We've never had a bad experience at this Lowe's. The associates are always friendly and ready to help, BUT if you ever need paint and it's a Friday night, be sure to stop by to have Zach mix you a gallon. Seriously, we left grinning from ear to ear after chatting with him while our paint was in the shaker. You can't go wrong when you combine great service with awesome conversation!

If you want something from here good luck getting any help. Anytime I need assistance with anything I have to ask 3 times before I end up leaving because of wasted time. Itโ€™s any department on any day not just a one time occurrence, there have been more than several. So save yourselves the trouble and go to Home Depot. Their employees will actually seem motivated to help people.

We are in the final stages of house construction. Literally only just a mailbox left in the front yard. Everything showed in stock on their website with the correct address selected.First time I show up, the mailbox was not in stock but it showed in inventory.Second time I show up, the same story.Third time, I order it online and it is in stock! I show up two hours later for pickup and they don't have it ready. The workers say it is up top or in the back. I stay there an extra thirty minutes and still nothing.THREE DAY DELAY and financial penalties due to a ~$100 mailbox assembly.

Since having some bad experiences here I gave it another shot and have seen a noticeable improvement in the service provided in the store. Much more polite and helpful. There's still the occasional grumpy associate but overall the staff here has been much more friendly than I'd seen before. Thank you for the work you do, I know it's not always easy but it is appreciated.

I placed an order for the solar eclipse glasses on a Friday. By Monday they had already sold and canceled my order. They sold my already paid for order before I had a chance to pick it up. Monday morning, My email said I had 2 more days to pick it up. I had planned on picking it up on Monday at noon. Apparently they had a hidden, unadvertised policy about the glasses. Itโ€™s shady and lacks integrity. You cannot sell an already paid for product to another customer

Didn't know what I needed but the few associates I saw were helping people or moving fork lifts. Finally went to checkout but my Lowe's card doesn't work and need to download an app now. I'm old. I don't do apps. They take up memory on my old phone. There was a clerk who overrode the machine for me so I got my Veteran's discount after about a 10 minute wait. If I have to wait to get an override each time, it might not be worth shopping there any more unless it's for a large item...........,................................................................The response I received from Lowe's shows they don't care enough to read the review and submit an auto reply instead. Doesn't solve my issue.

Ordered QTY 5, 4ft by 8ft pieces of plywood on line. The 3/4" pieces are 90 pounds. It was available for pickup in a few hours so I drove 40 minutes from Charlottesville to Staunton. Sarah came out with the ordeer and helped load the car. This young lady is a credit to the store. Friendly, upbeat and VERY helpful. Worth the 1.5 hour round trip. EXCELLENT !!! First time I have had something positive to write about Lowes.Dave

We purchased a large amount of fencing 3 months ago and the and all the supplies have been sitting in our front yard waiting for lowest to install. Me and Lowes have had a close relationship since we started building our home 2 years ago. If it hadn't been for the kindness, expertise, skill, and design knowledge of Laurie Grabinski, in the Waynesboro store, I'm sure that I would be in debt thousands of dollars and with zero flare!! Laurie worked hard with us, sometimes 4 days a week, with designs we dreamed up or designs we found in multimillion dollar homes on Pinterest!! Let me say this! Y'all have a designer in your store that has more creativity and flare than anyone we went to! (ie secialty cabinet shops and an architect!!) Laurie took my multimillion dollar pictures and scaled it down to fit our budget and space perfectly!!! From colors, knobs, styles, and all the rest, that would have been well over $232,000 had we not found Laurie!! She also came on site, took measurements, and made sure all the details were on point! Laurie is amazing and her sense of home design, fabrics, designer brands or look alike, furniture, furniture placement and more is outstanding. Once I figure out how talented she is, I put her on my team and were a force to be reckoned with!!! Lowe's, you have a diamond in your store!! With Laurie's skills, knowledge, and creativity opens up innumerable opportunities in home building and design!

I went here first before going to another store. Being it's Black Friday, employees were within my eyesight as soon as I walked in the door.This employee gave me the isle I was looking for, and once I got there... There was another employee to find tune what I was looking for. Though what I wanted was sold separately, I had to buy a kit... But the kit has the items I needed, maybe I'll have use of the others sometime in the future.I needed something else, last minute thought came to mind, and I was directed to the area. I picked up 4 items when I was only going for one.Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of where items not in their departments are.

Itโ€™s Lowes. You generally know what you are getting at a big box store but this amazing Memorial Day display was not what I expected. Wow! Whoever did this should win an award! Bravo and thank you for this wonderful reminder of the sacrifice that brave men and women have made in service to our country defending freedom for all.

Too busy harassing customers to open a credit card to actually do their jobs. We were asked at least 6 times to open a credit card within 20 feet, no means no.Couldnโ€™t find squat in this store even with the app telling me what aisle and bay itโ€™s in. Nothings in the correct spot, sold out, and their lumber is horrendous (we had to go to Home Depot for lumber) the fan I wanted was $67 on the tag and $109 at the register. The shelf boards all had water damage we finally found a decent board in the mess. My receipt didnโ€™t add up. I added everything on my receipt and the taxes and it was $50 Higher than what the actual total was. The computer was lagging the entire time and this isnโ€™t the first or only time this location has had lagging or completely broken computers.The cashier we had misplaced items, knocked items in the floor, just plain crazy acting, like sheโ€™s never been a cashier or in customer service before it was an absolute mess and her being the only actual cashier open made it all the worse. It took a good 20 minutes to check out due to her being discombobulated. We had to make another trip back to come get the stuff she left behind the counter on the floor.Absolutely the worst Loweโ€™s Iโ€™ve ever been in, nothing went right, nothing was where it was supposed to be or the right price. Complete headache, Iโ€™ll stick to Home Depot in the future.

For the second time in 2 weeks I went to the counter to be rung up and two of my items rang up for more than double the cost of what the listed price was. Had to go to the back take a picture and bring it back up at request of the cashier. Then a manager had to go back and confirm it herself. Held me up for about 10 minutes which is not the end of the world but pretty inconvenient. The female at the register was very apologetic and very polite

I spend the most 1800 hours on a washer and dryer. Samsung they delivered the dryer was broke. They said they had to receive the broken dryer. In order to get me a new one and I took off work in order for all this to happen. It has been 3 days for this whole process. And now they're telling me that I'm getting refunded instead of delivering the dryer. And I was told that they would bring the dryer. Friday I would not order any appliances from Lowe's they give you the run around

Do not buy cabinets through this company. I purchased cabinets through them. Lowes measured for the cabinets, placed the order and controlled/did the install through their contracted installer. In short, they owned this part of our project start to finish.Took a year to complete. We were told 4-6 weeks. The initial order took 12 weeks and that was just the beginning of the fiasco. When they arrived, cabinets were configured to have the upper cabinets installed 3 feet above the counter! That put the bottom of the upper cabinet at the top of my head. Ridiculous! Rarely have I observed such incompetence and lack of common sense.I was unable to get Lowes to cancel the order and refund my money (~$19,000) even though it took over one year and about six order modifications and 5 visits from the installer. The store did not do what they promised and customer service for the Company was just as bad, or worse as they had ultimate responsibility for Customer Satisfaction. My satisfaction level is obviously non-existent.Beware! The original sales person is no longer there (I wonder why!?) but in store management involved with my transaction may be still be "on the job". Management would no longer take my calls after the sales person promised a full refund and I was unhappy with a $1400 credit, which I've still not received.Read other Google Reviews as well. Also, note that Stefan, one of the 5 star reviews is a manager for Lowes. Others have similar experiences.They've lost me for good. I'd give zero stars if that were an option.

Our countertop was delivered without the hole for the faucet. The installer from BC Stone drilled the hole on site, and did it angled. Now the faucet leans and does not seal properly with the granite. Any water on the countertop leaks through and under the sink.The seams aren't matched up well and need to be smoothed on the edges.There is epoxy still on the countertop smeared around the seams.The installers promised they would return to fix these problems. I have called Lowe's and BC Stone multiple times and have always been told the same excuse. "We'll fix it. We'll have the 'scheduling department' call you." They either never call, or schedule an appointment day without consulting us that doesn't work for us.These problems still have not been fixed. DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES!

Do not waste your time with Staunton Loweโ€™s for any home Reno needs. I started the process of getting quotes to replace windows, a whole deck and just deck boards since July. The โ€œProโ€ has still not gotten me a final quote, has not responded to calls, texts, or emails. Iโ€™ve even tried speaking to the store manager numerous times and was just pushed off on another associate who was told to take my info again to start the quote process again. Seriously? Your employee is incompetent and you canโ€™t take 5 minutes as a manger to hear about it? I even called the mail corporate Loweโ€™s number and was just brushed off as well. Not a chance Loweโ€™s, Iโ€™ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Great for DIY projects but don't always carry everything you need. Have a lot of different products but not a lot of variety with each. Have build numerous reptile enclosures and gotten our Christmas tree here. Definitely a go-to for building materials and supplies.

Chris in pro is very helpful. Not sure who the lady is in that department (older lady with accent) ...but she was little to no help. She was running around like her hair was on fire. Chris was able to get what I needed. One other issue I had was pressure of getting a credit card. Lowes is not my bank .....
