The room was very well appointed: kitchen was well-stocked, bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had all needed amenities. It was a perfect location and allowed us to walk into town and enjoy the restaurants and shops. We had a great snack and drinks in the Bistro on the first level. There was some music at night, presumably from the restaurant below, but it stopped around 11 PM. Fortunately that didn't bother us but it might be a consideration for people who want an early night. We would definitely stay here on a future visit to Staunton.

Excellent experience. Stayed in Room #3. The room was perfect and incredibly clean. Very spacious! Furnishings are wonderful. Bathroom is amazing. Great farmhouse atmosphere. Location fantastic, within walking distance of everywhere. Jenna communicated very well. Building and room access were flawless. We will definitely book a stay here again. No regrets.

This place was fantastic! Had a wonderful stay in Suite #4. This is a very large studio apartment with beautiful furnishings and super clean. Gibson's is located in town and within walking distance to great restaurants, shops, winery's and breweries. What could be better! I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to the Staunton area.Nearby activities: Staunton and the surrounding area is loaded, no pun intended, with wineries and breweries. Also check out Devil's Backbone brewery, about a 30 minute drive.

Great location, fantastic room (#3), clean and comfortable, nicely decorated and outfitted, easy parking (use Wharf parking lot), restaurants, Brewery, Wine tasting room and Cidery, all outside your door! My wife and I were pleasantly surprised!Jeff & Jenna made the entire process as easy as can be.Also, don't overlook "The Depot Grill" restaurant at the Train Station. Good food and good bar atmosphere.Rooms: Very large and confortable!Walkability: Everything Staunton has to offer is right outside your door.

We enjoyed our stay in Room 1 over Memorial Day weekend. Our room was large and equipped with everything we needed and more (including a full kitchen), and the location was very convenient. We found a parking space right out front and left our car there as we could walk to everything. I would not describe this as a hotel as there is no staff on site. We were provided with a code to enter the lobby and another to enter our room, and a phone number to call if we needed help (which we didn't). The only negative is there was a lot of noise coming from the apartments above on Saturday night -- but the white noise machine by the bed helped us eventually get to sleep.Nearby activities: Virginia Scenic Railway, American Shakespeare Center, Sunspots glassblowing.Walkability: Walking distance to historic downtown area and Shakespeare Center. Across the street from the train station.Noteworthy details: The room included a full kitchen, equipped with dishes, cutlery, and utensils.

Wow, wow and wow! If you are looking for a unique room with modern amenities without breaking the bank, look no further. And if you don't feel like staying in and cooking, catch one of the restaurants within easy walking distance.Book online is the easiest way to reserve. Self check in/out. Jenna was a great host.(You could experience some random common city noises because of the location.)

We loved staying at Gibson's Warehouse for our wedding weekend. It was probably our most favorite rental that we ever stayed in. Very charming and historic, but with modern amenities. Very clean and detailed, the bed and sheets were amazing. Right downtown within walking distance to everything in downtown Staunton. We will definitely be staying there again!

We loved the location in Staunton. It was easy to walk to restaurants and fun places. The room was also very nice but there is a restaurant below with loud music (after midnight one night) and apartments above. You can hear a lot of creaking from someone walking around, which they did until about 2 AM both nights we were there. We got a poor nights sleep both nights so I really can’t recommend this place.

Great place! The room is part of a modified warehouse that now has all the modern conveniences. The room was large and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. You could tell all the attention to detail that was put into this place. If in Staunton, VA I would highly recommend Gibson's Warehouse!

We stayed here for 4 nights as our base to explore the Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway and really loved our stay in room #2! It was a spacious unit with cool decor, nice kitchen, great bathroom, easy check in system, keyless entry, etc. The location was great: easy, free street parking and walking distance to Staunton’s many great restaurants! Loved the view from the top of the train trestle bridge across the street.We really appreciated the laundry access, too.The only thing I didn’t love was the foam mattress; it’s just not what I’m used to/I don’t seem to sleep very well on them.

We stayed here for one night to visit Staunton. This is more of an Airbnb place than a hotel which was what exactly we expected as well. Convenient self-check-in process. The room was sparkling clean, spacious and neat. The bedding was really comfortable. Overall the warehouse interior was great. The only drawback that we felt at room# 1 was it's right next to the road and people were hanging out and smoking most of the time which made us feel very uncomfortable as the cigar smell can be felt inside. I think if you book any other room like 2,3 or 4 you should be good. Overall it was a good experience.

This place is a warehouse converted into a modern, hip living space of multiple rooms. Our room was very clean and had everything you would need for a short stay. The location is in downtown Staunton, VA with several nice restaurants and a very good wine tasting room within walking distance. Highly recommend. Wish we had more time to explore the area but we will definitely be back.

We’ve started coming to Staunton annually for our anniversary and Gibson’s Warehouse is a lot of why we keep coming back. The location is great, the amenities are delightful (my husband especially likes the pop tarts) and the rooms are nicely stylish. Booking, check in, and check out are all seamless. Look forward to staying again next year!
