Let's start with the store itself; it's clean, organized, and lovely to just walk around and admire. You can tell that Adam has so much passion and love for what he does. He’s also extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to saltwater fish, setups, installation, and anything else, he’s your guys. I went in with my husband because our corals and fish were dying and we were on the verge of giving up the hobby entirely. Adam and Greg assisted us in resolving the problem, and we left feeling confident and hopeful, which is something we haven't felt in a long time because all the other stores just push you to buy random items instead of actually giving you proper advice. Adam gave us great advice and suggestions without making like we needed to buy anything from him, wasn’t pushy at all, didn’t make us feel embarrassed, ashamed or stupid because of our mistakes (which other stores would do). He put us at ease and encouraged us to continue our saltwater aquarium adventure. Those two men deserve all the kind words, but I'll keep it brief. This is my new and permanent favorite aquatic store in the DMV area.

I have been to over a dozen saltwater and coral stores. This store has the best selection of healthy fish and coral I have seen. They are extremely nice and will go out of their way to help you.Don’t go anywhere else. The best prices I have seen. They even have used equipment at fantastic prices. I picked up two spotted mandarin gobies and a skimmer and will keep coming back! Customer for life. Check this place out!

Adam knows what hes doing when it came to rebuilding the plumbing for inwall tank that i inherited with my house, But he introduced snails into my tank with his aquascaping and when i called him about it he left me high and dry to figure it out on my own. Prior to this we had come to an agreement that he would come out biweekly to service the tank but after 3 visits including the aquascaping he disappeared even after several texts and phone calls. sadly lost 4 of my fish and had to end up moving the remaining ones to a smaller tank that i could maintain myself.If he kept up with communication and honored the agreement we had this definitely couldve been a 5 star review.

Great selection of corals and fish for great prices! Absolutely a must visit aquarium store for anyone in the reefing hobby! Adam was super passionate and informative. Best store I’ve been to in the DMV and it looks like it’s only going to get better. Excited to go back.

This business is all around great. Staff is very knowledgeable and honest! Went in and knew little to nothing,, I left feeling so much more confident in my tank. They don't try to upsale anything because they want the best for their animals. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you to Adam and his staff!

Really enjoyed my first experience shopping at AquaHaus. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Doesn't make newer hobbyists feel 'less-than' (like some others I won't mention). Planning another visit soon!

Great store, highly recommended. Healthy livestock that is fully quarantined with great coral selection. Havent lost a fish or coral from this store ever.

Aquahaus is coming along, and Adam is performing miracles on the transformation. Great selection of corals, but would also recommend the store for used reef equipment (for new hobbyists), especially with plumbing parts, skimmers, lighting, ATOs, etc.
