DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! As a favor, I picked up a close friend’s dog yesterday. The dog immediately went to the bathroom as I left the place. I was supposed to leave the dog at my friend’s apartment, but the dog was hyperventilating and I did not feel comfortable leaving the dog alone. I took the dog outside and I have never seen a dog pee so much in my life. I grew up with big dogs and I used to live with my friend’s dog. Within the next 3 hours, the dog needed to go to the bathroom 2 more time. It had appeared that they did NOT take the dog out at all that day. The dog was still hyperventilating after all those potty breaks.I checked her pick up bag to see if she had any food left. She had over half the food my friend sent which indicates THEY DID NOT FEED THE DOG FOR SEVERAL DAYS. The dog was so hungry after I fed her that she was licking the crumbs on the floor. I am very familiar with this dog and that is an abnormal behavior.I am extremely displeased with the dog’s experience. We are still monitoring her for health issues. Based on her behavior and the smell of the boarding facility, it appears she was kept in a cage without food and potty breaks.I have read other reviews that have mentioned this and the place just smells like the pets are sitting in feces all day.UPDATE: I saw the owner responded about the extra the food. I double checked the messages to my friend at the time. I asked how many bags the dog was sent with. After doing the math with the food left over and taking into account extra bags, the dog missed about half her meals. Also responding to the medical advice, I have watched the dog on several occasions and I have never seen the dog act like this. My friend has taken the dog to the vet in the past and this is not related to health issues. The facility did call my friend day of to let her know they did not take the dog out the last day. Honestly, this facility is grossly neglect with dogs….

After being employed at Dulles Pet Hotel & Daycare for roughly 3 years, I wish I had all positive things to say. However, in my time working for this company, I quickly gained a love and care for every single pet that had entered the facility. I even made lifelong connections with certain clients. During my time while working for this company, I quickly came to the realization that employees (like myself and others) were not being treated fairly, not being treated with kindness, and my own personal information was not being kept private. Most importantly, while working for this company, it was clear that the environment of where the pets were staying were unsafe, unsanitary, and the conditions strictly depended on who was scheduled to work. There are many broken/damaged boarding runs that may or may not have been fixed, boarding runs that are rusting, some have screws/pipes/sharp objects sticking out, drains where debris from urine and feces go are not properly sanitized, and there are many attempted fixes on boarding runs using items such as duct tape, zip ties, and cut in half PVC pipes. There have been multiple occasions where the AC or Heating would be broken for multiple days in weather conditions when it was needed. There had also been other occasions where the dryer for laundry had caught on fire and was not fixed. There had been maggots, flies, and fruit flies found in soiled bedding for dogs, and the list goes on.In my time working there, I had such great relationships with pets as well as clients. This being said, the thoughts of what Dulles Pet Hotel & Daycare would be like without me and a select few other employees who are leaving or have already left, is why it was much harder for me to leave after so long.I personally would not bring my pet to this facility, and highly recommend owners to take their fur babies elsewhere.

I had used Dulles Pet Hotel for years and always had a great experience. Somehow after my dogs most recent visit, he returned to me acting strange. He was treating his one foot gingerly and was very mopey and lathergic. I assumed he was just moody from being in the kennel for a few days. After taking him for a run the next day as I always do, I realized he was limping. I dropped off a perfectly healthy dog and got back a limping dog. Nobody at the Pet Hotel had any idea how this happened despite them supposedly providing 3 individual play times each day. They offered a courtesy exam but I was very dissatisfied with the doctor's approach on several aspects. The biggest issue is he insinuated the staff told him my dog regularly jumped against the cages and he probably hurt himself that way. I asked why nobody had ever mentioned this behavior to me before. He said, well not specifically your dog but some dogs. Which was not at all how he framed it at first.Furthermore, upon attempting to investigate the issue with management, I was informed of some issue with something from a previous stay months ago where something was going on with his nails. Nobody had ever communicated this issue to me.Bottom line after years of what I thought was good care of my beloved pet, I have lost any trust in this business caring for my dog. I will never return to this place after this experience!

We've taken our two beagles here twice now! The staff is friendly! The place is clean and bright! They were allowed to kennel together! There was no problem giving meds to one who has a chronic condition. We asked for both group and individual playtime. The second time we took them there one dog was a little grumpy with the playgroup and they were quick to call to advise and we changed to more individual play! They enjoyed their vacation and were happy and chipper! They have groomers if you would like to have them pampered! They came home smelling great! They have a nice play area outside! The owner is our veterinary Dr. Easton, who is awesome! I highly recommend this daycare/hotel!

Worst worst WORST place to bring your pet. First off my dogs were told they would get two group times one for each day of board. They didn’t get either one. When the kid came out to pick up the dogs they threw on the leashes and dragged them inside. Didn’t say hi or ask which one was which or anything. Not friendly and made me worried about leaving them there. ( one of my dogs is a 5 month old puppy) he said he would give them a potty break as an add in. WHAT? They don’t normally get a potty break? When we went to get them picked up they said they were “ too busy” to get their group time. When they handed us the dogs they just threw the leashes at us and forgot the bag I brought with them and had to go find it. The minute the dogs got outside they both peed for what seemed 5 mins straight as if they hadn’t been able to. When I asked to speak to the manager they said to write down my name and number and he would call back. A few hours later that same kid calls back and said the owner was too busy to talk to me and that he said I could get a free group time next time we brought them back. I said “oh we won’t be coming back!” This was so awful. Our oldest dog has been to many many facilities and have had great experiences. We were able to see them on camera and would get check ins. This place has me wondering what happened to them. Makes me so sad I cried on the way home. Please, if you love your pets don’t bring them here!!

A great pet hotel with decent prices for the area. Our dog always comes home absolutely exhausted from all the fun he’s had running around when we are gone. One thing to note is that you have to call when you get to the door and they come out to get the dog. They keep the doors locked so there is no access to the lobby.

If you love your pets, DO NOT board them with Dulles Pet Hotel. We gave this kennel a shot as our normal boarding facility was full. What a huge mistake. Our dog came home smelling terrible, his bed was lost at first (they didn't know which one was his - even though it has his name on it), and was completely covered in urine and dirt once they found it (stating it just came out of the laundry). The bag we provided with our dogs food and toys was lost, with them saying we don't know which one is yours (even though it is labeled with our name). They simply said, we can't find it, oh and we think your dog ran out of food. So, that's concerning since we packed a couple days extra food. Our dog came home pretty skinny compared to when we left him, and not at all clean. While we could not go in to see the facility due to COVID, we really have to wonder what the inside of the boarding facility looks like. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

What an awesome find! We just moved to VA and had to rely on on-line reviews when looking for a place to board our dog. It is very clear that the employees here love animals and love their jobs. They were extremely professional and friendly. The ladies at the front desk instantly made us feel comfortable and reassured about leaving our dog there for 9 days. When we picked our dog up, we got a frequent boarding card with NO expiration and a free vet examination if we have any concerns in the next 10 days!I highly recommend Dulles Executive Pet Center. I will definitely take our dog here if we should ever have to board him again.

Have had to kennel my three dogs occasionally this year and this is where we go. I really hate to leave them anywhere but after our first few visits the dogs seem happy and comfortable and that is all that matters. (A super special thanks to Dr. Eastin for taking such good care of Toby!!) Ohh... and as long as your pets are up to date on their shots and such, the price is right.

I bought my dog here thinking it would be a great place, I was wrong . By the time I picked him up after vacation, he looked like he had been starved. I asked them why and they told me he wasn’t eating. Thats when you call me?? His tail was down and he did not seem in good spirits, like he usually is. He’s a very happy healthy dog and I was out of my mind when I saw him shaking when I picked him up. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. Poor service and they really need to reconsider all management.

We have been using Dulles Executive pet center for our cocker spaniel and hound/shepherd mix for the last two years. We board them about once a quarter, so total 4 - 5 times/year. We have always had positive experiences. The dogs have never shown any injury or undue stress when they have been picked up. I like the option to have them board together in the same kennel. It saves us a little money and I like knowing they are keeping each other company. We have used the grooming services for a furminator treatment for the hound/shepherd and have always been satisfied. Good communication and great customer service. Place always smells clean.

We've been boarding our dogs at Dulles Executive Pet Center ever since we got our dogs ~5 years ago. We board our dogs 3-5 times per year with stays between 2-15 days. We have a Chocolate Labrador and a Beagle, both dogs come out of their stays happy and healthy. The facility itself is clean and well secured, which was important for our Houdini like beagle. The kennels are large for their boarding price and they all have the extended indoor run area. The pricing system is a la cart, which is great since they offer a very reasonable base rate and allow you to add on the features you want for your dog. We add on group play times, feeding with our own food, and still come out at a better rate than other kennels we researched. It's not "nickel and diming" it's being customizable! The staff have always been professional and happy to see our animals. At the end of the visit they provide us feedback on how the dogs did, and if there were any concerns. Our beagle used to need to be carried into the kennel airlocks, but now he happily strides off into the kennels!

I don’t know how this place received bad reviews but for me, the Dulles Executive Pet Center has been a literal life saver for my dog. He is a Doberman/black and tan coon hound mix who became unpredictably aggressive at 7/8 months old. We love him and is the sweetest dog to us but does not like guests in our home. We entertain a lot so when we have guests over we had to find a place to send him. Tori and Sarah worked with him to get him comfortable with them. Thank god, due to their hard work, I can send him there for holidays and special occasions. He loves the staff there even if he is sad to leave home. The staff goes beyond to make him happy and I am eternally grateful. Thank god for the Dulles Executive Pet Center!

We have used Dulles Exec since we moved to the area a couple of years ago. Our dog is quite old and the staff is very accommodating to her needs. Everyone there is friendly and professional. They all greet Charlie with enthusiasm making her feel special and welcome. Charlie is not at all hesitant when we drop her off which speaks for the care she has been receiving.

We have been taking our beloved dog here for many years and have been very happy. However recently we were shocked at how awful this place has become. Our Boston Terrier is our child and we love her more then anything, we left specific instructions as we have done many times in the past, that she can not have the leash put on around her neck.We have always brought her harness in the past and instructed the caregivers to use the harness on her instead of putting a leash around her neck due to her breed she cannot be leashed around her neck. This has never been an issue in the past. As it is an additional cost for individual "play time" or walks we know that the leash around her neck will cause injury to her throat.Upon picking her up we were shocked that she had lost so much weight for only being there 10 days. When the care giver brought her out the leash was around her neck and she was choking. I asked where was her harness and the toys I brought for her, which I had put in a bag when we dropped her off. The caregiver could not find it at first, when it was found it was clear that the bag had never been opened and the harness was NEVER used.Once we got her home she coughed endlessly and could not eat or drink, we were heartbroken to see our baby in this condition, we took her to the vet the next day and sure enough her throat was so sore from the choking of the leash.I called Dulles Executive Pet Center and asked to speak to the manager, some kid on the phone was clueless as to who was the Manager. I said I need to speak to whoever is in charge about the condition of my dog. After being placed on hold the kid came back and said there was no one there that was in charge and told me to call back later. I said please give my number to whoever was coming in and have them call me as soon as they come in. I gave the kid my name and phone number. After waiting 2 days I had not received a call. I called back and demanded to speak to the Manager, however yet again the Manager was not available, I told the person I was speaking with the situation and asked if they could get the Manager on the phone. She placed me on hold and came back and told me she explained the situation to the Manager and the Manager told her to tell me that the Manager would call me back within the hour. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK...After 2 weeks of nursing our baby she is doing fine now. We will never ever go back to this place, and I strongly recommend that anyone who reads this to never even consider boarding your pet here. I have no idea how this place has went from a place I would recommend to a place I feel needs to be shut down.

I've been taking my dogs here since I moved to Ashburn and I can honestly say my dogs are always SAFE and always in good spirit when I pick them up which means that they were treated well. I honestly think this is a great place to take your puppies and not have to worry about them. Thank you

This place is HORRIBLE! PLEASE don't bring your dogs here! We were very disappointed with this place 2 years ago when we picked up our dog from boarding and she was in a very bad condition, her hair had poop everywhere and she smelled really bad. We gave this place a second chance today for a simple bath and they did a terrible job. We complained, as she had a humidity smell, and the guy at the desk was really rude he told us that the shampoo they use has the smell of wet dog ????!!!!!!???!!! NEVER coming back!

The owner does not care about your pet. There are heated floors that can be used when the heat in the building breaks (which is weekly) but he refuses to turn it on no matter how cold it gets overnight. Everyone that works there is in HS and are more worried about being on their phone than paying attention to your pet. One supervisor routinely almost killed many pets simply because she refused to do any walk throughs. The cats get zero interaction because the staff brags about their hatred for cats. And all those extra services you pay for, don’t get done. The dogs are bathed in ice water. Despite the fact that the owner claims the water will get warm after a few minutes (surprise! It doesn’t). The owner also threatens to fire staff if they talk about the supernatural, even on Halloween. But will refuse to fire a staff member if they threaten another staff member or abuse/neglect/nearly kill one of your pets. Oh And the icing on the cake is when he called a staff member (who was a POC) a “n***er” in front of the rest of the staff and paid them not to report it. Do yourself a favor and find a sitter on WAG or ROVER. This place gets -10000 stars.

They are always able to accommodate our pets and our pets are excited to go there and always come home happy. Only thing that we wish was that there were cameras, either in our pets’ room or in the play area so that we could see them while we are away from them.

I would not ever bring my dog back there. It is past nasty. They do not watch your dog like they tel you. I sat outside and watched the one on one process that they are supposed to give dogs and the guy was looking at his phone while the dog walked around. My dog looked like he lost weight staying their and they said oh he wouldn’t eat. That’s when you pick up the phone and call me or my emergency contact.!!! Then she was like well we had 165 dogs here. I don’t care hire more people. All I care about is my dog. I would never bring him back. The place smelled so bad and my dog smelled like piss and poop. She said oh he wouldn’t come out of his cage..... this is the worst place to take your dog. Need to put in a hidden camera.
