Very nice coffee shop!I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop when I came to try it. The overall aesthetic is fantastically cozy with good cafe music playing.I really enjoyed the iced oat latte I ordered, although was a little pricey, so visiting again will have to be a little treat trip.The food looked absolutely delicious but I did not try it myself.I forgot to mention that I really liked the straw; biodegradable but not paper! A major bonus, since paper straws tend to biodegrade straight into my drinks. Nice!!

This is an incredibly cute coffee shop with so much character and very friendly staff. I recommend everyone check this place out if not for the incredible bagels, then for the nice atmosphere of the cafe. I’m not a coffee person but wish I was because it smelled incredible. Again, I highly recommend checking this place out while in town for a quick coffee, tea, pastry, or bagel!

Very friendly, relaxing atmosphere-LOVE the coffee!!Enjoyed an egg and bacon sesame bagel. So much better than your typical fast-food chain breakfast sandwich. You can taste the quality!The location of this coffee shop is so convenient, right across from a parking lot in charming downtown Staunton.Would definitely recommend to start your stroll through the city with a coffee from the By & By

While there can be long waits, that’s only because they’re popular and you’re getting fresh, good food and really good coffee and tea! I get chai lattes at coffee shops 99% of the time and this place is in my top 3. They also have some beers that you don’t usually find in Staunton, and I have friends who come here for lunch for that sole reason.

Wonderful cafe with a small, but amazing beer garden! I had the amazing three-cheese grilled cheese and a latte. The food is not super speedy but is thoughtfully prepared. The selection of beers I like (sours & weisse beers) was small, and I was still sipping on my latte at 2:30 so I didn't grab a beer before they closed at 3. I would definitely come again on another cool day for the food & outdoor seating!

This place is wonderful. My husband got a French press, and I got the “Recess”. I’ve never had a tastier coffee. The food is excellent too. Highly recommend!

We come here nearly every weekend because it’s the best coffee shop/light breakfast or lunch spot in all of Staunton. The coffee is delicious, the food (baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches) are all so good too. On Sunday afternoons there’s live acoustic music as well, and never too loud. The staff are always friendly and polite. My only tip is get in early or call ahead if you don’t want to wait awhile for food. It’s worth the wait and we never mind, but since it’s a small staff in a popular place, it can take awhile during peak hours.
