It's got a lot of convenient options, especially for a small town grocery store. They've got a Coinstar, carpet cleaning machine rental, Redbox, bags of ice, lottery, recycling options, etc. There's a deli counter and bakery, as well as a small hot food bar. Since they renovated they also have self checkout options. They also offer online ordering with parking spots you can pull into where they bring the groceries out to your vehicle. Fairly clean and organized.

Nice Food Lion. I took my 96 year old aunt and all the associates I interacted with were very nice.It was laid out almost the same as the Food Lion where I typically shop for my Mom in Hollins VA.Larger store in Stuarts Draft, a bit more selection.

I usually shop at the one in Fishersville, but live in Stuarts Draft..So I run to SD Foodlion to grab something for a fast breakfast and bought 2 boxes of their apple bites, baked in the bakery..I should have paid more attention because both boxes are bad.. They never had a chance to raise before baking and they didn't put any sugar on the top of them like normal.. They are tasteless and dry. Guessing their trying to save money and the customers losses..I will never spend $8.00 on them again.

Employees here are great! The man who works in the Dairy section (Russell) is so kind and always working hard. Clean store that usually has what I need. The prices have really gone up. Sometimes I need to go somewhere else to get a better deal for the exact same item.

I was just in Food Lion. People have done jacked up the food cooler being trifling. I asked a guy working trying to stock the cooler if they had any hot dog chili. He took me right to it. They were out. Without hesitation he said I have some in the back. He went right back to the back and got me one. Never had an attitude and his actions were a breath of fresh air. Thank you Garrett !!

Food Lion is a clean well-stocked grocery store in Stuarts Draft that always has what I need. Appreciate their friendly personnel whenever I'm searching for something. Always have in stock whatever is on my list.

Ran in to grab some cheese for dinner. Parking lot was free of carts; there were plenty in the store. Floor was clean and aisles were stocked. Did self checkout; easy and fast. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Clean store, well stocked. You can really tell the supply shortage is obvious, not their fault.Staff, what can I say that isn't obvious when you step in the door? They ROCK! I love them. Very helpful, familiar with their store. First to ask if they can assist me when ever they walk by or at least say hello making me feel noticed and welcome.

I was 💨🌲 one night and started craving those Pillsbury holiday sugar cookies, you know the ones with like the little pumpkins and stuff, so I looked online at Pillsburys website to find the closest place that sells these delicious diabetes discs, and they said my local food lion had them. I get to food lion, and looked all over for these cookies. They didn't have them... food lion, I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed...

Great products, great prices, great people!! You can't ask for better than that.It's September 17th. And we just got home from Food Lion in Stuarts Draft, just got to recognize Jerry in the meat department, he helped us by checking the stock room for Sprite zero which wasn't on the shelf but on sale. Jerry happily said he would check to see if they had any in the back, he then came back out with 4 six packs and went back to bring another one out, Jerry needs to be recognized for going out of his way to us. Food Lion is Lucky to have him as an associate. Thank you Jerry!!It's February 10th. 2022 and we've made many trips to Food Lion since I posted my last review, tell you a secret, it's gotten better. Seems they are starting to catch up from the pandemic and of course all the associates are still very helpful and nice. Very clean and pretty well stocked. Thank you Food Lion for hanging in there. Well Stocked. The cashier was very young,and not knowing how to count money was confused and ask if I didn't want to just give her such and such cash.I replied that I'd bet I'd get such and such amount back once she entered my cash amount into the register. I was correct and she still looked confused. She wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly either.

Assistant customer service manager think his last name was Anton? Was not only rude could not bag groceries accordingly even when I requested it to be a specific way. Its not hard to follow basic directions... if I ever decide to go back to this location avoiding this man like the plague.

Friendly staff. They carry items that are hard to find elsewhere. Also like the fact that they have ready to cook meals - seasoned and marinated meats and fish.Their produce section is always neat and well cared for.

Very nice except for all the shoppers not wearing masks. Made for an anxiety-filled shopping experience. I guess I don't blame the employees for not enforcing the rules; I wouldn't want to get chewed out by a self-centered redneck either.

They need to have more hand sanitizer when entering the store and sanitize wipes for carts.So that we don't spread more viruses and COVID-19. But the store is cleaned inside and food lion stuff they are helpful when needed.

Very unhappy with Stuart’s Draft Food Lion. No attempt made to keep patrons and employees safe. No social distancing encouraged with marks in floor. No dedicated entrance or exit to assist with social distancing. Not cleaning carts after each use and only one employee wearing a mask. Man behind me in line was way too close even as I continued to move away from him. No assistance from the cashier. I won’t be shopping there again! 5/3/20

wonderful produce, Food Lion staff great...vendor (Coke supplier) stocking shelves acted like I was a nuisance and though I was using a motorized cart refused to allow me thru until he was about finished..pretty disrespectful. Food Lion vendors always polite and helpful though.Favorite store in the area.

Big turn off that the strawberries were moldy...Very little selection.. I went to the deli and waited 12 mins before someone offered to help me when there were 3 people behind the counter... Then it took the one lady forever to slice my cold cuts because she kept stopping to talk to the other one... So much so that mid way thru I announced I was going to grab some milk and got back long before she finished and all I ordered was 1lb of ham and 1/2 lb swiss... Then trying to check out at the self service was a nightmare...The employee is telling me to wait and she'll direct me while others are just cutting in front of me going to the machines., And just before cashing out I was going to sign up for a savings card but they don't give it to you right there they mail it so it wouldn't help me when checking out today.... Disappointed..

Why is Food lion allowing customers to enter their store without masks despite the fact that it is an executive order. No dedicated entrance and exit. No evidence of cart cleaning. Please protect your employees and customers by enforcing this. Will not be returning to Food lion because I don't feel safe.

Went there Saturday night after work, to get something to eat, the wing bar was already closed, sign says hours are until 7pm, I was there at 6:20pm. Got some chicken tenders and a rotisserie chicken instead. Tenders had very little to no seasoning, rotisserie chicken was the same, little to no seasoning. You would thing that in a grocery store full of seasonings, they could do a better job. Will go elsewhere to get ready to eat food.

Placed order for birthday cake 2 days in advance. Showed up to pick up and the name was spelled wrong, the colors were wrong and it was a sheet cake but was supposed to be a2 layer cake. They tried to correct the name and couldn't. They had no yellow cakes in the store, not even in the back. Ruined a birthday party.
