I felt at ease knowing Champ and Whiskers were safe with you all. I know they didn't eat much but that is no fault of yours. They were nervous as I was for leaving them. I really appreciate the videos and pictures that Nancy sent to me. They gave me some relief that they were doing well!! I would certainly use the boarding facility again in the future. Everyone is so kind and Dr. Peterman takes her time with my dogs (and me). She is very thorough. I even had help getting my large strong dog into the exam room and back to the car. Highly recommend. I’ve been with AVAH 20+ years.

I brought my Guinea pig in as she was having some breathing issues and the doctor squeezed us in on a full schedule and WOW the doctor was AMAZING she seemed to really care about my pig and help educate me on different things! I will definitely be back!(hopeful for a check up and now another issue like this tho😅)

Ive always loved coming here. I was recommended last year by a friend who brought her animals when i was searching for a new vet. My dog is reactive (not aggressive) and they never make me feel as if hes an issue. They accommodate to him and his needs!

The staff was extremely friendly & helpful! They were very patient and took their time allowing my skittish hound to feel comfortable with them before examining him - especially the vet tech/assistant!! (I can’t remember her name but she was soooo sweet and wonderful! Her cat’s named Subway)

Welcoming, caring staff from the front desk to the tech and the vet! Our cat had an ear infection and the vet and tech were both so calm and professional with her. They were also very timely and we didn't spend a lot of time waiting at all. They had the medication we needed in stock as well! Overall a great experience! I will be bringing my adult cat here for regular check-ups! Would recommend for anyone looking for a great reliable vet!

I love this place all the doctors and technicians are so wonderful!! I been going there 16 years I had a yorkie poo for 14 she been going there every since I had her until she pass away they been there with me with my dog death and then I had a sweet boy cat Lenny !! The doctors are so amazing wonderful I can’t say enough about them!! Doctor Kelly has been taking care of my cats every since she been working there she’s amazing young doctor she really cares about your animals and how you feel !! My dog’s successful surgery was handled professionally and kindly. Dr. Carter is a skilled surgeon who kept in touch with me on surgery day. My pet was treated well, his pain was managed, and he was sent home with everything he needed including a few goodies. The final cost was actually less than the estimate even though an additional procedure was needed. I really appreciate that this practice not only offers exemplary care to pets but also takes into account the pet owners’ feelings and concerns. I highly recommend!

The only place I will bring my dog. I trust the vet he sees. He's protective and barks at other people and animals, but not at his vet. He loves her. The crew in this hospital is amazing. My pup loves them so much and honestly was flirting with one of the girls lol

I recently had an urgent medical issue with my weimaraner while out of state for work. Sparing the details, the entire staff at Augusta Valley Animal Hospital were fantastic! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the veterinarians and techs were patient and compassionate and treated my girl and me with the utmost of care. Dr. Peterman and Dr. Carter are amazingly caring vets! I wholeheartedly recommend them for any veterinarian needs you and your furry family member may have.

Fantastic, as always! Max broke a nail on his early morning walk and they were able to see us and fix him right up within an hour! And the staff treated Max like family, i couldnt ask for better!

Disco has been seeing Dr. Knabe since he was 10 weeks old. While he is not a fan of the old standbys like shots and things in his ears, he is a fan of Dr. Knabe. Not only does she take great care of him, but she does so in a calming, compassionate, and knowledgeable manner. Dr. Peterman has been a wonderful vet for our felines. I appreciate that she loves cats and was so kind to my cat who wasn’t the easiest patient. She took the time to help calculate the amount of food I should give my new kittens.I had to call after our visit due to concerns about how my kitten responded to her vaccinations and Dr. Carter provided immediate information, while Dr. Peterman followed up the next day.I’ve taken my cats to Augusta Valley Animal Hospital since 2006 and they’ve always given my cats the best care.

Meeting Dr Pederman was a comforting and uplifting experience. She took all the time I needed to help me to understand and train me how to treat my miniature schnauzer that has been diagnosed with early heart failure. On the day of the first appointment, she made my day by giving me all the details for each medication and explaining the the role of each in treating my fur-baby's condition. But then she also took the time to call me with the blood work evaluation the following day. I felt very heard and cared for!!!

Very friendly and accommodating to our dog! He is very anxious but the vets and me sat on the floor with him for his checkup and shots, I really enjoyed the experience. They even held him off the pavement while I got into my truck so his little paws didn't burn!! If I ever get my own animal this would be my vet of choice for sure.Here is a picture of the handsome man himself at the vet.
