store itself was at a nice temperature with everything neatly organized

Customer Service reaches HERO state.! Defective product replaced with love and smiles though I walked in during store closing. I expected to return the next day to complete the process. These two truly professionals acted as if my issue was the most important issue in all of our city. I am grateful and honored to award them "my" "Best Customer Service Award" for the day. Thank you.

Was in the Suffork VA store yesterday. Looking for Easter merchandise. I was frustrated with the lack of pricing on the merchandise and there wasn’t anyone on the floor to ask. This wasn’t the first time that merchandise wasn’t priced. I left the store frustrated and not purchasing anything. So did another customer who felt the same. I do not want a surprise at the register. I will consider ever returning to this store again. Poor management? Poor staff?Thank you for your time.John

Was in and out quickly and found just what I needed. I had looked in numerous other stores for a large but not too large gift bag. I should have known Big Lots would have it! This I was able to find on Christmas Eve, no less!

The store is great. I love their selection on holiday decor. The bathrooms however are disgusting. They always have been. Filth everywhere. Writing on the walls. Smelly. Just gross.

I really like the Big Lots on Main Street. The people are friendly. I've been shopping there for years now. I've visited newer locations but I always go back to the Main Street location. The staff is more helpful.

My husband has had three back surgeries. We went to this location to purchase a sofa and recliner. The young customer service rep could not be bothered to help him load the almost $1000 worth of furniture into the truck. Even handed my husband a push cart and showed him where to go in the warehouse to get our new purchase for himself. The night before we purchased the matching love seat from the Chesapeake store and a girl weighing not more than 125 pounds pushed it all the way to the curb AND helped load it.I'm wondering what happens when an elderly couple makes a purchase? This young man needs to have it explained to him that though my husband, or anyone really, may look fully capable it IS his job to help with these things. Thankfully, this is not a store that we normally shop because we drove over an hour to get there. Unfortunately though, my husband has reinjured his back.

Big Lots has become our go-to store for furniture and bedding. The products are a great value! Everyone fights over my 3 year old Big Lots recliner and it sits right next to a much more expensive La-Z-Boy.
