I've been going here for years. Alexis has been wonderful with our dogs, they have always enjoyed spending time with the groomers and other dogs hanging out in the shop. This has been the only groomer my dogs have ever came home relaxed from. Even after losing two of my dogs and my last baby going deaf and blind she always makes my little Ladybug comfortable and feel like the only dog there. If your looking for a groomer in the area there is no better then Alexis at aquia grooming.

I used to take my dog to the pet supply store for grooming and it became a hassle with booking appointments and cost. I decided to take a chance on a local groomer and I'm so happy I did. Aquia Grooming was friendly, loving, and so accommodating. I called asking if there was any availability for same day and Alexis fit me in. She was awesome from the moment we met. Loved working with her and will absolutely be back. I was extremely happy with the cost, care, and service. As an added bonus, she took Christmas pictures of my baby.

Best grooming service I’ve found for my picky Pomeranian. The staff is so friendly and helpful and my dog and I both love our monthly visits for a full groom. He behaves so well for them and I think it’s definitely because of how well they treat all the fur babies. I always feel safe leaving him. The facility is secure with bell only entry and a second door and gate to keep the dogs in. They are free to play with the other dogs there for services or be in a crate. It’s a great open space low stress environment. My baby always leaves happy and ready for a nap after all the great social time. They even will take a special pic included with your grooming at no extra charge. Absolutely worth every penny—a groom, playtime and a picture. Can’t be beat!!!

Our fur babies' first official grooming, and they look fantastic. Alexis and the other staff members are friendly, communicate well, and care very well for Kate, Molly, Lily, and Maximus. They understood circumstances and adjusted with professionalism. I love the photo shoots so so much. Please visit them for your grooming. It's so worth it. Thank you for taking care of our babies.

Alexis is absolutely amazing! She treats my dogs like royalty! My dogs have been going there for over two years. Alexis is so caring towards my dogs and she goes the extra mile by taking themed pictures and making cards from my fur babies. Both dogs always come out so refreshed. Alexis listens to the type of cut I want on my small dog and he always gets a lot of compliments. I have recommended Alexis and her team!

Alexis is the best groomer around! My cat can be a little hot head sometimes but with her he is calm cool and collected. He enjoyed his first spa day and as an indoor cat he was pampered even more than usual! He gets treated with so much love and attention. I get texts along the way letting me know how my guy is doing and at the end I get pictures from his day! I won’t take him to anyone else because he is treated like family here. He is so relaxed now at home just sitting and relaxing and not to mention smelling amazing and it is all due to Alexis and all the hard work and love she put into his spa day

We couldn't be happier with the services Alexis and her team provide! We have two pups that have been going to their "spa days" with Aquia Grooming for a few months after leaving a groomer that was too rough on my babies! We never have an issue with Aquia Grooming. Recently we adopted a Shih tzu that was abused. I stressed my concern with Alexis and she assured me that our girl would be well taken care of. Everyone at Aquia Grooming was so patient and kind with our girl. I highly recommend their services!

Aquia Groomers is awesome for my pug and me. The staff is fantastic, and they continuously groom her per my specific needs. Since moving to Stafford, these were the first groomers I tried, and I never left. She always smells like heaven. Great groomers!

This is by far the best groomer in stafford— we are so happy to have found them. The big name groomers weren’t reliable for a good cut and for some reason would say our dog wasn’t manageable. Alexis always does an amazing job, treats our little Kiera like her own, and has never once said our dog didn’t behave well. The dogs have freedom and don’t sit in a cage after grooming which we love. I’ve only ever seen happy pups in the back room— playing with toys and wagging tails. Kiera is so excited to go to the groomers now and just thinks she is going to have a visit with her best friend Alexis. Also I would like to say that while Alexis is our go-to and has been for over a year, we have had other staff members who have been just as wonderful!! Thank you guys so much for taking such good care of our little Kiera!

I had an amazing experience at the salon! My dog Duchess is an 11 year old cocker spaniel who is my child since I don’t have any children. Unfortunately, she does suffer from severe grand mal seizures and is heavily medicated which leaves me a very overprotective fur mama. We recently moved to the area and for a while I was taking her to her previous groomer half an hour away. Duchess anxiety, age and health was not a good combo to commute. My neighbors told me about Aquia Grooming and that they were family owned, genuinely love what they do and take that extra step to ensure that not only is the grooming perfect but that they leave happy. Many cocker spaniels have skin issues such as sebaceous cysts which makes her miserable. She does get a allergy shot every other month along with a prescription itch spray but she’s always still miserable. Started aging around each eight and this is the first time I have seen her coach glow shine look moisturized and she went to weeks without digging in her skin. Her stylist offered me a deep conditioner or exfoliation which worked wonders ! Her and she spots are no longer scabbed over, she’s able to sleep with the night without jumping up to scratch and overall she seems happier possibly due to the fact that she can be carefree and not have to worry about itching. I am a tough reviewer and expect nothing but the best for Duchess. I can honestly say that this place is so phenomenal! Not only did she get groomed but she also received a discount due to the location of where we’re living. Then Kat her stylist blew me away! DUCHESS TOOK A NAP & adapted fine in that cage free environment. That extra measure was taken and they went above and beyond and insured she was walked, Highwater and even got socialization which never happens for her. At times we get too comfortable and we do not want to change a routine but I’m very glad that I found this grooming salon.Both the young women that worked in the salon were empathetic, genuine & professional! Wanted to leave an appreciation post for Alexis. I am so lucky to have found THE groomer for my golden doodle Rosy. She is 5 going on 6 and we have finally found someone who won’t make her shake in fear when going to the groomers. She RUNS in and gets excited now which blows my mind each time. And I can’t imagine the work it takes for the doggies to pose like this for every backdrop Alexis does. Rosy won’t pose like that with me!! I am so lucky to have found such a personable and professional groomer here in Stafford! She love my baby like her own!!! Look at my baby for the 4th of July 😍

Alexis and the rest of the team here is the nicest, most genuine and professional team ever. My mini golden doodle used to shake to the core as soon as we parked at any other groomer and it broke my heart to leave her there by herself in the kennel. Aquia grooming allows my dog to free play with other dogs until it’s her time! She now RUNS in to the groomers!!! It’s a miracle truly. On top of that, look at what she got from her recent appointment. And look at how amazing she looked for her birthday party! They’re the absolute sweetest. We CAN NOT go anywhere else!!!

My corgi-chihuahua can be a handful when it comes to getting nails trimmed but the staff at Aquia grooming are patient and quick to get the job done! I am grateful they are able to take her in and treat her nicely despite her temperament. 10/10 recommend

Another great day for Puff at Aquia grooming! Thanks to them Puff went from being jumpy and snappy to calm and well behaved when being groomed. They always care for him like he was their own. He has learned to enjoy the stress free cage free grooming and has made so many doggie friends big and small. It’s always a pleasure to come in every month and see how well all the fur babies get along. We are so thankful for Aquia grooming!

This is a great groomer! My dog loves going, and I love that she’s getting a really good bath and comes home with well trimmed hair, and afterwards, she’s exhausted and naps the rest of the day away, because she got to play with the other dogs. I also love that I get these cute Photo Booth type pictures every time she goes!

Last fall I got my Poodle Cinnabon, and if you know Poodles, you know they are high maintenance and require routine maintenance appointments! 🤣Cinnabon gets car sick/anxiety, so it was important that we stay local and the groomers had experience with various doodle/poodle cuts. I found Aquia Grooming last fall and have been returning since! Alexis and the rest of the staff are great and take good care of Cinnabon. We recently got her cleaned up for her ‘Summer in Miami’. They’re competitively priced, believe in an ‘open concept’ grooming, meaning your dog, unless you prefer, will not be crated/caged throughout their time there, giving them time to interact with other pups and get that stimulation while also making the experience a lot easier on your pup, and accept walk ins for nail clippings etc.Give them a shout and I promise, you won’t be disappointed. Take a look at this transformation and remember to always Tip ya Groomer!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to in this case. Love this place!! It’s the only salon I will ever take my fur babies to and now so does the rest of my family and friends. One of my dogs is special needs and the other is super reactive. I was really impressed with the way the staff handled the needs of my babies since their behaviors do range so widely. They didn’t have a problem and my animals felt comfortable right away with them. My pets are truly like my babies and I’m a helicopter mom but you can be assured Aquia Grooming will set your mind at ease. They are professional, hospitable and offer the best service I’ve ever had from a grooming place. Their rewards program alone is enough to keep me coming back. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve never left a review on before on a salon because I was never super satisfied with the service, but this was way different. My dog has very bad anxiety and he’s always had trouble being groomed while still managing to look half way decent. I figured this would be the case at any salon as I’ve tried quite a few. When I went to Aquia grooming I was ready for them to tell me my dog was a lot of trouble and to bill me for the extra hassle like other groomers have before. But when I came back and heard no complaints, I was shocked that my dog felt totally comfortable with them. And that was just one thing that made me write this review. Other than that, my dog looked better than ever before. Aquia grooming handled my dog very well and I would definitely recommend going there if you have a high anxiety dog like me, or any dog at all. They definitely earned another two customers.🐶

Aquia Grooming in Stafford, VA, has been my go-to place for grooming my Yorkie, and they generally do a good job. They've groomed my pup several times, and while most of the time the length is just right, there have been a couple of instances where it was a tad too short.The staff is friendly and seems genuinely caring towards the pets they groom. The facility is clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for both pets and customers.While there have been minor hiccups in achieving the ideal length for my Yorkie's fur, overall, I appreciate their effort and dedication. I believe they genuinely care about the well-being of the pets they groom.Aquia Grooming provides a convenient and reasonably reliable grooming service for pets in Stafford, and I'll likely continue to visit in the future. With a bit more consistency in the length of the grooming, it could easily earn that fifth star! 🐾🐶🛁

Alexis and her team are exceptional groomers. They are patient and loving with our dog Zora as if she was their own. Zora loves going to see them! They always add the extra touches with seasonal themed pictures once she’s groomed and snazzy bandanas.They do a fabulous job keeping Zora gorgeous. She is always trimmed neatly and is the best smelling Dog on the block! No issues coming home with itchy skin or picking up bugs…the place is clean and well run! Everytime I'm here to get my various pets' nails trimmed, my pets and I feel very looked after! The groomers are always fast, very kind, and treat my animals like their own. Last time I brought my dog, they also made her smell really nice and put a lil bandana on her! Great place 👌
