Not real impressed with the person who answered the phone. Trying to make arrangements for my dog because we are going to be out of the country and my dad will be caring for him. They were not interested in who I was or who my dogs vet was, just told me they would figure it out for if there was an emergency. Ummmm……what is the word? Proactive? Yeah, that’s it. Trying to be proactive so if there was an emergency people are not scrambling. Shaking my head.

Dr June and Dr Longmire are great. The staff from the very sweet lady up front to Leslie and the young man in back are excellent and everyone is like family to my animals. I have been going here for a atleast 26 years. Highly recommend!!

I wouldn’t take my pet here. I just went in to ask questions for a new pup my dad was getting, the initial person was very rude and treated me as if I was a dummy because I asked questions. Hopefully DR. Doesn’t lose to much business because of her.

I have been going there for years I know June the veterinarian and her dad who lives next doorMy dog was dying and they told me to make an appointment for next week they could see my dog was emaciated/skinny, they didn't careThank God there's an animal veterinarian in Waynesboro next to Walmart that took the dog in immediately and saved the dogs lifeI recorded my experience on my cell phone, and when I get a chance I'm going to go to the state capitol board of certification and licensing and report what happenedI can't get prescriptions on my own June is the veterinarian for this dog she has seen this dog in the past they've got a monopoly on prescriptions on my dog needs a prescription I don't want to hear come back next week it's called ANIMAL HOSPITAL for a reasonI WASN'T TRYING TO GET MY DOG A PEDICURE OR A HAIRCUT THIS WAS OUTRAGEOUS

Best vets in the area! They love all the pets who come there. Will work you in whenever you have concerns and all the staff is so very caring. I called them at closing time with a dying pet and they told me to come on in. The only vets I'll ever go see. I tell everyone about them!

My dog, Reba, loved Dr Longmire. After she passed away (at age 14) I got a new puppy, Hannah, and she loves him too! I wouldn't take her any place else.

Took my kitty for a ck up on her mouth, very extensive exam was given by Dr. Longmire. He is the best in my book. All was well, service excellent, price reasonable.

I just recently changed Vet offices for my three dog's. I came to Dr. June on a glowing recommendation from my friend. I am so glad that I came here. The entire team that I have met so far has been awesome. When I called the office to make all of these appointments, they were helpful and polite. Dr. June is very informative and down to earth. It seems to me that she understands the struggles of pet parents of older dogs who just want to give their dog the a calm and relaxing retirement and not put them through unnecessary stress to try and fix this or that. Thank you Dr. June we are glad we came to see you.

Sarah, receptionist, gave an appointment same day. She is a very helpful person. Dr. Longmire saw my cat within 8 minutes of my arrival. He is always so good with the cat. He treated her and she seemed all better within 4 days.

They never have any appointments, unless it's 2-3 weeks out. The vet did come by my Mom's house to see about a growth behind his ear, due to his size. Given drops for the growth..it has now absessed...spoke to the receptionist 3 times and left messages..Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday..he's finally getting back today☹☹. Dr. June, I will be transferring my business to someone who is as compassionate about my animals as I am. I know it's only 6 cats and one dog, between Mom and I..but this burns😖😖

Dr. June came highly recommended when we moved here, and I was very impressed with her and her care of my senior dog, who has quite a medical history. The three times I was there, twice with her and once with Dr. Longmire, I was satisfied with the care given my dog.However, this time when I called for an appointment because my dog was having some problems, it was 8 days before I could get in, and then it was to be a "drop off". I didn't understand why it would be so long, but figured one of the vets must be out of town or something. My dog developed some new symptoms in the meantime, and when they called two days in advance to confirm, I asked why it had to be a "drop off". I was told he didn't have any appointments open for two weeks, and this would be the only way to see my dog.I found this very upsetting. First, when my dog has a problem, I've never had to wait 8 days to be seen. Secondly, I do not understand how the vet even knows what to look for without speaking with me and getting information. Thirdly, I want to know what is causing the problem, and what our options are, especially since she is 13 years old, and this could be the beginning of the end for her. How can this occur without meeting with me?I contacted another veterinarian's office who could see my dog, even as a new patient, the following day. When I called Animal Hospital of Stuarts Draft to cancel the "drop off", and asked them to fax the records to the new vet's office, no one even asked why. I still think Dr. June is wonderful, but I am upset over the delay in care and seeming lack of concern for my furbaby.

Took my puppy there to be spayed. Spoke to tech at drop off about heartworm meds and quoted a price. Was told my puppy would be ready at about 2 to 2:30. Got a voice mail stating that the Dr. change heartworm med and pick up would be between 3 and 3: 30. When I get there to pick up my puppy the receptionist has a attitude and has no idea about the change. So when a different tech brings me my puppy- she has no idea. And the other tech has left for lunch. The pain meds just say" give in evening" well I am picking her up at 3:30.So when do I give these. The reception ist says " I dont know" . " About bedtime I guess" . Instead of asking the tech. VERY UNHAPPY

Was there with a friend to see what was going on with her dog and we waited for over an hour. Nobody talked to us to say what was the problem or what was going on. Finally, after cat patients left with their humans, we were asked to reschedule till tomorrow due to a emergency in the back. Not that they would have known or cared, but I drove two hours on a friend's request to make sure her dog was ok.I feel that they didn't have good customer service because they made us sit for an hour before they even asked us to reschedule. I have never been to a vet that I had an appointment and was turned away because of an emergency in the back. I worked at a veterinarian office and we always saw our patients that were scheduled and we let them know that there was an emergency and gave them a choice to wait or reschedule before they sat for an hour! That would have been unacceptable! Don't know the doctors at this vet, but I wouldn't bring my dog there!

Visited for the first time Oct 20, 2018 and requested a full vaccination for my three year old dog for the explicit purpose of taking him to their Purr-Fect Pets Grooming facility next door, to safely be groomed. The vet was late to our early morning appointment, talked most of the time and barely examed my dog, even though I was charged for a routine visit. It turns out the Vet did NOT give my dog the Kennel Cough/Bordetella Vaccine, even though I said I wanted all vaccines needed so my Dog could go to the groomer safely. I also asked him to look at a persistent ear problem my dog has, and he said there were no signs and his ears were perfect.Purr-Fect Pets Grooming also said after this visit that my dog had all vaccinations needed and was good to go. Fast forward ten days and the local SPCA called me while Neutering my dog to say his one ear looked really bad and clearly had an issue that had been there for a while. Now fast forward to late November 2018, when my dog contracts KENNEL COUGH at Purr-Fect Pets Grooming. As a pet owner, I asked for what my dog needed, preventitive health care and a full range of vaccines. I should not have to be the one to inform the vet of what that means and what he should be recommending to patients. This is neglectful on the part of both of these businesses for 1. Not Requiring the Bordetella Vaccine, 2. Not Informing Patients of what it is and why it is important, 3. Not Providing it when the pet owner REQUESTS FULL VACCINE PROTECTIONS, 4. Not pointing out that the vaccine set given did not include this important vaccine.I am so disappointed and irritated by this completely preventable situation. I called the vets office and explained all of this, and I truly hope they start putting the needs of pets first, which should be the entire reason these places exist.

I have been taking my animals to the Animal Hospital of Stuarts Draft for over 10 years. I love the friendly staff, the way they take care of your animals. They are amazing! I would recommend them to anyone.

Great place, excellent service. You must omit your emotions when you attend a medical facility of any type human or animal. My pet was cared for lovingly, examined as I requested and treated properly. These people don't deserve negative comments. Too much social media I assume is to blame. 5 stars. Thank you Dr Longmire. We started taking our pets here many years ago. We have seen a definite decline in the personal service we received but continued to go there out of loyalty and habit. We continued to hear more complaints throughout the community but didn’t have enough sense to find another vet, despite several disappointing diagnosis and visits. But this time has pissed me off enough to switch and warn others. We have brought our Bassett here for 4 years and recently brought her in to find the cause of a labored breathing problem. The first visit she was given allergy tabs and dismissed. When I brought her back they at least did X-rays and a scope and diagnosed laryngitis. As her condition worsened I called back. One wouldn’t come to the phone and the other offered no new help. He was going to call “but forgot”. I was forced to try somewhere else, cedar crest. The day after I took her in there she was bleeding out of her mouth and stool and started to stumble. I frantically called both vets, at 4:00 pm. I was told by Dr Cohrons receptionist that they may be able to see me around quarter till 6:00. Really?!? I called Cedar crest who told me to rush her in. Dr cohrons is literally 2 minutes away. Cedar crest is 13. Abby died in my arms right after I got to cedar crest but was unable to resuscitate because it had been over 3 minutes. Do the math. They may have been cold, unfeeling and dismissed me and Abby but they will never be so horrible to another of my pets.
