Martins uses very deceptive if not downright dishonest pricing. Example: Today 4/26 I picked up some frozen Cod fish that was regular priced at $12.99. The price sign said $9.84 with Martins card discount. When it didn`t give me the discount at the register I went back to check the price sign. In VERY SMALL print at the bottom it said price valid through 4/18. I wonder how many people purchased this product thinking it was on sale not realizing it was not discounted at the register. I have had this problem repeatedly at Martin`s. If it is no longer on sale then take the sign down. If you want to deceive customers leave the sign up. I am not sure where this falls legally but it is highly deceptive to the customer. I will shop elsewhere since I do not approve of Martin`s business practices. Again, This was not an isolated incident. I believe this is a coordinated effort to deceive customers.

I shop Martin's often..3/4 days a week at times. I stop before work often as well. I love the floral department! It's always so eye catching & a beautiful selection of flowers 💐..The salad bar is a great ! & It's the only place I can get the bottled water my son likes. Also the doughnuts are our fav! Store is always clean - the employees are always very kind. Thanks Martin's!

Ok for basic stuff. Prices are ok. Not sure why the pharmacy is always working a line of customers. They're friendly enough. The best Valley grocery is Friendly City Coop in Harrisonburg.

Love this store! I can get almost everything here. Vegan foods too. My FAVORITE thing about this place is THE SUSHI!!!! It is so professional and fresh. Sushi Wednesday all sushi is $5! And you can even order and they'll make it for you while you wait. DELICIOUS! Veggie rolls(vegan) in photo

Pharmacy is terrible.They should fill my gas tank to make up for all the trips I have made only to find out rxs weren't ready!Pharmacist told me would take 30 mins to fill one Rx!You grab a btl, count out a few pills, and put a label on it. If that takes 30 mins-- no wonder they can't keep up!

I can find most items I order by Instacart and Like that Martin's in Staunton can Always Prepare Me 8 pieces of Fried chicken fresh every week in the deli when I Call them!!!

The store is immaculate and has a selection of specialty items that you cannot find in other stores in the area. Also has a an awesome bakery and a great selection of produce.

Overall, Martin's has a nice selection of produce and flowers. Will say that there are some items (especially frozen & refrigerated) that are much more expensive here than any other grocery place in the area for the exact same items (brand & size, too). Sometimes by a $1 or more.

Just moved to Staunton and this store is exactly what i needed to be in the area. Great selection of items and all displayed well in their own location that made sense in design. With it being my first trip recently, i bought as many items as i could fit in the cart to find my new brands to buy from the area. What i heard of the store was certainly true when it came to their pricing. Definitely higher end but so far the quality has matched the cost which made it very easy for me to rack up a 400$+ ticket. Absolutely will be coming back, though mostly for that “Whole Foods” reminisce aisle over by the fruits.

A wonderful grocery store with a huge selection. The salad bar is always on point except for during televised sporting events on Sunday when they replace half of the salad bar with wings and things that I'm not sure anyone purchases. One thing I have an issue with is that the bathroom is in the way back left hand corner of the store. Also, the self checkout machines are antiquated, and you have to hit 19 buttons to complete a transaction.

This grocery store has the friendliest and most helpful employees. The store is clean and has many special deals. I always have a great experience when I shop at the Martin's in Staunton. They carry the special products I cannot find anywhere else.

This store is very pleasant and clean, and I enjoy shopping here.There are always nice flowers right at the entrance. The produce is of very good quality and there is good variety, and the bakery is also especially nice. Love Wednesdays, when some sushi is deeply discounted. This is the only store around where I can find small marrow bones, which are favorite treats for my dogs. I would give 5 stars if the prices were a bit lower!

We miss Martin's in Williamsburg. This store was clean and well stocked. Has scan and bag and traditional self-checkout!Restrooms are in the back, left corner (Aisle 18) and were clean!

Went to Waynesboro Martins 2 days ago and got three 2 liter of diet Pepsi for $3.00. passing by Staunton Martins a few days later to get 3 more diet Pepsi for a party. Only this time it was almost $7.00. asked the attendance, she doesn't know why and called the front desk manager to assist . Sales still on according to ad. Well, took almost 15 minutes the front desk manager finally came . I explained and show ad. She didn't get it and left to Investigate the reason. Came back another 15 minutes later with pictures showing that only Pepsi is on sale and not Diet Pepsi because the ad picture clearly shows a bottle of Pepsi and not a diet pepsi. This employee needs to get a raise because she managed to save the company $3.00 and lose $10, and lose a loyal customer who spend at least $300 per week there and a bad taste in his mouth. Don't forget I lost at least 30 minutes just waited on her. She was so preoccupied to prove me wrong then to give me the benefit of the doubt. I don't know what the problem is why one store rung up as 3 for 3 and this store rung up as 2 for 4. Well the picture shows a Pepsi but to go out of her way to prove someone wrong, wow. Let say she make $15 an hour and she spent 30 minutes dealing with me. And I left the other stuff there , not much , That's $7.00 loss plus some changes just like that. Not to even say she has to take the drinks back and restock. You can never argue with an idiot because you will never win. So passed by Royal gas station and got 3 diet Pepsi for 5 . Still beat arguing with an idiot. I will gladly give 2.00 just so I don't have to argue with this person and waited over 30 minutes. Someone please send her to a customer focus training class . Grocery stores and gas stations have sales like that all the time. It really is no big deal letting a customers have it then to take it away . Can you see this logic here? I am not saying I am right or I am wrong, but this manager spending that much time and effort and energy to save the company 3.00 is really not smart. It just shows a lack of common sense.

The salad bar is always amazing. Now they have a wings bar but my favorite is and always will be the olives and mushrooms. Very clean location in Waynesboro. We use self check out but the employees we have met are helpful and polite. The robot in the back seems to stalk us at times and that’s weird.Their health food department is full of great selections. True they are a bit expensive but you are paying for quality and atmosphere. You could go to Walmart and waste an hour around attitudes of customers and employees as well as wait in line to check out because the only thing open is self check out.Highly recommend Martins just scan your items fast and bag them faster or the computer will yell at you.
