The overworked persons that work st Walgreens in Strasburg are ridiculously pleasant.While knowledgeable and helpful, they're very calm and explanatory even when jerks are yelling at them for something beyond their control. I love this location and wish people would give these professionals the respect they deserve.

I had a very disappointing experience this past weekend. Disappointing enough that I've transferred all prescriptions elsewhere. My daughter had a prescription sent during an evening clinic, and it was fairly urgent as she was in active pain. The next morning I call the pharmacy and they tell me they have to call the doctor because the "instructions are unclear." They also suggest I myself call the doctor and leave a VM for them to call the pharmacy back on Monday. As if that's my job when *you* need the clarification? Anyway, because this pharmacy doesn't have comprehension skills, I was stuck with waiting at least another day and watching my daughter be in pain. I opted to call them back and ask to transfer the prescription, to which their immediate response was "the other pharmacy will have to call the doctor too". That was incredibly unprofessional and borderline rude. That's not what I asked. So I call CVS, have the prescription transferred to them, and guess what? I have it filled within an hour. No extra verification needed. So not only was the Walgreens representative I talked to on Sunday in the morning and afternoon (same lady both times) wrong herself, she was rude to me for no reason. Definitely won't be going back to that pharmacy in the future. I always had issues with them delaying my meds that I'd had scripts for for months anyway because they were always either out or "needed verification".Don't go here. Save yourself the stress and go to CVS or the Strasburg Pharmacy.

I don't understand the point of being closed for a "meal break" when there's a 6 person line and only one pharmacist working both the inside and drive through and giving flu shots while her co worker tech is at lunch after waiting for them to open back up.The tech who slowly meandered back up to the pharmacy didn't seem bothered at all by the line and jokingly said "I had tuh sterp an git sum m&erms when i saw this line" she was very rude as if it were the only place she holds any authority. Also the prices of medications insane to what I usually have filled at a Walmart pharmacy. Thought I was saving time using them as opposed to driving all the way to my primary pharmacy but spent just about the same amount of not more waiting and cost more to even after using GoodRX discount. 1/5 would not recommend

Never had any problems here. After I started a new medication the pharmacist called me a few days later to check and make sure everything was going well and there were no side effects. I've never had a pharmacy put that much care into their customer service. Always a quick checkout and always get my prescription filled quickly as well. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes even when quoted a longer time. Very happy with this location.

Staff is very nice but that's where it stops. Past 3 time sensitive prescriptions have been called in by the doctors offices, gone there to pick it up after a minimum hour waiting to allow time for filling. I've got to pick it up, told it's not ready yet and it would be ready in an hour and to come back only to be told they are out of stock. 3 different meds, 3 different times, same experience. Strasburg pharmacy is constantly stepping in to save the day. Moving prescriptions permanently starting now. The reduced hours are less of an inconvenience than what I've experienced at Walgreens

Absolutely awful people in the pharmacy. It is the same pharmacist when they were Rite Aid. My husband had oral surgery and they prescribed him liquid pain reliever, the pharmacist wanted to know why it was liquid. Mind you asked in a very negative tone. I left went to Strasburg pharmacy no problem! So my husband broke his hand last night and I thought since Walgreens I will try again. NOPE! They prescribed him pain medication obviously because he broke his hand. I went and was told there is one person in front of you it will be 45 minutes. 45 minutes for one prescription with one person in front of me. I said I can't wait 45 minutes he is in severe pain. I was told I am sorry we still have to go through the proper protocols. What?????? What protocols, you have his insurance information and it is an obvious legit prescription from the hospital. Left after saying a few choice words and came to Strasburg Pharmacy. In and out within the 5 minutes it took me to make his doctors appt with an orthopedic. Walgreens you are a corporate pharmacy and there is no reason why a 45 minute wait should be acceptable. Plus your pharmacist needs to stop treating or insinuating people are drug addicts as people break bones or have surgeries that need pain medication. Grow up, look at people as individuals or change your profession.

Poorly managed. They enter a prescription in their system in front of us, while we watch, and then tell us it will be ready in 24 hours. We go back 4 days later and they claim prescription not in the system, never was and they enter it again. Just one of MANY such occurances my wife and I have experienced here.I'm sure the individuals who work here are nice and mean well, but it's a poorly run shop.

This Walgreens location has provided great customer service to me and my family for years. The staff have always been friendly, and accommodating. I receive reminders about my medication. They are always willing to answer any questions i have, and address any concerns.

I would give negative stars if I could. Worst pharmacy in the area. Received a text that my prescription was ready. Went to pick it up and the whole store including drive thru is closed. Online and on phone recording stated they were open. I'm out of my medicine and can't get it filled elsewhere. I'm basically screwed. I have no idea when they are reopening.

I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely the worst pharmacy of Walgreens I've ever seen. I can see y they had only 1 star. Horrible pharmacy staff. The worst. Don't go here. They don't care about you or anything to help you.

It's rare to actually get through to someone in the pharmacy. They also only do Pfizer vaccines here.
