I called ahead and asked if a pallet of pressed wood fire bricks was available. The employee checked with manager, who said yes, a pallet was available. I drove 20 miles into town, only to arrive at the store and be told they do not actually have a pallet available after all. They did not even have the grace to apologize. Just placed blame on each other. This is a wasted 40 mile round trip. I have shopped Tractor Supply for years, but the last few years, their customer service has not been that great.

This review is really to shine a light on Dee, who really went out of her way to make my day. She helped me get a product that was no longer in the stock system and did so with such promptness and politeness. I really appreciate the service she gave.

I wanted to purchase a 10 gal metal trash can. Could not find price anywhere. I decided to go ahead and purchase the items I had already chose. I kindly asked the cashier to check the price for me. She could not find it in the book or on the computer. Poor management. Sometimes a manager/area manager has to go above and beyond for a store to be efficient and well run. I truly understand short staffed these days. So I will of course continue to shop there.

I am updating my review after their recent renovation and store updating. It is exponentially better than it used to be with better organization and layout. They now have a larger selection of products and the addition of an outside greenhouse for plants is a plus.My original review:(1☆ Most disorganized and poorly run store I have ever had the displeasure of shopping at.)

My wife & I are Full-time RV'ers and seek out Tractor Supply stores as we travel to feed our 5 dogs. Although we surprised by a 10% price difference since last purchase in Holland, MI 3 weeks ago. The staff were pleasant & helpful. Nice store.

Within the first five minutes of entering the store, I was asked by two different employees if I needed help finding anything. Very friendly and helpful!I used a 10% coupon for my purchase that I received in my email; I would love to see a 20% coupon, and I'd love it if the coupons came more frequently!

I can’t speak for others who seem to have gripes against this store, but I am not one of them. With out going into details that could result in the store getting taken advantage of, just let me say I got far and above what is considered great service. Our cashier, Renee, besides being a pleasure just to talk to, helped us immensely, as did her manager,,whose name I did not get. Anyway, a dumb thing on my part worked out very well. Thank you both. this store is way above the one where we lived until a month ago. We will be back, for sure..

I dont know what's going on at this store, but its a mess. Their inventory is never up to date. They are consistently misstocked. Not even the employees can help you. If you order curb side pickup, they will just cancel items if they don't have them instead of letting you know or offering an alternative.Update:I generally need something from here weekly and rarely do I leave with what I need. Twice this week for 13 different things and only bought 6 items. I drive to Harrisonburg to get what I need.The management Gere clearly can not inventory, train, or really work at all. I consistently have to wait for the employees to stop goofing off and chatting to get help. I literally asked a group of 3 employees for help and one of them turned to me gave me a dirty look and said "one second" and then turned back to finish her BS story about some drama she was having with a friend.Thus place is awful. There is one good helpful employee that I have met there. His name is Matt. He wears a full brim hat, if you see him he's your only chance at getting help and chances are what you need is not stocked anyways.

We tried to order a kids 12v Mack truck for online pickup and the store canceled the order. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, they said they actually did have one left in stock and would hold it for us to pick up same day. We got there 3 hours later and they sold it out from under us and both ladies working were extremely rude about it. Sounds like a staff member wanted it so they bought it. Extremely frustrating now we have to drive 40 minutes to the next one. thanks for trying to ruin our sons 2nd birthday . I will be using another store for all our feed and gardening needs from now on unless I hear from customer service and get an actual explanation and apology.

Was looking to buy a brand new Cub Cadet zero turn mower, I called and ask if they do military discount..Emily answered and said "No" and hung up on me. I guess she does not know why she is free!HOME DEPO treated me awesome that same day when I bought my new Cub Cadet from them.Emily has a great deal in life to learn!!

Mom went in the store today around 1115 the girl running register was on her cell phone 3 different times while mom was trying to talk to her. Mom asked bout getting shavings that we’re outside and ask bout price and girl was rude and stayed I don’t know you have go bring a back in. I for one know better cuz I use to work at one. Mom left everything setting on counter and won’t be back

Awesome.staff , great selection of parts , i needed a half moon pin for a self propelled mower could not find anywhere took a chance went there and boom there it was . They have the odd rarely used parts .

Good selection of stuff for farms and rural life. A little understaffed though, and an inconvenient habit of blocking aisles with pile of merchandise... At least some aisles I need to enter. But overall good assortment of decent products at a reasonable price.

We shop here all the time, so when we had 2 bad experiences in just a matter of days i questioned "why?". We waited outside in 85+ heat for over 25 minutes for someone to unlock the gate to get items we had paid for. Then 3-4 days later we went to the same store where we again paid for our items and had to wait. This time it was over an hour before they found someone to operate the forklift, we waited in the heat. The Staunton store needs some cross training and more customer service training. Not one time were we offered a discount, coupons and not so much as an apology for our wait. We haven't been back since and may not shop there for a while, very disappointed.

This is literally the worst TSC I have ever shopped at. Unfortunately, it’s also the closest to my home now and I keep making the mistake of thinking they might actually have the things I need in stock. The store is completely unorganized and rarely stocked. Empty shelves with random items strewn about on every aisle. Their animal feed selection is also abysmal. I used to love the TSC in my old town but this one is terrible. I will literally ship anywhere else first.

Been there several times and everytime there is one cashier and a 10 min wait to check out. My wife had a return and the the cashier was extremely rude to her. All because my wife asked for help after listening to the cashier complaining about her coworkers for 5 mins. Next save yourself the time and go to lowes and or farm bureau.

Visited this store to purchase some bird seed. There were about 3 people in front of us at check out. Guy in front of us had to look up what he was buying on his own phone since the guy running the register couldn't find the items in his book. No one came up once the line got to be about 6 people waiting. Anyway our time finally came, was overcharged on bird seed and going outside and reviewing the receipt. Had to come back in and once again stand in line to get the charge corrected. Was never contacted about my experience until about 2 weeks later and I don't think the manager/assistant manager really cares about their customers they way they should. Lost me as a customer. Poorly managed. Store is always busy with customers--But shelves are empty of stock. Place resembles more of a badly run Dollar Store. They are short of staff. According to staff--Tractor Supply pays poorly, shorts them hours and doesn't treat them well. Consequently, they have a high turn over. The place needs better management-- considering of the volume of customers that come through the place. If there was an alternative I'd try it. The Tractor Supply store in Lexington seems better stocked and managed.

Not a Tractor Supply I will visit again. I went to purchase a pig feeder on my way back from work. The item was much less at my local COOP.The manager was rude and condescending to me. I left the store and went to the Harrisonburg store. I am always treated with respect at that store. BTW, I spent $13,000 in your store last year.

Let me start by saying I work for Tractor Supply in the past as a manager.That said, this place was a dump. F grade store for those in the biz.floors not swept for at least a week. Safety hazard of cut chain links. Clothing unorganized, not laid out.I know this is not to standard, Andy Wilit would not approve. I have been told this has been a problem store.

Service and cleanliness, orderliness of the store have really gone downhill over the past year. Back aisles have been blocked with "stuff" on my last three visits. They sold me four ten foot t-posts from "the yard" today, then could not find them for load out at the yard gate; apparently none in stock. No "We'll be happy to order them for you" or even any apology.Someone mentioned in another post that an Arez Manager should get involved. To that, I say, "Amen!" If this store doesn't up its game, it'll be a money loser and give all TSC's a bad reputation.

I have been twice now to fill propane tanks. First time only one person was trained on how to fill propane and run the register. Second time the regulator was broken and I wait ten minutes for someone to come and tell me that. Front end had no clue propane was not available.
