Tammy and her team have been doing an amazing job of taking care of my 2 Rottweilers since they were puppies. One has developed epilepsy over the years. They have no problem caring for him and administering his meds. It means a lot to have a place we can trust to care for our pets when we are away. Thanks to you all.

If I could give Creature Comfort 6 stars I would! They take such good care of our two large dogs. We have been taking our dogs here for over 4 years. We pass a lot of other kennels along the way during our 60 mile drive to drop off our babies, but we know they are in the best hands while we are away.

Creature Comfort Inn is 1.5 hours away from us and WELL worth the trip to leave our dog. We have boarded our dog with them twice now. When we picked up our dog this time, the owner took the time to note minor behavior differences she saw in our pup between his first and second boarding. The Inn offers many services for the dogs each day for an additional fee (group play, snuggle time, extra walks, etc) that we plan to take advantage of next time! You can tell these folks love the pups they care for.

Great place to board your pet! I left my Labrador with them for 5 days while on vacation and they took very good care of him. I would not hesitate at all to use them again if needed. Thanks again!

Large property in a country setting. great area for my dog to run! They took wonderful care of my dog during the week he was boarded there. they provide a lot of services. Kennels were clean, and a good size. Will be returning with Boo for daycare and training!

I have gone back and forth on posting this review.. however I feel that people should know how my dog was treated here...I scoured the internet for a place to take our ST. Bernard to while we gone for approximately 11 days to the beach. Let me preface this by saying I scoured because I know he is not great on a leash and he is very stubborn, as in if he wants to go check something out he will try to check it out so you have to be pretty strong to keep him from taking off. He is also a vocal dog as most Saints are. He has never shown or had any aggressive behaviors when we have been with him. All of these things I was very specific about when I talked with Tammy about him on the phone. I was assured they "could handle him" I dropped him off and everything was OK I would say, the ladies were quite short and wanted him taken back to the kennel area very quickly. The guy was very personable though. I again reiterated that Sulley was vocal and it sometimes made him appear aggressive,just because of his size honestly. I called to check on him the 2nd night he was there and qas told that he was eating and drinking but that they couldn't really do much with him(we had signed up for the additional playtimes) because he was barking at them and being aggressive. I told them that was very out of character that he would bark, but wasn't aggressive. Fast forward to pick up. We got there the owner was very rude, very short with us. The other trainer brought him out on a slip lead and he was incredibly dirty and was scared to death when he came around the corner of the fence. To the point that it took him almost 30 seconds to realize who we were. His entire underside and legs were soaking wet, which I thought was very strange. We got home and I emailed the owners because I qas curious why he was so wet and to inform them that his entire underside was matted beyond combing. He would need to be shaved to get them out. I was told they weren't able to take him outside to go potty so they let him go in his kennel and then sprayed him off with the water hose. Are you kidding me??!! They stated he qas too aggressive for them to take outside. So if your dog is difficult please don't take him here!

This is the absolute best place to board or train your animals. They take wonderful care of our doggo while we are away. Staff is knowledgeable, kind, and caring, and wonderful to work with. We also went here for training and it was so beneficial.

These people know a lot about dogs, and take great care of them. They are very conscientious about food, exercise, and safety, and the quarters for the dogs are well-designed and clean. They also provide excellent dog training services. I would recommend them without qualification, and I expect anyone who has boarded a dog or cat there would do the same.

Only place I trust to take care of my 3 GSDs when I am away. Lots of activities to choose from to help keep my dogs well exercised, socialized and happy. When I pick them up they are happy to see me, but usually head back inside as if to say they want to stay a little longer.

I have been bringing my dog here for years and the services have been great. The facility is nice and clean and smell isn't dense like many other dog hotels. The owners really understand how to handle dogs so I have a lot of trust to allow them to handle my dog.

I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience the board and train program has been for my granddog. I brought an untrained, unmanageable dog to this facility and with 3 weeks of dedicated training and tons of patience, I got back a well behaved, happy, disciplined dog. While my son was deployed and this dog was in my care we could hike, attend public events and camp without worrying about behavioral issues. Tammy is patient, persistent and diligent in her efforts to continue her education as a trainer. While my son’s deployment has ended and he’s reunited with his dog, I still frequent this facility. I have a dachshund that’s skittish about nail trims. Tammy will make time to do this for him, and he’s come very far in his tolerance of those nail trims. When I’d bring my granddog to visit Tammy he would smile for her, he doesn’t do that for everyone! To both dogs, visits here are a treat and they hop right in the car when it’s time to go there. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

Highly recommended for your pets. Their only 1-star rating came from individual that only gives 1-star ratings to all businesses. Suggest that you try it with a tour of the facilities. We have used them for many years with NO negatives. Well worth our 1 hour drop-off trip.

Creature Comfort was happy to take our our three cats (Dobby, Padfoot, and Crookshanks). They were extremely recommended in the community and I had no hesitation to board our cats for an extended amount of time. I was extremely happy with the response that I received because the bag of food that we purchased had moth larvae. I told them that I would bring an appropriate bag, but unfortunately my mother passed away, our cats are luckily enough and can eat anything and they used the food provided by Creature Comfort. We visited even during my devastating time and they were ok, but after that my visits were limited because of mother’s death and details that needed to be sorted out and we bought a house. One of our cats lost 10 pounds in the care of Creature Comfort. I was never informed that my cat was in distress or loss of weight by Creature Comfort even after I had guaranteed 200 dollars to pay for vet bills. The other two cats gained 10 pounds each. I only wished that Creature Comfort would have had more care for the pets in there care to realize the extreme loss of weight in animals under there care.

My dog Buddha, a 100 pound German Shepherd was booked and I hesitantly planned for a 3 week board and train which I found out about through a woman running her German Shepherd at Burke Lake.I felt like I was going to have a panic attack when I walked through the gate, careful to avoid crying before the staff even met me. Buddha somehow knew what was coming and kept pulling to go back the car. He’s never been away from me and I felt like I did when my daughter had to do forced visits with her father and I had no control over what happened to her and what she did. They limited her phone access too so needless to say, thinking about my dog lying in a kennel most of the day made me very, very anxious.Tammy, the center trainer, proceeded to take Buddha back insisting we our goodbyes (for good reason) right then, since it will only get harder.I did let go, paid the 2200 and some change and scanned the office. Clean and decorated perfectly. Music was playing in the room with the closed door and my baby was already in it.I left to go home, feeling like someone had carved a crater into my stomach!Tammy assured me he would be fine and posted video clips including one where she was being yanked around- but that didn’t last. Quite quickly Buddha knew who was the boss.I must have checked my phone a hundred times to see if Tammy had visited Buddha yet. I sat on the edge of my bed feeling such uneasiness I didn’t know what to do! Go back? Wait longer? The idea behind board and train is a sound one- I thought it would be good for our puppy and I think Tammy did too. This is not a review about her gifts and training or how she does it.It IS about a lack of concern and compassion when, after three days, I decided to pick Buddha up since I realized I needed to be part of everything he needs to learn.Tammy wasn’t there when I arrived. Three days of constant Facebook checking for anything new; agitation with worry about whether or not he thought I abandoned him.I couldn’t take it anymore and got increasingly worried he is such a loving dog. Warm and big and fast and strong. I know Tammy may have helped us if I agreed to let him stay. But In my emotional distress (I’m a psychologist BTW) there was no way he was going to.When I got there with my daughter to pick him up, he crashed through the door and lept up to greet us. The gal at the frost desk was pretty mellow.We drove home relieved and calm again.The next day I got online and emailed Tammy- requesting a refund or at least part of one.Tammy never acknowledged the emails and has still not responded. Surely it’s not right to keep 2200 plus when Buddha only stayed 3.5 days.In the world of business sure there are rules. But in my world the customer comes first- and in this case I’m dead last.

This was our dogs first stay here, and they seemed to love it. I was impressed by the attention the dogs got, as well as how clean and well cared for the facility amygdala ground are. Will definitely board our dogs here again.

Don’t. Just don’t. Find a trainer and don’t leave your dog here. My dog was traumatized. I took him out after a day and a half! I begged for a refund and it was like asking for a miracle. None given. I’m sure it works for some and I had heard good things, but we had a terrible experience.

This is the only place we will leave our dog, Jax. They offer a variety of services: Play groups, grooming services and walks. Jax feels very comfortable here and we feel comfortable leaving him.

Creature Comfort Inn was 100% , A++, Perfect for 2 GSDs and 1 Sweet Beagle. It is always this way and I have been using them for at least 9 years.
