Just went into Weis to pick up a few snacks and drinks. Their aisles were well labeled making it very easy to find everything we were looking for. They have food/ snacks that are dry, frozen and cooked that you choose from.

I go in this store quite often because it's less than a mile from my house. It's normally pretty well stocked and clean although a lot of times the prices on the shelves don't match what rings up and sometimes you actually have to take pictures of the shelf labels to show what they say. Today took the cake, though. My husband and I were at one of the self checkouts that kept malfunctioning and a couple came in with a small pet box like you get from the pet store. They took it over to the deli to show them what they had and I went back to scanning. They then went to the service desk to show them what they had and she took it out of the box and it was a rodent...looked like a mouse. One of the, I guess she's a head cashier, took it from her and held it. I'm a full on animal lover, but when someone brings a rodent in and people are handling it...I don't know if deli people did or not...and they don't go wash their hands...not to mention it shouldn't have been out of the box in the store in the first place, that left me a little disgusted. Not to mention we needed help on the checkout but everyone was over there googling over the mouse. I'm not sure if this person was an employee or just a friend, but that makes me more likely to continue going to Publix.

Everytime we go to the Weis on Garrisonville road I Stafford there are 4 or 5 employees out front smoking cigarettes that you have to walk through to get into the store. Then you have to use self checkout that doesn’t work will all the employees are out front smoking. Please stop them from smoking in front of the store.

one of the only local grocery stores with a fresh seafood section and unique selection of meats as well. full bakery with custom order capability. has more of an international market vibe especially compared to its competing neighbor Walmart neighborhood market. prices are about 10% over Walmart though. no lines at checkout.

I ALWAYS get charged differently at the register than what shelf price says. Got hamburgers today that are normally $14.99 on sale for $8.99. Price at check out (after putting in my membership card)- $10.99. I always let it go but I'm done with Weis. It's poor business practice. Update the shelf, THEN the system. I guarantee both get done simultaneously rather than changing system price and waiting for customers to ****. 1 star Weis, 1 star. Oth weer store on Foreston woods Dr had the same habit which is why I stopped shopping there. I'm disowning your franchise at this point. Poor business practice!

Incredible customer service wow. Must have left my steak in the basket cuz when I got home it wasn't with me . Called to see if anyone turned it in . They said no but to come back up and get another on them. Reluctant I stayed home, the next day(today) I went back in to purchase another and they remembered me and insisted I be given the steak at no cost to me. Thanks for remembering me Jean😎

Prices are way higher than everywhere else. Butcher is nice enough to cut a steak on request. Deli situation is B A D. (No fault of the employees) this is a management problem) they don't open till 10:30 but there are people behind the counter doing all kind of tasks who will try to ignore you at almost any cost because they aren't allowed to get you anything from one foot in front of them. They are following the managements orders. (Some great ladies that work there)I ran into the "deli manager" one day and as he was walking across the floor I asked if I could get some chicken salad and he kept right walking didn't even look back at me and said (not even AT me but through me) "nope, the deli STILL opens at 10:30" in a very snarky voice as he walked as fast as he could by me. Never making any eye contact.He used the kind of voice someone like me (owning a boxing gym) in other circumstances would have offered to let him test-drive his attitude with a couple rounds of light sparring, kind of voice.So I studied the situation there for a few months, ended up going deep undercover, came in at various times, different clothes/looks, sent in my kid, wife to gather data. We built relationships with some of the employees, asked them questions, and it became obvious that it's certainly NOT the enlisted ranks, it's the management. Specifically the deli manager. He must have some other amazing quality because customer service, hell, basic politeness and respect is not even a blip on his radar.I would say the deli should open around at least 9. Maybe he likes to sleep in... Maybe he gets a kick out of telling people "no".All I can say is I go elsewhere because I shop around 9-10am and this guy can't seem to get it together for such early hours.

Of all the stores I shop, Weiss has the friendliest and most helpful staff. The store is clean and well- stocked. Their prices are higher than the big box stores, but their own brands are reasonable. The selection isn't as good as larger stores like Publix and Giant, but Weiss seems to be a little less expensive and I've always been able to find what I need.

Awesome store..very clean and organized.the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere has a good vibe. Bakery smells so good and produce always looks so fresh. Meat dept is always so friendly and more than welcome to help. Just so clean and organized I can't believe it's so fairly priced. This is my new grocery store...no more chaos during grocery trips

Friendly staff, nice selection, but checkout was incredibly uncomfortable. I had 2 bottles of mustard and a bag of flour. For some reason, an employee in a wheelchair pulled up directly behind me (not even 2 feet away) and stayed there. No "Hello, how are you doing?", no "excuse me sir I'm right behind you", nothing. Mind you, the store isn't busy. After about 15 seconds I turn around and say "oh hello there" to him and he almost acts startled as if he didn't expect me to acknowledge him. He gave me a cautious "Hello" before heading to the other side of my self check out counter. At this point I realize that he's blatantly monitoring me and every action I take. Once I finish paying for my $6 in groceries (in hindsight, I should've left everything), he swivels over to the exit to finally great me with a "have a nice day". To which I do not respond.Spend your money elsewhere if you can.

Store itself is clean good aisle size prices a little hi, staff are friendly. THEN THE NASTY REST ROOMS. Look and smell like they have not been cleaned in a month. Wade's of gum in urinals. Floor was full of urine. I know the public is at fault but the store has make and effort to keep it clean.

Still pretty good. Good meat, good veggies, bad cans.:today I went into Weis for some more meat and cans of beer.Still pretty good.Employees are nice.Meat is reduced from time to time for a pretty good deal. I wish they had more energy drinks in the COOOOOLERS.Update: still decent meat.

Every time I go into this Weis I'm always disappointed. The last time I went there I had 2 items to buy and went to self checkout, tried to put in my phone number and it didn't work so a manager would have to come and fix it. I waited about 5 minutes nothing or no one showed up. I walked up to the only cashier working and he attempted to help me but couldn't because he needed a manager, he even went to the office door and the lady answered and said she couldn't help because she didn't have the key to unlock the system. Needless to say after about 15-20 minutes of waiting for a manager no one still showed so I told the cashier when someone does decide to show up please cancel my purchase. I will never return to this store again.

I usually don't go to Weis, because there is a different grocery store closer to our house. However, I went into Weis this one day because I was next door at the pool supply store, and it was convenient to drop in for a couple of things. The store was clean, there was no line to checkout, and they had everything I needed. I'll definitely start giving it a try more often, especially since I drive by it all the time on my way into town, or to the highway.

I've been going to Weis in Stafford for years and I have never had a negative experience. The staffs are always friendly and helpful, no matter what the issue is, someone is always available to help, courteously and respectfully.

Very long and inefficient wait times at the register. There was this young woman working the register who probably needed help, who took approximately 10 minutes to clear two people who had only like 10 items each. I was kinda in a rush and had some booze which I'm pretty sure can't go through self checkout, so this was a but frustrating.Their booze selection is pretty good though, but stay away from those nasty Mike's Hard Lemonade brands. They taste like rotten fruit, and not the good kind either.

Nice clean market. Purchased food items for a picnic: cheese, small Italian meat tray, spinach dip, crackers, bread, strawberries & apples. Couldn't find pate. The produce and their brand crackers were all very good. And the artisanal bakery bread was excellent. Prices seemed fair and comparable to Safeway. Employees were friendly and seemed genuinely caring.

Have been going to Weis Markets since my family and I moved to Fredericksburg and Love the friendliness of the staff at each location as well as the great prices and selection. I have to avoid the Bakery section because I always come home with extra cookies or cakes or pastries when I was going to pick up something totally different 😁

We go to Weis when we need something quick, otherwise I don't find there produce to be really fresh, two times I've purchased from the seafood counter and had to bring it back because once I got it home I've found the crab to be dry and shrimp to be mushy and slimy. Decent place for dry or canned goods, but fresh is not their forte.

I go here for convenience and price. I liked Food Lion way better! The two stores do have something in common. No matter how many items I go in for....they are out of SOMEthing! Never fails. I go to all the grocery stores in Stafford, either for sales, items others don't carry, or convenience at the time. I feel loyalty to none of them. Quite honestly, if there was more and better competition, I'd probably never go to Weis.
