Akina was a godsend for helping us take care of our dog. Sally had serious heart disease, and keeping her healthy required an extraordinary amount of care. She was on many medications, and keeping track of them all was a challenge. Akina’s system was so efficient, and a huge help to staying on top of Sally’s prescriptions. When I had a question or concern, their personal customer service was efficient, warm and caring. We lost Sally one week ago, and Akina was equally efficient and caring in cancelling her prescriptions. I would give Akina 20 stars. Thank you.

I have a cat with serious heart conditions and I did not expect anyy improvements from medications. Luckily after my cardiologist prescribed Akina pharmacy medication it improved my cat heart muscle functions and now it is looking much more optimistic. My dog’s cardiologist recommended this company for her compounded meds. I had used another company previously but had no connection to either company. Since Akina was local, that was a plus in case I needed to pick anything up. Akina worked out great as their compounded drug for my dog was a very tiny pill, as opposed to a very large one from the other company and since my dog has only about 6 teeth, the small size was definitely a plus. My phone contacts with them were pleasant and professional, and they had my dog’s meds compounded and shipped quickly. Will definitely use them in the future.

My Lala was diagnosed with a heart murmur and there were lots of questions and concerns I had and can't thank the team enough for all their patience and time to answer my questions and being so thorough with me. Lala was taken care by Dr. Lilian Shen and she is the most gentle soul and so professional. I felt so lucky to have her and her female two assistants. My Lala is usually traumatized by any kind of Vet or medical experiences like this but honestly, she really took it so well that it's just a reflection of how awesome the women team was. My dog has a heart condition and Akina has all the medication that I needed to keep my pup in shape. Why not use a whole pill instead of compounding? Will if your dog is small 8lbs and picky, it's not easy to get the correct amount of medication from a pill. Akina can mail or you can pick-up if you live in the surrounding neighborhoods, times are also flexible. Give it a try, they also listen.

What happens when your beloved pet requires emergency care at the local 24-hour ER vet and then is admitted to their cardiac care unit and is requiring specialized medications to support the heart? The staff will facilitate a specialized compounded prescription from Akina!My experience with Akina has been seamless and that is noteworthy because of the very trying and downright heartbreaking circumstances leading to the necessity of using Akina. Obtaining the medication was easy. The medication is customized and compounded specifically for your pet and, in my case, is also distinctive due to being baby blue in color (which, in my case was very helpful because my dog is on multiple medications at different times). It comes in packaging via the mail that is very secure, and I have not had any difficulty ordering a refill. The ease of obtaining this very important medication has allowed me to hone my focus on other tasks.I very rarely review places but thought I would do so here to alleviate any fears or concerns you might have should your vet send prescriptions for specialized medications at Akina. This pharmacy has been fantastic, professional, efficient and easy--all important when you have a pet in crises!
