I was referred here because of when I purchased my dog. This animal hospital has been examining & treating my "Lucy" since her birth. I was very happy to keep her going here. In fact, because of their great service, I bought my male dog "Lazlo" to be seen by this place regularly now. Driving there could take me between 30 minutes to an hour and a half getting there depending on timing and traffic on 95, but it's so worth it! Staff is loving and affectionate towards your animals, making them feel loved and comfortable for whatever upcoming issue or check-up they might have. I am also amazed by the fact that they can see both of my large dogs at the same time or even in tandem quickly getting me & my dogs in and out without delay. The doctor & staff are always enthusiastic to answer any and all of my concerns for my other children with fur LOL. I would definitely recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone and everyone.

I absolutely love this place. The staffs amazing and Dr DJ knows her stuff. She tells you exactly what you need to do to help your fur babies..and she's always been right. This place isn't in it for the money. So happy to have found this place.100% satisfied

1. Only one person allowed inside per pet. I understood this type of thing at the height of the pandemic, but not in 2024. My husband and I both took off of work to go & essentially wasted time off since this policy was not communicated beforehand.2. I wasn't impressed with the outrageous diagnosis including the concept to euthanize a fairly healthy dog (according to other vets and also perceptible by the average person). We elected to get a second opinion which was much more in line with what other veterinary experts had said. Note that Dr. Christina attended "Ross (Veterinary) School... [which] appeals to many students with low stats who couldn't get accepted to U.S. (vet) schools." Had I known this beforehand, we wouldn't have given this vet a second of our time.3. Cost more for a routine visit than it would have at the emergency vet. Regardless, all vets have given preliminary costs before we got to the counter, but the fees seemed hidden until checkout here.4. Refused to send prescription to Chewy/PetCareRX. Christina Del Nero Johnson was insistent for a paper copy to be picked up. Again, we both work & having to go out that way would mean at least an hour of travel time there and back. All of our other vets have sent electronic prescriptions that we were able to have delivered.5. Overall, poor "bedside manner". You're dealing with family pets. I couldn't believe how callous and rude specifically Christina "DJ" Del Nero Johnson was. She clearly has an attitude towards any opinion different than hers.Obviously, we will not be back.

Honestly the best vet clinic I have ever been too. I love all of the staff, they are always so very understanding of my dogs anxious behaviour and give her plenty of love. The best part is my dog absolutely loves her vet. PLEASE consider Stafford Animal Hospital for your pets, you won't regret it.

I came back to this office after having moved and been away for about 10 years- Dr. DJ is amazing, and genuinely cares about the pets that come through her doors. She is direct and does not sugarcoat anything when it comes to your pets care and health even if it might make you uncomfortable with yourself... and I think that is something that isn't appreciated or respected enough in veterinary medicine- we need more vets in the world like Dr. DJ. Seriously. I wish I had come back sooner.

As someone whose worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years the standard of care my pets have received here is far less than adequate. Dr. DJ never returned my call when I left her a message regarding my complaint and I had to email the office to get a response. They aren’t open to constructive criticism about things they can improve upon. I’ll leave it at that. I’ll be seeking veterinary care elsewhere.

Love Dr. DJ! Shes super patient with my dogs and doesn't try to force unnecessary treatments. My lab is super anxious and very dog aggressive and Dr. DJ is super patient and accommodating. They also offer military discount on Tuesday so even better!

We took our family cat Samson of 13 years here when he suddenly became sick with a runny eye, refusal to eat, and a swollen face. Initially, Dr. DJ diagnosed him with a tooth abscess and prescribed him antibiotics. After completing the first round of medications, Samson's condition was not improving and he was still unable to eat, so Dr. DJ prescribed him new antibiotics. Still he was not doing well and we were unable to administer the medications because he was in so much pain. We took him back, and after further examination, Dr. DJ informed us that she had misdiagnosed Samson - that he did not have a tooth abscess, but instead had cancer. We had to have him put down that day. They charged us for the initial treatment of the misdiagnosis, the second round of antibiotics, and to have Samson cremated. Dr. DJ ensured us that we would have a paw print made to memorialize Samson. Today, we went to pick up Samson's ashes, and they did not have a paw print made. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of care that my family and our beloved pet received. This facility should have at least given us a discount for misdiagnosing our pet and prolonging his suffering, and on top of that they did not follow through with their promises. Samson was a very important member of our family and was deeply loved, but it seems like Dr. DJ and the staff here were very disorganized, did not communicate clearly, and did not care for the well-being of our pet. I would not recommend anyone come to this establishment after the lack of care we received here.

Short answer: Would recommend to anybody in the Stafford area.Detailed answer: Overall good quality work, at a price that is a little steep for what is needed. My example is the medication required for my dog was $142, but the online price was $85. I understand an inflated price for convenience of in person, inventory turn around, and even paying employees, but a $60 increase is beyond my understanding. My only other qualm with this location is the lack of timeliness. I have been here a couple of times, and the vet techs are great. The veterinarian that has helped us is very knowledgeable, and the staff does not talk down to you in a manner that reminds you that you know a minimal amount of information within their career path. The only reasons that I cannot give 5 is because of the pricing as well as the few times that I have came here, I arrive 10 minutes prior to my appointment, call inside once parked (for covid reasons), and then proceed to wait roughly 20 minutes later than my scheduled appointment before my pet/pets are even seen.

I was sad I had to find a new Vet when I moved states. Dr. DJ is amazing! She takes her time with each pet and really cares about her clients! She went above and beyond when my cat passed away and treated my other senior cat marvelously. She listens to all concerns and questions without judgement. There was only one office staff that ever gave me trouble as well in several years. They had no billing issues in my years, it was great! Highly recommend!

The facility is clean and very presentable, but it is the staff that makes this place shine. All of the staff are very professional and obviously care about the animals and the owners. I watched the vet and one of the other staff members provide a woman with the ashes of her pet, explain what everything was in the package she received, and comforted the woman. It was very touching.In a time when customer service does not seem to be a priority, it is awesome to see people who take pride in their work and care about their customers. I will continue to provide them with my business for as long as I have pets.

The Ladies here commented on the fact that the reason there is candy at the front desk is because of my Father In Law. All of the employees at this place deserve a raise!! They are very thorough & make your pet comfortable. EVERY employee remembered not just 1of our dogs names, but both of them! Great service, friendly staff & a more than comfortable environment for both your pet & yourself!! I recommend this place to anyone!!

Needed to take my Dane mix and he has horrid anxiety and leash aggression. Very friendly, clean, professional, and understanding staff and office in general my husband and I loved the trip, price is like the usual around an estimated 150 for all the basics. Knew how to handle my dogs anxiety as well. Great staff love them. Will be using them for our vet office from now on. Also recommended trainer when needed and answered questions for a patient they didn't have their, I highly recommend using this office.

When I first took my cat in I had a wonderful experience. The front desk lady was out of the world and so was the vet. Two weeks later something serious is going on with her so I called the vet to see if they could look at her today and run some blood work. Most vets will have you kennel your animal there for serious problems and get to them throughout the day. I told the front desk gentleman than my cat has not eaten for several days now, low water intake, lethargic, labored breathing, and urinated outside of her litter box. The man on the phone told me that their earliest appointment is Friday. What is the point of having a vet when something is very wrong with your animal and you can’t get in right away?

I take my dog here for shots and for the boarding facility. All the employees are very sweet with him and I feel that I am leaving him in trusted hands. The prices are reasonable and usually when I take him in for his check ups the wait is never long. All around great place and great employees!

If no stars were a thing I wouldn’t give any. Staff was rude from the start. The so called Dr. DJ is rude hey are overpriced in all areas. One of my dogs tested positive for hookworms, after a little research she showed no signs or symptoms. We took her for a second opinion where she was found negative for everything. Stafford Animal Hospital is only out for one thing, money. They will give shots without your consent and tell you your dogs are overweight without even touching them but just by looks (I have a golden retriever/ chow mix that is extra fluffy). At the end of the appointment I asked for the dogs records of what was done and they wouldn’t give them to me until I told them I would not be back! If you decide to go here watch yourself, your pet, and especially your pocket book.

Moved to the area and left a wonderful vet, after my first visit I’m excited to find another great one here! The staff was great and the everyone was not only kind they listened to me and answered all my questions. Looking forward to future appointments.
