I’m a tough critic when it comes to these big box stores. Normally their customer service is non existent and the stores are chaotic and poorly run. I’m happy to report that was not the case at this location on a Saturday afternoon! The first thing I noticed walking in was that the cart returns were empty and the parking lot was clean! I was actually pretty shocked. Shock #2 came while I was roaming an isle and an employee approached me and asked if I needed help finding anything! As someone who shops at Home Depot and Lowes way too often, I don’t even remember the last time I didn’t have to seek out an employee when I needed assistance. Other than an “Out of Order” sign on the saw in the lumber section, everything at this location seemed pretty well organized and well run. I saw more employees working at this location then I’ve ever seen at other locations. Maybe I just got lucky with the date and time I shopped here, but this location was 100% better than the Woodbridge location which is always packed and chaotic. I’ll definitely be returning to this location!

Had to stop in quickly for a handful of items to complete a flooring project and thankfully ran into David (plumbing department). He had a great professional manner and knew instantly where to find what I was looking for. My better half prefers the blue neighbor competitor due to a bad experience on a large project in Wisconsin BUT has said that David has restored her faith in the HD!!! (Seriously thank you for that in itself, I may now just come straight to a store where I know I’ll be taken care of.) THANKS DAVID!!!!PS:give him a raise on principle.

Store is clean and orgainzed and easy to find what you need. As far as customer service in paint section yesterday, the lady was very rude when I was juat asking a question. And the self check out cashier was very unfriendly. Normal I like shopping at home depot but not recently

I had really bad experience with a guy his name Kevin work in the the rental department. He was unprofessional. I was really disappointed how he act. The management need to do a lot of customer service training for him. He tried to charge me double the cost just because he did not like the way I cleaned the machine!!! I rent the machine for 64$ for 4 hours, after I done he tried to charge me $135!!!! And the reason because he didn’t like the way I cleaned the machine!! Don’t waste your money and go to that rental department.

Me and my friend went there to rent a machine, Kevin was not very professional he treated us very poorly he didn't offer any assistance, and didn't respond to any questions we had, he kept insisting on the cleaning fee even when we told him that we would clean machine.RUDE GUY!!!the experience was horrible Even other costumes were like "What is wrong with this guy"I hope you guys train these guys to deliver better business to you and us the customers,Note: We had 2 propane tanks to fill, and we end up filling them from Lowes across the street!

I purchased a Dewalt battery jump starter at this Home Depot about an hour ago. As has been my experience with this store, the personnel were extremely helpful and friendly. I wish I could have gotten the lady’s name that assisted me, because she was exceptional. The Woodbridge store could take some customer service lessons from this store. Being treated well goes a long way towards making customers happy.

They sold me a drop cam without disclosing to me that the nest app was going to close and no longer support my home camera. Therefore the camera is now and forever useless. This camera cost me hundreds of dollars of hard earned money and I should have been warned by Home Depot before the purchase that Nest and their apps are completely unreliable scams and that mine would be shut off by their app. I would not have bought the camera if I had known the honest facts about nest apps. Complete rip off. Nest stop supporting their app that allowed my camera to function yesterday. Dishonest dirty business and a total loss for the customer

It's the well known Home Depot. Everything for home improvement to DIY projects. Well maintained, well stocked and friendly service.Not usually busy during the week. Loads of parking and convince make this one a great place.

I recently interacted with Jodi at customer service and am beyond impressed by her professionalism and care for customers. It is extremely rare that you get someone, in any capacity, to go above and beyond what is required of them to help out a customer. I’ve been getting the run around by dewalt to replace/repair a lawn mower. Jodi took it upon herself to not only spend time trying to find my transaction in Home Depot’s POS repository but also called DeWalt customer service to try and help me out.If anyone has the pleasure of being able to interact with Jodi, consider yourself in great hands. She is a phenomenal person.

Good for the majority of home needs. You can also check online to search for options available for your home and outdoor needs. They also have barbecues and related items and seasonal items for the Christmas season and more. Plenty of parking and shopping in the area.

David in paint was so amazing and helpful today! Because of his knowledge in paint, he saved me money and effort. I am 57 and if I had done it my way , the project would not be done by now . He made it so I could do the job in one day!!! Thanks David!!!

Today I bought patio set from Home Depot in Stafford and I had the best ever experience.I came to the building around 1 pm and there was nobody around patio furniture area. David was passing by and I kindly ask him if someone help. He said he is working in plumbing isle but he would be happy to help. Normally, most workers try to not make eye contact in order not to help. But David, he found the set in stock, arranged forklift, updated me during the process and guided me till to the loading to my truck. He was extremely helpful, kind and responsive. Greatly appreciate him.

As a 3rd party independent contractor that does occasional deliveries for Home Depot customers around Stafford, I've had nothing but great experiences at this location. Other locations are generally satisfactory as well overall, but this one is worthy of a shout out. The customer service reps are great. They're professional but also "themselves" and easy to work with. Their attitudes and performance speaks volumes about this locations management and managerial integrity. If I've had any issues here, they're slipping my mind because I can't remember any. Which in this line of work, is RARE. That said, Home Depot as a whole has a very put-together same-day delivery system as a corporation and take it from me, most other billion dollar mega corps aren't half as efficient and competent as Home Depot folks. But that goes for all the Home Depots I've dealt with between Fredericksburg and Alexandria.

Have an expensive Ryobi p330 nails strike finish nailer. Thing jammed up on a nail 2nd time I used it. I worked on it ,no luck. Home Depot said they no longer service these tools they sell. Called the Ryobi help line, they want $5 just to talk to a technician. Hate Home Depot, done w Ryobi. Moving up.

This Home Depot location never fails to disappoint me. A couple month back I purchased a outdoor firepit furniture set. Young man sent to help me load it into the back of my truck complained about having to help me, then threw it into my truck bed... Get home all the tile on the furniture set was broke. Drove back to exchange. Asked them to help me unload same young man. Refused to help. Mind you, no interaction or words other then "hey how are you thanks for helping me" were exchanged with this kid to warrant rude behavior. I did asked him to help me load it in my truck a second time but i specifically asked just hold the cart.Todays visit I had placed a rental, upon pick up of product the employee was very rude, wouldnt make eye contact and would not help load the very heavy product as well. walked away as i was loading. upon returning (different employee) also refused to help unload the product stating "you rented it, its your responsibility".I challenge higher corporate to secret shop this location, to see how rude the staff are at this location.For everyone the Lowes across the street has better customer service or drive to the HD's in Fredericksburg.

Well it's Home Depot.I prefer them overall to the other place. Kinda like Wally World vs Tarjay, they both have about the same thing but one seems to have just a bit more of what I need.Just bought a washer and dryer set from here. They won out due to the offer of an installation rebate (which reminds me I need to find that form!).They are understaffed like most places BUT I've never had a question unanswered and the folks are very friendly.Update January 2023Washer dyer we bought-Machines are excellentStaff was very helpfulBad note was the experience between Samsung and the delivery warehouse. Legit took over two months to get it all figured out. Not a superb experience.I take a star off based on this journey. It was a large expense and I spent at the least 10-12 hours over two plus months on the phone with customer service to get it taken care of. The outcome was we got our washer and dryer and the company compensated us. Customer service agents were all helpul but this was a fiasco I'd not expect or want.

Arrived at the store today, looking specifically for mulch. Home Depot has a great selection in all types of colors. I found the mulch I needed (in stock and on sale) and was in and out of the store in less than 15 minutes. Cashier was friendly and the service was spot-on. I'm impressed.

Save your time and money and go to Lowe's.Needed some straw bales and Lowe's didn't quite have enough so figured I'd head on over to home Depot. Lowe's straw bales we're $7. Home depots are $12 for a bale that was the same size. Lowe's helped me load them onto my truck. Home Depot did not. And to top it all off, the one singular guy at checkout was taking selfies with people who weren't even customers so getting to checkout took more than a couple minutes even though I was the only person in line and i kept getting looked at like I was the weird one for just trying to stand in line.

Update 6/21 - service seems to have improved. Staff have been more engaging and helpful the last several months, upgrading to 5 stars.We love The Home Depot, one of our favorite spots but service at this location is very hit or miss. Customer service can be excellent (doors and windows, the customer service desk, cashiers as well as rental departments stand out) but is pretty much non-existent when you need help finding something, reaching something cutting keys, wood or pretty much anything other than the positives mentioned above.

I really like their plants. For hardware type store they've got a good variety and each time that I've been there the plants have been very healthy. Sometimes you'll find really larger vegetable plants that are in the smaller containers which of course cost less. That is always nice.

We have shopped at this Home Depot many times and have received consistently good service. Today my husband experienced exceptional customer service, as he had not one, but three staff members help load his car. He said the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
