I can’t say enough good things about this business. I purchased a brand new zero turn lawn mower from them when my original purchase/deal with another business fell through. For the first time in a long time I felt as a customer I mattered to these guys. We only had one problem, but they made it right in outstanding time and fashion. I live over an hour away but they definitely have my business for life. Thank you guys for being amazing. The customer service & care is A+++++

This is one of the best ACE Hardware stores I've ever had the pleasure to shop at. So much better that box stores, stocked with drawers of hardware supplies that make it so easy to sample pick the right items. Every staff member we've encountered has been exceptionally helpful in taking us to the right spot in the store to find what we need. Love shopping here.

I purchased a few screws and got home and realized they were the wrong size. I returned to the store to purchase the correct size. I walked in and headed straight to the isle I needed. I realized it was darker in the store. Another customer was walking towards the counter. I thought maybe they are closing soon. An employee came around the corner, stopped and looked at me. I started to explain I had bought the wrong size but felt like something was off. He said yes and told me which size I needed but seemed put off. I asked what time do you close? He said we are already closed. I said ok I’ll come back another time and headed for the door. He said you’re good. I was locked in and had to wait for an employee to let me out. When I sat down in my car it was 6:02 pm. They close at 6:00 pm. Fantastic customer service. Clearly they wanted the hell out of there and made it clear. I can literally see Ace from my front porch but I don’t think I’ll be back. Shop local they say, not when you’re made to feel like an inconvenience.

"Bambozzled" My wife went there friday to buy a ariens snowblower and it was on sale for $850 normally 1400 applied for a loan that day. Monday comes the loan gets denied, no big deal. She went there to just buy it out right for the $850 and they tell me its not that price and that they dont carry the version we are looking for. The lady was clueless and a liar, the gentleman was an honest man working for a corrupt business. even says on the loan was not denied to credit that they can choose to deny whoever they want so they openly admitted to discrimination of a disabled autistic person shameful

It was okay. Took me a minute to find what I was looking for and the person stocking in the isle I was in wasn't any help but over all the people seemed nice from what I could tell observing and I got the bit I needed. Lowes and home depot did not have it. Much better selection of tools than the larger chains from what I could tell.

Fully stocked hardware and garden store with a very kind staff. They carry a full line of Stihl power equipment, a lot of it in stock in the store - nothing like looking at and holding new machines to make you want to upgrade.This is a co-op style store, so they also have a lot of stuff you need on your smaller farm - seeds, fertilizers, and various other farm consumables all available in bulk - saves you a lot of money over your homeowner style garden stores.Only negative is the hours - being located in a small town, this location closes earlier than your typical big box hardware store. Just adjust the timing of your "end of the day" hardware runs and you'll be just fine.

This is the best Ace I’ve ever been to. The employees are very nice and helpful. This location has a little of everything you need. They even seem to have many of the little odds and end things you spend an hour searching for in a big box home improvement store. The store has a nice environment and is well organized and always clean. There isn’t a ton of brand variety but a lot of times I like that there aren’t so many choices for something simple.

I haven't been in this store for a while. Upon walking in the door, I remembered why I like it so much! The staff is knowledgeable and ready to help immediately. They are very friendly too! Ace has such a wide variety of things, I doubt that you won't find something you need or want at reasonable prices.

A really nice hardware store, with about everything you could want around the house or shop. Everything's expensive these days, but they always seem to have what I want. They also seem to have tempting items I too often bye when I probably don't need them.

I took picture frames and had glass cut to fit. The gentleman that did the work went beyond to help me out. Everyone there was so polite and very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this place of business.

Everything in here are at least 20 to 30% higher than Lowes or Home Depot, and 40-50% higher than Walmart or other local lawn stores.For example, I bought calking gun. It was $16.95At Lowes, same style, $4.98At Home Depot, same style, $4.92At Walmart, same style, $2.29

My mom and I went there to purchase an 100 foot drain pipe. After the purchase, we discovered it wouldn't fit in the car. We didn't know anyone who had a truck so we didn't know what to do. One of the associates (I wish I could remember his name) said he would gladly deliver it to our house as he had a truck to carry it. He did deliver it on his break and he was so helpful and kind to us. All the associates there were very helpful and courteous. I would recommend this store over any other hardware store.

Yesterday evening I rushed into Ace Hardware in a slight panic after busting a piece off the bottom of our master bathroom sink. I still have no idea what this piece is called, but I knew enough to know that without it, the sink couldn't be used. My husband was a work and I probably shouldn't have been trying to "fix" anything without his assistance (and from here on out will practice patience and wait for him to take care of it), but I watched a YouTube video and it didn't seem that hard... Oops!! But anyway, to save some of my pride, I knew I needed to have it fixed before he got home. So that's how I ended up at ACE Hardware. As soon as I walked in the door I was asked if I needed assistance. I held up the busted piece and asked where I could find a new one. The associate told me which isle and then called for assistance to have someone meet me in the isle to make sure I got exactly what I needed... and the young man who met me in the isle couldn't have been more helpful. I don't visit hardware stores often, and when I do I always feel very overwhelmed, and lost. But this experience was the complete opposite. The associates were welcoming and more than willing to help!! And in case you are wondering, I was able to fix the sink, and my husband was quite impressed (even after I shared my little mishap).

They are close and when I need something for a project it beats going to Waynesboro. Their prices on a few things could be a little less but the convenience makes up for it. Very helpful nice people.

First time there. I was traveled from crozet because their website said they had a product in stock. Staff was freindly and helpful. Found the item for me and had me rang up in no time. Very clean store and well lite . would highly recommend.
