This place is by far the best. I’ve been bringing my dog Juno here since they first opened. They were the only ones to get her deshedded and taken care of. She’s a husky and is a very anxious dog and I am forever grateful for Shaggy’s taking care of her! I now travel from North Carolina whenever I can to get her and my golden retriever groomed because they are the only ones I trust!! And the prices are super reasonable.

I took my boarder collie in for a shampoo, blow dry, and toenail clip and it was a wonderful experience. She’s an 11 year old farm dog who spends most of the day outside and has never been to a groomer before, but Kenzy made sure she was comfortable and came out looking amazing! They texted me as soon as she was finished so I could go pick her up. A great experience, will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone looking for a great groomer!

the pet salon in front royal is much better. the deshedding package doesn’t deshed them whatsoever. our dog came back shedding more than when she left and she was still damp. it all feels very rushed.

Simply THE BEST groomer in the area. Don't even consider going to one of those big strip mall pet companies. Shaggy's made our little Cheyenne feel so comfortable, loved, and right at home. Very competitive pricing, a wide variety of packages, and most importantly super talented technicians who really care for your fur baby! Would definitely recommend!

I have a deaf Aussie mix who is hard to groom. I asked Shaggy's if they would be able to groom him. They said yes and boy did they do an amazing job! I highly recommend Shaggy's Pet Salon.

I have an 11 month old standard poodle and we’ve tried 2 other salons several times for his cuts and recently we were recommended to try Shaggy’s. This is by far the best cut that my dog has gotten. He looks amazing! Very fair pricing and very friendly staff. We have officially found our forever groomer.

Great experience for my husky. No pet grooming locations would take my husky for her breed. When we reached out they were more than willing to take her in. And in about 2hrs she was done and a much happier less floofy mess. Will definitely go back.

Gave my dog a bath (which I could have done at home for free) but were unable to properly groom him or trim his nails because they couldn't manage him. They suggested I sedate him for grooming! Really? No. He just needs a professional groomer that can manage a dog that doesn't like grooming. Surely he's not the only dog in town that hates bath time. I'll keep shopping and asking friends for referrals. This one was a waste of time. I was told that she was willing to continue grooming him..... wait..... what? You DIDN'T groom him, it was just a bath. I'm not willing to lower my standards just to support local business. If you're not up to par, you're not in my contacts.

As a small Yorkshire Terrier breeder was told they couldn't groom my 3 girls to go to another groomer I had done my research and Shaggy's had been recommended to me by a couple of people I don't like to be told by any groomer they can't take new clients that they are too busy I can wait even a couple of weeks or make appointments way ahead of time I have never refused service to anyone unless there is a real reason no one is too busy or turned away 100% satisfaction is always my goal there is always a way if you try
