One of the better Food Lions I've visited, especially considering the size of the town where it's located. Great deli, friendly staff. They had a good T-bone steak special the day I shopped there.

Robin was extremely rude when we were checking out. Told us to go to another lane bc she was “express” after we already started to put things on the checkout line. She then proceeded to check out someone with a larger cart than ours. Very unprofessional service!

Always good selection of fresh produce and local produce in season. Clean, good selection of many different grocery items including international foods and gluten free. Nice deli. Freshly made rotisserie chicken, fried chicken and hot food bar. Bakery is nice. Great selection of wines and beers also. Whether you live in the area or are visiting this is a great store to go to shop.

Always great customer service for our small little town. The only thing I dislike is when they keep rearranging the shelves. You get used to something, then corporate wants to change it up on you. Other than that it's great! 👍

Convince local Shopping Center for personal that can't get around on a daily basis. Other wise if I could get a ride to Wal-Mart, I WONT EVEN STEP FOOT INSIDE. FOR ONE THEIR WAY WAY TO EXPENSIVE, PLUS ALWAYS ASSUMING THAT EVERYBODY IS UP TO NO GOOD. " All IM SAYING IS IF I HAD OTHER TRANSPARTION I WONT GO TO THIS FOOD LION.

Food Lion in Stanley VA is a wonderful place. Everyone I've met or dealt with has been super nice. They don't make you feel rushed for any reason. I've had questions with my bank and card and they spent a bit of time helping me. I never felt rushed or that I was keeping them from something. I shop there a lot and I've never had a bad experience. In fact, I'm more friendly to them when I go cause they recognize me and just are very nice. The store has always looked organized and clean. I've visited there at 7am and different times during the day. Each time I went it was always the same. Very pleasant. The kind workers really make it a great experience. Not one employee I've met has had a bad attitude in any manner. Great store.

Very nice store. Good lay out, clean and lots of produce and fresh meat and poultry. My only concern was check out. Only 2 registers open and each line was 3 deep. One of the two open registers were for 12 items or less so family shoppers are stacked back to back with baskets full of groceries. Makes check out long and frustrating.

This store is always clean.A place to meet the towns friend and you start talking right in the store. There produce and meats are always better than Walmart any day. Food Lion gets top grade where Walmart gets the left overs.

I love the store hours. They stay open late.🕚 They seem to stay stocked even when everywhere else was sold out. 🛒💁‍♀️And Idk where you make suggestions but I only have 2.1. Bring back the Old Bay microwaveable steam shrimp bags.🍤(spice isle)2. PLZ STOP running that floor buffing machine when ppl are in there at night shopping. 🛑🙉🙊🙈

Fresh produce clean organize dials food is easy to find and Food Lion has their bathrooms cleaned every half an hour they are the cleanest bathrooms the bathroom where you do not feel weird if you have to sit down you don't feel you need to cover the seat and I do not ever sit down on the bathroom toilet seats I am a germ freak so that tells you something about this beautiful store extraordinary Lee clean and if they don't have a product just ask and they will order it for you talk about up most above and beyond customer service

Very clean store, in stock on everything on my list, polite employees, plenty of parking, and easy parking access. I just wish the sign at entrance was larger. I almost missed the entrance because it is hard to see.

Rush shopping trip right before store closed. Forgot hot dog buns.... Told employee he should go grab me some while I was checking out. Not only did he do so but also came back with choices! Thanks so much😀

Only 3 stars this time b/c I absolutely hate when the change a store around & u know where nothing is bt overall the staff is generally nice & helpful the store is usually clean & prices are descent (outrageous everywhere really). All in all it's a good store tho

I like this store and staff, but they don't take their own mask rules seriously. That's disappointing with senior parents and a friend going through chemo who wants to shop there but knows better.

Not sure ( I didn't go into food lion ) 🙃 what up 🙃.. today 7-13-20 Monday service at meat counter ( VERY POOR ) it seems like I waited for 5 minutes and NEVER GOT WAITED ON .. SO I CALLED THE MAIN OFFICE .. WHO DOESN'T SEEM TOO CARE EITHER .. THEY SHOULD GIVE THE CUSTOMER FIRST PLACE 🤔 must be a better option

I was there last night. None of the employees were wearing PPE. Stocking shelves without gloves, cashiers without masks, social distancing in check-out lines not enforced.

Nice clean well stocked and organized store. However some of the prices are high. They do have some good weekly sales.
