It was okay, just a grocery store. The man cleaning the floors did interrupt our shopping several times. I appreciate that he's cleaning the floors using that machine, but maybe there's a different time to do that.

I am going to another Food Lion from now on. I live near this store and it’s convenient. The people in this store location need to present themselves in a kind manner. The customer service is non existent. I can’t stand going in this location and feel worse when leaving. It’s as if this location hire’s trash without any screening. I’m no longer going to this location. I would rather pay more somewhere else.

While the staff is very friendly this is the 3rd time that I've gotten something atleast a week out of date. This time it was a hilshire farm lunch kit. Went bad on 10/18/23. They need someone to start checking dates

The store itself is nice but the cashiers seem to hate life. Is it that hard to greet people at your register and at least attempt to not have a scowl on your face?

Honestly love this place. I know what they do and don't have and I always have a real nice chat with the person ringing me up. I go here all the time. I appreciate that they still provide wipes and hand sanitizer as I now have a germ thing, thanks COVID. So the fact that I can wipe off my baskets and carts means a lot. I do wish you carried cod fish sticks. That's my only complaint.

I’ve been forced, along with many others, to shop elsewhere due to the KETO products and selections which are near to nothing in the West Beverly Street location. As this is one of the only places to shop on the West end of town, I would think they would beef up their selections, rather than eliminate choices!! Would love to see them use the empty building next door to expand their business!

Once I went in for 2 minutes then the manager came up to me and said that they already had 5 complaints about my rabbit. I get about the animal have. But they could of just told me to leave the produce. But still. And to make it worse I didnt have her carrier. I told him, I dont know if he didnt here me but i said but we dont have her carrier. And even if we did she would die. Because it was hot and we would be in there for lake and hour. We also brought a keep and the back window was out so someone could of stole her. In my experience i think they should allow animals anywhere bit produce because every thing else is in plastic. Why do people hate animal hair. Just like I said let animals in grocery stores.

I go to the Food Lion all the time. The lines are always short and the cashiers are really friendly. I'm only giving it four stars because it doesn't have the selection of frozen vegetarian dinners like other stores do. Other than that I love this store and I'll continue to shop there.

Absolutely rudest employees in the city of Staunton. The managers and workers are always mad and make snide comments over anything you do. Go anywhere else in town for groceries if you can.

I don't particularly care for Food Lion as a chain, but the folks in this store are very nice. The bathroom is clean and there is plenty of parking.

The manager helped me two times this evening one was to help me find the sweet peppers and then the other was I was getting ice cream and I was getting food Lion Brand and he told me about the Turkey Hill brand which was by to get the third one free and that's was all for $6 so technically I got three half gallons of ice cream for $6 thank you Matt who is the night manager and then the cashier who was Jacob spelled j a y c o b excellent customer service thank you food Lion for being there.

It's the busiest grocery in the town and they rarely have more than one or two check-out lines open. I'd rather drive a bit farther to another one just to be able to get out of the store faster. Customer service isn't the best at this location either, I think that may have something to do with 90% of the employees being under the age of 17.

Cashier's are really good about wearing masks. The management and customers not so much. The express line needs better markings for where to line up. Several times at the dinner rush it is really long and splits of into two lines that have to merge. Luckily most people are good about it, but soon there will be a Karen that will cause trouble.

In my 15 minutes in the store, I must have come across 20+ people that weren't wearing masks and more that weren't wearing them properly. None of the staff seemed to care. No one was monitoring anyone. I brought it up to my cashier and she just kind of shook her head and said "yeah I know." There was also a fair amount of people in not a large store. I won't be returning if I have the choice.

We've been using curbside pickup during the Covid months and have been pleased with the service. I was especially pleased to have the fresh produce carefully selected, as if I had selected it myself!

I have never seen a Food Lion as busy as this one was! It was around 4:30pm when I was there and the lines were very long as I was shopping. By the time I had finished, I was waiting half-way down the cereal aisle just to get to the 12 items or less register. There were about 5 lanes open too!

This Food Lion has went down in quality somewhat. They do not always have the shelves stocked fully and it can be difficult at times to find anyone to help you. Still it is a local nearby fixture of the community that allows you to make short quick runs to the grocery store.

As usual employees at this location are always friendly...selection of items is always good...some regular items I buy tend to be a bit more than I normally pay elsewhere but it's the convenience of the location...

I will start with stating that until today I had been a customer at this foodlion for 7 year. Today I went with a friend to the store she purchased beer but I didn’t have my wallet with me because I didn’t need it to go to the store. The guy at the register asked me for my ID I told him I didn’t have it but told him my date of birth and age (33) she handed him hers and he scanned it but said since I didn’t have mine that the beer couldn’t be purchased. I then left after she paid she went back to get beer after I left. They then called the police on her and told her that she couldn’t purchase the alcohol and kicked her out of the store. Personally the way things were handled will prevent me from ever entering this store again. The cashier was Edward.

It's really nice at my store , except there were a lot of flies in your deli section. It really turned me off, otherwise the improvements were great and more choices.
