Dan's is the well-run, privately held pharmacy situated between two giant CVS stores which are quite out-classed by the thoughtful staff and owners at Dan's. They even operate a drive-thru, although we never use since the store front is so easily accessible. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about publicly singing Dan's praises...they seem to have plenty enough regular customers!

I tried this pharmacy and found out quick how very rude and unprofessional they are by observation. When I asked around about their reputation with others I found out I wasn’t the only one treated poorly. I would never shop at that business ever again, and absolutely never recommend a friend or stranger

Dan’s Pharmacy is the best Pharmacy around! You will not find a better hometown pharmacy in this area, not just for all medicine needs but all needs. The staff there is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and they are always willing to help! We have been using them for a long time and will continue to use them and recommend them. The staff there always goes out of their way to make sure we have what we need to feel better. They also carry an array of items such as gel pads for shoes which we need for growth issues with one of our kids.

We purchased a nebulizer from Dan’s Wellness Pharmacy last week. The nebulizer was broken out of the box, we tried to make a return and we’re told they don’t accept products that are used. The associate was in no way helpful.How does one know a product doesn’t work if you don’t use it?Warning: Do not purchase equipment here.

I called to ask about pricing for a medication and the person who answered the phone cut me off and rudely said we don't do that here"..I thought I would try Dan's first because they are local. I have never been there before and based on that call, I won't ever choose them to fill a rx again. Customer Service and respect is everything. If the answer is no...thats fine but don't be rude about it.

My relative is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force and he does not drive for health reasons, he went to pick up his medicine at DAN'S pharmacy since it is closer to home and unfortunately they did not want to give the medication to him, since they do not want to accept their identification as a military retired, (the ID that we have is a military Federal ID) they want the driving license and no other identification.Unfortunately this pharmacy is not friendly with the military, they do not respect and do not want to accept the identification that our insurance TRICARE (military Federal ID), since they say they are not inside the military bace.They do not recommend this pharmacy to the military community or their appreciable families dependent on you because they will give you a hard time like us.Keep in mind that here in this area there are many military families.

Great local neighborhood pharmacy. Always had great experiences at this place and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Michelle at the front end is awesome and went out of her way to order a medical supply item, which nobody in town had. Highly recommend!!!

Dans Pharmacy has the best staff and gives you that small town pharmacy feeling. Highly recommend them and it also helps keep this local small business going. Also they can do compounds which is something you won’t find at these big chain locations.

Great service and prices! My newborn had a prescription for a compounded medication that most chain pharmacies cannot make/order. Dan's Wellness Pharmacy had it completed within a couple of hours (and I know compounds usually take a long time) I was honestly expecting it to take at least 24 hours. I really appreciate the effort they put in to get this done so quickly for my baby!

I recently transferred a script to Dan’s that has for years been filled by the awful national chain pharmacy down the street. I immediately received a text from Dan’s, letting me know that my prescription was ready for pick up. Then I received a text welcoming me as a new customer. Since then I have found that prescriptions are always filled quickly and communication is excellent and prompt. I love Dan’s Pharmacy.

I've been going to Dan's Wellness pharmacy well over a year and I've always been treated me with the utmost respect! This is one of the best pharmacy's in the Stafford VA area. All pharmacists & staff worker are very professional & extremely informative!They sell everything imaginable, from the best brand name vitamins, creams, oils, first aid, medical supplies, etc. You name it, Dan's Wellness sells it. There is no better pharmacy in Stafford Virginia. No where else can you walk in and have a prescription filled in 10 minutes. I wish Dan would open more locations. The only issue ever here is them being out of a medicine which is never the fault of the pharmacy but manufacturer availability.

Dan’s is great! I’m so happy to support local business and get great personalized service. I have to visit there quite often and I get my meds quickly, they are great about coupons or special circumstances, and very quick to answer any questions. They have an app where you can text the pharmacy and request refills so it’s really easy to reach out and get what you need. I don’t have to wait on hold forever and waste time on the phone trying to explain who am I and what I need like a lot of the big pharmacies I’ve used in the past. I moved further from them and still stick with Dan’s, it’s an easy decision!

Have been using Dan's Wellness as my sole pharmacy for the past six years. The staff, every one of them, is friendly and knowledgeable. When I walk in, I feel like I'm on the set of "Cheers". Everybody knows my name and gives a warm greeting. That, in and of itself, makes me feel better. Besides medication, I take other supplements recommended by my physician. Whenever I have a question about a product, they provide me with a quick answer, or, if they are not sure, they check with the pharmacist or pharm tech. Turnaround times are quick and accurate. If they say, "We'll need 10 minutes to fill your Rx", take it to the bank. I will never use a chain pharmacy again. They also have a great stock of other medical supply items. Dan's is the place to go. Thank you!

I have been using Dan's for years. I ended up moving down south and CVS was my only option. I can't stand CVS they don't care for people like they should. I shouldn't have to wait 2 hours for 1 prescription. Dan's is fast and they truly care about there Military. My dad is marine always will be. Even tho he is a civilian now. They treat him with the utmost respect. Thank you so much for being in our community.

I have been a customer of Dan’s Pharmacy for a number of years. The young lady at the window was very nice, upbeat and friendly. I was surprised when I got home to find out the Flonase that was part of the order was not in the bag. All I saw was a note that Flonase is OTC. Not sure why she did not also include it in the bag with the other prescriptions my doctor called in. I always use the drive-thru.

We have been using Dan's Wellness for 10 plus years, the standards have really gone down hill. They now have have decided that they will not call you when a prescription is ready. Also the staff is not the same, spoke with someone named Cammi that seem like she could care less. I realize no one can be as good a Pat, who was friendly and caring. Frankly if they don't call you or use the computer system they have to notiify you your prescription(s) is ready, then you end up bothering your staff by calling to see if something is ready. Now how is that efficient. They know they got you as customer because they are one of the few compounders around for pets.

Always wonderful to deal with such a caring staff. Purchased a nebulizer minutes before they closed and the pharmacist took extra time to explain all phases of using the equipment. I called ahead of time and they had the unit out and ready for me. They filled my Albuterol prescription in minutes and I’m so thankful for their great care and concern. Best pharmacy ever. Rude pharmacist or aid (who knows) - I called for my wife who was suffering from covid. She received a text on a medication that was ready and asked for me to call and find out what it was. When I got a live person I greeted HER and explained why I was calling she replied back " I can't tell you that! You are not the patient !!!!" I was taken back as to how rude her answer was. I paused - she did not saying anything and I replied back " ok thank you." -She could of nicely said " I apologize unfortunetly we are not allowed to disclose that information because you are not the patient."Get a new Job "Karen" if you hate it there so much- In addition do not blame the holiday rush for your rudeness- Kindness goes a long way. You do not know anyones situation. I could have been calling because my spouse was on a ventilator fighting covid and they could not physically call themselves. Shame on you for being so heartless- short and rude to people.

Dan's has a lot of health essentials in what appears to be a small space. They are very "user-friendly". I've called after just having surgery, unable to go inside, and they have put together the items I needed and held at the front counter so I could send my husband in to pick and pay (he would not have a clue about the gathering of these things.). They are very friendly and offer to help the moment you go in the store! I would recommend to anyone looking for a progressive pharmacy/drugstore with lots of alternative options.

My preferred pharmacy. I used them again today. My Dr. sent them my prescription. I went through the drive-up, showed my ID and paid and I was on my way. So easy! This business is a big part of our community. During COVID Dan and his wife had bags of groceries out for those in need. I use them anytime I need a prescription filled.

Sadly I have been forced to leave Dan's pharmacy due to their policy on filling certain medications. The policy to run a prescription out the full 30 days before refill is simply not rational in the real world. Due to their lack of Sunday hours I have had my prescription delayed multiple times until the following week.When you are on a medication that causes extreme side effects when you do not have it and have a pharmacy that gives ZERO leeway in regard to filling in 30 days it causes a great deal of unnecessary anxiety about when your medicine will be taken care of.So, sadly, a customer that was there when Dan first made the plunge and opened up will be forced to move over to CVS. It greatly pains me to do this; however, it seems they do not have the power to do anything about this issue and CVS does not have the same problems.I thank Dan and his staff for many years of outstanding service and hope them further success down the road
