Do not buy milk from this location or probably any Food Lion. Yet again for the third time we've had one of their gallons of milk go bad a week or more before it expires. The first time one of my kids got sick from it because they didn't know better and we still had it in the fridge due to trusting the expiration date as most humans do. I personally will never be shopping at another Food Lion and I will raise my children to do the same if you can't get a simple thing like this right and it keeps happening every time you buy it back-to-back it's probably not worth it. Meanwhile my Kroger milk is still good along with well I've never had this issue with Aldi's milk and not even Walmart.

I like to get my Groceries while I'm out on my shopping day... Because I don't go Grocery shopping but Twice a month I'm Disabled and it is hard for me to do the simple things like I used to be able to do and it's been Hard for me to Except that I'm not Able to get out of the house Since the Stroke in March that almost took my life but Thank God 🙏 every day I wake up to live another day!! Today October 5th 2023 the store is....As of Yesterday February 27,2024 this food Lion keeps getting better with the cleanliness of the store and as aways almost every visit when I'm finished shopping there's always a smiling face waiting to check out my groceries and I don't have to wait in a line that means alot to me as I am disabled.

It's strange But, the kids working in this particular store have politeness like I've not seen in quite a few years. I give kudo's to their parent's/management of the store, etc!

Friendly and helpful staff. Products are easy to find AMD the checkout was fast. Good prices to. The sell all kinds of food, along with beer and wine. Public restrooms and handicap accessible.

Friendly service, we'll stocked shelves, super clean, and we'll organized. Great place to go to get groceries. Bakery and deli were also clean and well stocked. Meat department was clean and all employees I spoke with made me feel like an actual person! Highly recommend!

I had a good experience shopping at the Stanley town food Lion and since my first experience there I think the grocery products are in alot better placement than the 220n. Bassett VA Food Lion because I can never find what I'm shopping for in the Bassett store.

The store is good, it was the price of the gas. In Martinsville and Hardy the gas is $3.29 so why in Rocky Mount is it $3.44?

Prices are a little higher than Walmart, but the store is always extra clean, it's never too crowded and the service is top-notch. Friendly staff who are ready to answer any question.

I was visiting some extended family from out of town and needed a few items. I’ve never been to a Food Lion before, but Tanner in frozen was incredibly helpful and made me feel super welcome! Definitely coming back.

I absolutely love this grocery store. It has a nice produce section with a decent selection of organic fruits and vegetables. It is clean and well lit. And best of all the employees are friendly and there are always several cash registers open. My only complaint is the music playing over the sound system is wretched. Droning, repetitive, and inane. I’d love to hear sound tracks of popular music from almost any decade of the 20th century, especially the ‘30s through the ‘80s. But I know music is a matter of taste, so if the music remains wretched I guess I can just shop with noise cancelling headphones.

This Food Lion is clean, well stocked, and well staffed. Produce area very nice. One of the best Food Lions I've ever visited. Never see long lines at the register and small carts always available.
