It's a good store with friendly people. I've been shopping here for years. I only recommend not buying products labeled Food Lion. Unless it's from this store specifically, such as the bakery. Easy to achieve, as they carry many other brands. Food Lion is the worst quality food product label in the food industry, in my opinion.

This place is awesome. I've always loved Food Lion, except for when I used to work there, haha. I love that they carry Kuii drinks and sushi!

There's a bald front end manager I think who was nice enough to return a charger cord I bought, but noticed it had the wrong end when I went to plugged it up, being young and returning stuff nowadays is the usual they are stealing and on drugs look. Didn't receive any treatment of the sort, he even told me that's the newer version of the cable and was very nice about the altercation. Thank you very much Mr.Bald manager front end guy!P.s I didn't have the receipt,but on God I paid for it (20$!!)

Food Lion is the best place to shop for groceries. The people who work here are helpful and very nice. I've known some of them for many years. The different departments are well managed and well stocked. The isles are wide and there is plenty of room to move around with your cart.I love this grocery store and I'm glad to have it here in Strasburg.

You need to keep the night shift kids in check before they find trouble. Making fun of my wife good thing I stayed home tonight. And on this how can you hire ignorant kids with no respect least you can do is train druggies right!! That's why you don't see Martin's and walmart closing stores. I come in during the day some issues but nothing like this I'll be visiting the manager next time I come in!

My go to grocery store here in the Shenandoah Valley! The store is always clean, well stocked, has friendly cashiers, and a high quality, well priced, fresh meat, deli, and produce department! I don’t bother with getting meat elsewhere at Martins or Walmart because I am sure the meat or poultry is fresher and has the best price here! Keep up the great work Strasburg Food Lion!

so tonight I had to run to Food Lion to get a few things for my son and our dinner, and as I was walking in with him on my hip I had an older man stop and started to stare at us and said “oh wow..” in “awe”. I was trying to be as polite as possible so I said my hellos, and as he still continue to stare at me with this awful weird look, he asked “how old” referring to my baby on my hip, and I replied he just hit a little over a year and still with that same look, he asked “what’s his name?” And I got an awful feeling so I said “im sorry I don’t give his name out to strangers, I apologize!” But then he says “he doesn’t have a name?” and I could tell an obvious mood shift occurred. So I try to end the conversation as quickly as possible and said “I’m sorry I don’t know you, we’re strangers.” And then he said “that’s weird” so I told him as polite as possible to have a great night, and he huffed away saying something I didn’t look at him so I don’t really know where he went after that so, I went in shaking to the counter and talk to a polite lady the situation at hand and that I had a few things to grab but I was worried to go back out to my car. As I went to walk out, management had found me, an older man who was super kind, and he walked me and my baby to my truck, reassuring me I didn’t have to rush and I was safe. He waiting until I was done putting my baby in his carseat and grabbing the groceries, also with my ditziness I was so disoriented because of what happened, and he was completely patient and kind the entire time. I’m glad these people were there to help me feel safe along with knowing my child was safe, it was one of the gestures in life that I know is common curiosity, but it doesn’t happen much anymore and they took their time to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. I don’t know the names, again I was highly disoriented so I didn’t quite pay attention. But my goodness may great things come to them. Thank you. ♥️

love food lion. I recommend opening an mvp card. it’s completely free and you save SO much. if you have the FoodLion app, it’ll tell you have much you save per year with your membership. super cool. just sucks that their rotisserie chickens are always dry LOL

This Food Lion has great staff, is kept very clean and is typically well stocked even during this period of COVID-19. It's always a pleasant experience to shop here and I rarely even have to wait behind one customer at the check-out (I do typically shop during the week). This appears to be a well managed store.

A medium-size Food Lion, clean, uncluttered, and well staffed. With the best selection (for any area grocery store) of the freshest greens and other produce. Wide selection fresh fish and meats. Rare to not find something I need. Or to discover better, less costly alternatives. Always exit surprised at reasonable total charged. Never more than a 5-minute wait at checkout.

You know what, it's a Food Lion, just a grocery store, but the service I received while waiting in line for a checkout lane was pretty awesome. Just standing there, an employee looked over, offered me an open self checkout lane, and when I mentioned needing a free MVP card, she directed me to a free quick sign up machine to speed up my day. I wish I remembered her name, next time I'm in the store I will be sure to mention it to her manager. She didn't have to speak to me kindly, she didn't have to offer me services, she wasn't even managing my line! That's the kind of customer service that you never expect.This is also the mythical location of the last 2 bags of gluten free Schneider's buffalo pretzels, Christmas 2021.

Make sure if you profile someone because of the way they look be sure they aren’t a manger from another company. I’ve had it every time the two old lady’s have a problem at self check out. next time I’m going to the top I’m sick of it. My long hair my younger age has nothing to do with who I am as a person I’ve managed a store going on 5 years If they were my employees they would of faced consequences the first time.The one employees name is PEARL and the other old lady was guilty today not a good image for foodlion that much I know. 200 dollars a week is what I spend here it makes me sick.

This grocery store experienced a major renovation earlier this year, and it is just stunning! Beautiful. Clean. Spacious. Welcoming. Plenty o' variety. Random staff members I bumped into were super friendly! Way to go, Food Lion.

Great place to shop! Very close to the homestead so i can always grab a few things and go. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Great selection of fresh produce and always fresh flowers for my lady friend! My only concern is the shelves are always near empty of my favorite items. Reminds me of the old Krogers in my hometown when i was little. That is a good thing! I recommend this market to any newcomer of the North Virginia area!

Each time I've bought cottage cheese at Food Lion there has been something wrong with it. I don't know if it's mishandled but the same brands at Walmart taste much better and have better texture.They've raised gallons of distilled H20 to $1.79 while most other stores have kept it to $1.09 or so. that's rapacious, in my view. Other than that, they're ok..

Went to strausburg food lion for somewhere different. Havent been a food lion since I lived in Tennessee/ Kentucky area 40 some years agoIt's a nice store everything laid out nice. Meat looks very fresh and displayed great. Yogurt has little cattle shoots like to keep them in place. Found my Bia water there not at Martins plus other waters I'll have to try being a dietabetic it's nice for something different then plain water. I wish front Royal had a food lion. Strausburg isn't far but hot days cant buy frzn. Still over all I was very impressed with the store and cashier who was pleasant and very nice. Smiled alot and thanked us.

Solid for a Food Lion. Good beer selection for a grocery. Moderate wine selection. Lots of pork, chicken, ham. Beef selection is adequate. Solid produce. Good cheese selection for a store if this size. Deli meats are good quality with average variety. Never been disappointed for a quick stop near the highway.
