This is not a bad grocery store. It's always clean and the people are nice. I just had to say something about the price of these potato wedges. Absolutely insane. I paid 62 cents a potato wedge. That's probably more expensive than the chicken wings I bought, for potatoes. I feel like this must be a mistake. What's the profit margin on that like 8 million percent? That's the same price as your medium rare roast beef.

As normal, this store has what I need. Service is normally great. But... ole cashier 0134 must be one miserable individual. The attitude was clear with zero words said and haste towards anything scanned. If 0134 hates people and her job that much, then SHE should consider doing something else. Instead of ruining anyones day that encounters her

The employees are polite and helpful, and the store is generally clean & easy to navigate (I've never experienced blocked aisles or had trouble with accessibility within). What I really like is the hours of operation. Most all grocery stores close much earlier now, since the pandemic changed hours. Also, most stores, for some reason, still haven't gone back to their original hours. I would give this store 5★, however, the only thing that prevents me from doing so, is that I've often had to go elsewhere for items on a shopping trip, due to the shelves not being stocked.

I only use this store in a pinch. Poorly stocked and carry limited varieties of food products. I drive 25 minutes to another county to buy groceries.

last visit shelves not stocked..moldly produce .. and horrible customer service. and refused to help me load my groceries as promised before I checked out but once I did said no one could help me. i have fractured back and i struggled outside and hurt my back more. I'll go to Lake Ann's location instead as they usually will help or I'll go to wegmans or publix as their customer service is outstanding.

Very rude employee at self check out. Had volume turned down she reached across me to raise it. I told her I don't like it loud and she said they have to hear it. She stood there the whole time propped up on the other counter watching. If you are that worried about things not being rung up take self checkout out and do your damn job.

Bought a cheese it was well over 10 days, expired 😑. I know I could have gone back to get a refund, but it's not worth the energy driving out of the way for 5 dollars. Food lion What happened to rotating in and out? I bought it on the 12, and the sell by date was Aug 2nd.

Great grocery store. I like this one due to they have a local farmers area that carries produce grow in our state. Also it's been the only store that I have been able to find green tomatoes at.

The hot food bar here is a joke they never put hardly any sauce or seasoning on the wings or chicken compared to the lake Anna one they put minimum effort here consistently the same minimum effort every time I stop on my way home end up skipping hot bar

Love love this Food Lion. Have been shopping here for over 10 years. Left VA for a bit. Came back and all Food Lions were gone except this location 😁. The store is always bright, clean, uncluttered, stocked and fronted. The produce and meat departments have fresh, great selections. The associates have a genuineness to their attitude. Genuinely positive, helpful, quick and friendly. Thank y'all, for keeping this treasure here!

If overpriced, low quality meat and produce is what you’re looking for, look no further! I spent $120 on groceries that ended up in the trash. Cucumbers were dry, tomatoes were rotten and the steaks had an awful smell (sell by date was fine). What a waste of money!

The shelves are empty and one cashier was walking from back with both hands in his pockets. I guess there no merchandise in back that he could've helped push out to the floor. It takes team work to be successful in such a large store but some workers don,t care about nothing but there selves. Only one cashier with any sort of mask protection . I started to turn around and go back home and whatever you do be very careful and not get hurt because you,re on your own

Food Lion is a neighborhood store name. Everyone is down to earth yet professional. I like the fact that when it's busy the manager always tries to open up another line for faster service. Will always be a good Lion shopper.
