It is completely self checkout here. Plenty of workers and no lines open except for self checkout. The larger self checkouts are only for shoppers with some card or app, so all my extra bags ended up on the floor because the smaller self checkouts could not hold larger purchasesThere is no customer service at all.Walmart no longer offers good deals and now no longer offers any customer service. I will be switching completely to Target and Amazon

Delores more worried about judging your customers than keeping thieves away. I will go out of my way to take business elsewhere for sure. Won't forget how they put cones up last summer to keep people out of the shade during record breaking heat either. They have people stealing from the store like a charity but are focused on the non-problematic. Hate this place, go local

For the first time in a very long time returning a item was was a pleasant experience. Miriam the customer service representative made this possible. She greatest me.with a smile and was friendly before even speaking. It was fast and made the experience much more pleasant. So please Walmart model customer services after this young girl! She should've teaching other employees their how to be friendly and helpful . Good job Miriam !

Got in line to check out (at the Staunton Wal-mart) with cashiers light on because all self checkouts were full or not open. Stood there a couple of minutes (one person in front of me) and then was told by a very rude employee that the line was closing and I would have to go to another line. I said, “you have to be kidding.” The employee was very rude and loud and said that they were short of employees and if I wanted to apply for a job and go to work that would be great and scurried away before I could get her name leaving the cashier and the other customer looking alarmed by her response. I am a senior citizen with a handicapped husband which was with me. I ended up walking out with a cart full of groceries sitting there. Went to Food Lion where I was treated with respect.

A nice location. Some members if the management aren't exactly the friendliest, but the general staff is very friendly. The girls working the front, the workers stocking and organizing the shelves, all very friendly. I don't particularly like the new layout in certain areas, but change is generally good, brings in something a bit fresh.

I like walmart, however do NOT like purchasing my groceries in a store that allows pets in the grocery area especially when they have "accidents" in the grocery aisle! That is very nasty. I'll go elsewhere for my food thank you. I'm a dog owner myself. I love animals. I feel it's disgusting to be shopping for my food and lil dogs just pee In the grocery aisle. 🙃

Experience was great in this remodeled Walmart. The only thing I wish was there was more people in there working trying to help the customers. But the rest of my experience was great.

The pharmacist Kelly is great, she's always been on time with helping get the meds I need and at one time she paid for my medicine cause I didn't have enough money to buy them, she definitely deserves a raise!!!

I mean it's Walmart! If you don't know what they offer and about by now then anything I wrote here probably won't make it to the part of the brain that stores knowledge for later reference. Store was just like all walmarts low prices alot of everything. And check yourself out cause they must of fired all the cashiers when the realized they could force shoppers to do it and save even more money!

If you do the grocery pick up be sure to check your produce before you accept it. I've been repeatedly given moldly and rotten fruits and vegetables resulting in another trip back to the store to return it. This is annoying and completely defeats the purpose of doing the pickups.

They are currently finishing their remodel of the store as well as adding space for Online Grocery Pickup. I love the new look and the new way some of the displays are done, but the only thing I don't like is that the isles are smaller and hard to turn around if others are in the same isle. But overall I think it's a great new look, and always love the low prices.

Wow I love Staunton Walmart Super center it’s very clean and super organized I can’t compare it with any other Walmart I live in waynesboro but I rather drive 15 minutes to go to the Staunton Walmart while we have two Walmart in waynesboro lol

We found this Walmart to be a well stocked store, clean and with very helpful staff. We needed a number of Halloween items in addition to our normal shopping and we crossed everything off the list while here.

As over the road trucker's we visit many Walmarts. This location was a breath of fresh air! Clean well organized and a verity of options to choose from. Plenty of self checkout stands. Staff was friendly and actually working stocking and attentive to their responsibility.

It's a thing... Going into Walmart early on Sunday morning to Window Shop.I went to purchase plastic bowls with lids for storing food and sauces. But before I got to the isle they were stored in, I looked around.I'm so used to doing my shopping online. That's it. A 90 no shopping online. I'm going into Walmart, I was seeing some very low prices on everything I looked at.

Fourth of July weekend the store is packed! Looong lines it seems all of Staunton plus some out of towners are in the store. Everyone except for Walmart team members. 🙄However, somehow the store is well stocked and clean.

Had to go to pharmacy. Decided to pick up some Halloween candy while there. Apparently, they're working on or repairing self check out registers. As usual, not enough registers were open. Open register lines were four people deep checking out full shipping carts. Gave up and left. Except for the pharmacy staff I really dislike Walmart.

This Walmart is awful. Just go to Waynesboro. We got in at 2pm and it took an hour to get our fishing license updated. Why? Because the outdoor associate was on break and they had no one to cover. There were 4-5 people waiting in the area. We inquired with numerous associates and they were no help. Finally one walked by with a radio. She attempted to find someone, as well as announced it over the intercom, with no success. She was able to share the person was on break. Then I went to the restroom which was overflowing with trash, nasty stall, and a sink shoots water out at you. So many people stocking but no people cleaning or in the areas that need customer assistance.

Very friendly service, when I went to pay I thought I forgot my credit card at a restaurant and she offered to write it down for me.They have very strict policies when handling electronic merchandise.And they have plug in stations.

1 item out of the whole shopping trip actually rang up the right price. The bathroom was horribly disgusting. Every stall looked like this or worse (too bad to post). Handicap stall is so crooked and tight against the tp dispenser that one cannot reach the tp tucked under/back behind your hip/leg and would be absolutely useless for an actual handicap p3rson to try and sit there.

The store usually runs smoothly now. They obviously made changes after COVID fiasco. I could do without cashier's at Walmart and other stores telling me to have a blessed day.
