I have shopped here for years and never had any problems until last weekend. I picked up some new fish that have infected my tank with ich parasites. All my fish are now infected and I am facing a 16 week plus decontamination process to get them all healthy. These photos are of my pet Paco who I’ve had for over four years and I am praying he makes it through the night. He is a strong fish and look at him- he caught this parasite from the PetSmart on frontier. Avoid at all costs- DO NOT get fish here if you care about your tank. This is extremely unethical for the store to do this and I am weighing my options to report them to the county.

I took my dog, a Lab-Hound mix, to get groomed at this location while visiting my parents. I picked him up from getting only a bath and brush, so not cutting necessary because he has fine hair and picked him up with a 2 cm cut on his neck. Didn’t call me when they finished and was poor at answering their phones.

Petsmart always has a nice clearance section and good things on sale. During this trip they even had a Santa Claus who my dog absolutely loved. She's a big dog now, but she really wanted to sit in his lap and give him kissed. Special Thanks to the Santa and helper who made sure I got great photos! Please do not make the mistake I did and bring your puppy here. I made a 3 pm bath & brush appointment with Crystal and was told my puppy would be ready at 5:30, as it was his first grooming and we didn’t know how he’d do. 5:20 rolls around and no call, 5:45 no call, 6 pm were getting worried, and finally 6:15 I call the grooming department. My poor puppy has been there for 3 hours for a BASIC service. At 6:15 pm they tell me he’s in the dryer and it will be an extra 20 minutes so I can come at closing time, which is 7 pm. I’m sorry- WHAT?! If he’s just now drying, did he just recently get out of the bath? What was my puppy doing for the past 3 hours?! Just absolutely absurd.We arrive close to closing as the groomer requested, and my puppy STILL was not done. He was the last dog there. It was clear they had forgotten about him and left him god knows where waiting for hours to be groomed. If they were not ready to take my dog in at 3 pm, they should have just called and asked and we would have returned at a better time. Oh and catch this, Crystal had LEFT during the service?! Why is the website allowing to book with her if she needed to leave?!The worst part of all - this was a bath and brush. Absolutely NO WHERE was my puppy supposed to be cut or shaved in the face. Whatever groomer was left, since Crystal left, took it upon himself to shave off my puppy’s entire eye area. My puppy looks terrible and looks like a completely different breed. His eyebrows were the cutest thing and they’re now completely shaved off. So upsetting and will probably take forever to grow back. My puppy was silent and sad the whole way home and all night, he is usually crazy energetic but he was not himself. 4 hours to not even look nice is absurd and ridiculous.Had I known better I would have paid an additional $30-$40 to go somewhere else more professional and timely. Extremely disappointed and will NEVER be returning to the grooming salon at PetSmart Springfield. Please do yourself a favor and do not come either.

I went to this Petsmart yesterday to buy supplies for our new puppy. I just wanted to commend Marie at the cashier desk for her outstanding customer service. She was so patient with me and all my purchases-helped me find coupons to save money and gave me tons of info on how Petsmart can help us train our puppy. She was wonderful and we’ll definitely be back to this location just because of her amazing service!

Their stock is unreliable, their staff are often hard to find or to get to help, their prices are high for most things, and the last couple times I visited there was some sort of large mess or heinous smell (but not the same one). There are better pet stores, heck there better PetSmart's, a short distance away. I suggest you patron them instead.

Great selection and mostly friendly staff. I take my dogs here for grooming and sometimes for day camp. The play area is a little small for the number of dogs they have in there, but not excessively so. The groomers have done a generally good job with both my pups.

I was just in petsmart to buy food for my dog. The lady at the register seems to not be very happy. I said hi to her and the first thing out of her mouth is. "Do you have a phone number with us" After the transaction... Not, " have a good day" Nothing... the same thing with next customer. It was just kind of sad

Quick & easy for many items. Crickets for lizards, cat adoption, and a lot of dog treat choices. Bought a 2ft long subsandwich for the 12lb Yorkie & he loved destroying it!

Puppy daycare? Why yes please! Love their daycare here. The staff they have truly care about what they are ring and about your furkids. I can't tell you how many times I have come by to check on my little fluff balls and they are always happy and having a blast. Best part they sleep so well when they get home... literally pasted out

The Springfield PrtSmart has an incredibly helpful staff. I went into the Springfield PrtSmart to look at litter pans for kittens, Margery was the perfect person to recommend a cat litter pan. Thanks Margery and PetCo: you ARE the EXPERTS!!

This place has the rudest young male cashier. I understand it the 4th of July at 5pm, but there's no reason to have an attitude to ring my purchase of bags dog treats and not even placing it in the bag or offer a bag. I have to do it my self..

I can always get an appointment when PetSmart in Springfield, VA. They're knowledgeable and helpful on the phone when you have any questions. I know that my dog is in great hands with all the doctors and vet staff. No matter what questions that I have they don't make me feel like I'm taking up their time and are very personable.

The best experience ever !We checked in our female Rottweiler to this location. Never visited before this was our first time as we are traveling.We were greeted by Benitta and Angela. The check in process was seamless, Benitta took our girl into the play area to let her become familiar with the surroundings. As we watched from outside the play area, Zoey was fetching a ball, running, playing with Benitta. At this point my wife felt comfortable leaving our dog there in their care.Thank you to Benitta and Angela for looking after our girl.

Do not buy fish from here. I bought three of the same kind, one was dead by the time I got home (15 minute drive), and the other two are deceased within two weeks. Here is a graphic image that represents my frustration. We were also told they were no longer honoring their ‘14-day fish guarantee’ due to COVID (I assume), but this is ridiculous.

Good place. They even did an even exchange on a bag of dog food that we had already opened not knowing that we had bought the wrong type. Which was very helpful because dog food is insanely expensive.

Excellent customer service but their mealworms need to be checked daily or every other day. After checking atleast 5 of them I noticed that many of them were were wither dead or no where near to the number advertised on the container.

A nice store. It's not as clean as the store in Woodbridge. Nor is it stocked or staffed as well as Woodbridge either. Nothing bad, just a few things I noticed.
