Approaching the door, there is a poster board sign that reads no cash payments. Entering the door another handmade poster board sign reads self checkout only. The bathrooms are beyond filthy! I would let my dog use their facilities it's so gross! There wasn't a person to be found upon entering. Way to go Dollar General! You guys are really rock stars.

The store was extremely busy. The line was very long. But both staff working was doing a excellent job. Greta even took time to say hello and ask how I was doing all while constantly stocking the milk cooler.

They usually have good sales, especially if you download their digital coupons?? Every Saturday you can get. $5 off a $25 purchase, plus use your digital coupons and manufacturers coupons. Most of the employees are nice,with the exception of one of the managers. Sometimes the coupons dont want to ring up?? And this particular manager gets upset when she has to stop and take care of it?? I just keep smiling and show them my coupons on my phone because I live on a fixed income and need to save all the $$ I can!!

This was a very nice place when I last visited, although the staff seemed to act like they were expecting you to shoplift something at any moment. I never realized crime was so bad in their area. Their treatment is the primary reason I have never went back, preferring to shop at the other Dollar Store on the west side of town.

This is a nice, recently built dollar store. They have all the basics stuff you would expect. It's not the kind where everything is $1 (which are awful). It's just a place where you don't feel guilty about going in for one thinf and coming out with a bunch of candy.

I was traveling and needed a car charger for my smartphone. I figured I would check Google Maps for a Dollar General. Found this one within 6 miles of my location and along my route.I stopped in and was able to purchase the charger I needed for a reasonable price and was checked out and back on the road in less than 5 minutes from arriving. DG saved the day!

I love visiting this location because the employees are super friendly however lately they have been slacking a bit, stood in line for almost 12 minutes without anybody even coming to a register.

I hate this Dollar General. They are like Nazi's. They are on a shoppliffting crusade, and I guess think that they are saving the world one cheap thing at a time. The ladies follow you around the store. Don't ask if you need help, but just stare and try to catch you. Thus store is freaking notorious, and all the women in there want drama ,and they are quick to call the law, even if you don't do anythung. God forbid you change your mind and they don't see u put the item back. They will right down your plate number, and Staunton PD will meet you at home to look at your bags.

They have basic goods. Rude service. Expensive cigarettes. Go to Shell down the road and expect to spend about a dollar or more LESS on a pack of smokes compared to this store.. Or anywhere else.
