Rappahannock Pizza Kitchen is connected to an adorable, cozy grocery store that exudes a farmers market vibe. While we waited for an indoor table, we explored the grocery store. Once back inside the restaurant, we opted for a shared salad and pizza. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident. Though the salad was tasty, it would have been easier to eat if they had chopped the lettuce; it was a bit challenging and messy otherwise. The homemade dressing was undoubtedly a highlight. While the pizza was fresh, next time we'll opt for one with more meat and extra cheese!

Overall ok. Was very excited to try. They told us it was going to be a 35 min wait and we end up waiting over an hour. Appetizers were amazing! We had the meatballs and the burrata. We also had a Caesar salad which was good but very warm. It took a while to get the pizzas after the appetizers. Pizza looked amazing until we started to eat them. They were globes of corn mill stuck to the bottom of the pizza that was burnt. We tried to scrape them off but it would remove the whole dough. We told our waiter and his response was “oh sorry”. This burnt corn mill ruined almost one whole pizza. I told him how disappointed I was and he said “oh sorry” and left. I don’t know if I would come back.

This place surpassed my expectations. We stopped in Sperryville for lunch, as we were staying at an inn nearby. I swear this is one of the best pizzas I’ve had, and I’ve traveled to Italy and lived in NY. Every ingredient was SO fresh. The caprese and meatballs were excellent as well. Highly recommend making a stop here! The corner store attached to the pizza shop is also adorable and had delicious fresh breads. We picked up a rosemary loaf on our way out.

We came here during the fall foliage season, and this place was very packed with people waiting in line for a while. The seasonal Brussels sprouts appetizer was amazing. The pizza dough was also very good, but the toppings were a bit underwhelmed. The IPA craft beer was good as well. Overall, it’s a nice place to eat and chat, but customers need to be prepared to wait for a while for their pizzas. (Follow me on IG ➡️ miss_dawang)

Service:We were quickly seated on a busy Sunday afternoon. Waitress checked in throughout our meal and was super friendlyVenue:Beautiful and clean restaurantFood:Cheesy bread was good- comes out looking like a pizza of its own. The pizza we ordered was the “not a margherita” one. Though the flavors were great, I felt like it was too much tomato sauce and too little mozzarella and herbs.Price:Very fair given that it’s one of the few restaurants on the way in/out of Shenandoah national parkVerdict:4.5 stars. Nice staff, clean restaurant. Pizza could be just a little bit better

Called in a Supreme Pizza for pickup and was told about 15 minutes. I got there a few minutes early and what do you know it was ready to go. Man that was a good pizza. Place looked great inside. Service was friendly and pickup and was in and out quick.Parking: Parking in the back.

Delicious! Absolutely perfect pizza after a hard hike in the Shenandoah park. I‘ll generally seek out DOP style pizza whenever I can and this is a good option. Will come again. Pear and prosciutto was especially good, if you’re looking for something slightly “adventurous” but the classics are all here. The chicken parm pizza is especially worthy of calling out. One of our pizza was a fraction overdone cooking wise but was still pretty tasty.

Great place to load up on carbs after a challenging hike! I had the hog and hive, and the toppings combo were delish. Crust was ok. The Brussels salad was excellent! My partner had the pizza with the herb pizza which I tried. A little bland. My friend said the green goddess dressing in her salad was too creamy and flavorless. I’d go again!

We waited all week for Rappahannock Pizza Kitchen to open on Friday and it was worth the wait. The pizza had an excellent crust with a good sauce texture and taste. It wasn't too sweet and complimented the crust very well. One pizza will serve two people if they have a salad. The beer selection was very good and our server Jordan was excellent. We look forward to going here again when we are in Sperryville.

POST-HIKE HOME RUN!Had an amazing "design your own" pizza, although they have quite a selection of signature and classic pizzas, calzones, pasta, salads, and appetizers. Their menu for "Francis Cocktails," wines, and craft beers will satisfy most tastes. The build our own pizzas offer quite a list of tasty and locally grown ingredients. The staff is friendlier than any pizza places that I have been in a while. And the pizza arrived at the table very fast! This craft pizza mecca and it's adjoining Country Store and Bar Francis (all one big business) are the perfect stop over when in the area, to stock up, have drinks, and/or have a tasty meal. Will be back!

This place is a gem and the pizza is amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pizza is a little pricey in my opinion but it's so good you forget about the price. I wish they were open more I can't tell you how many times I have wanted to come to RPK for lunch and they are closed. But otherwise I love the place and highly recommend it.

Real pizza, real ingredients, real people. I challenge you to find a better slice in central VA. Pies are made with local meats and vegetables in a wood fired oven and have a thin crust. The sausage one was great! There's a great spot with picnic tables out back to enjoy. Pop into the market next store for a drink of your choice. Two people can enjoy one pizza but I'd recommend one per person so you can have some breakfast the next day.

If you make a trip from DC to the Shenandoah National Park, you must include this restaurant (or another one that I have reviewed positively). Very good pizza, a good selection of wine and beer, and the adjacent store has a pleasant selection of breads and preserves among other things.

Excellent experience post old rag hike. Highly recommend as a reward post 6 hour hike. Great Supreme Pizza and traditional margarita. The pear based Pizza should really be called an arugula Pizza since that is the main ingredient. It's not baked in so it's easy to remove. Overall positive.Parking: Parking is available behind the building.

The pizza tastes great, it’s fresh and delicious. The only thing that brings it down is that the bottom of the pizza isn’t crisp and tends to get a bit soggy after a while. Now if it were Crispy this whole place would be 10/10

Best cheesy bread I’ve had in my life and that’s saying something - make sure you get the spicy. Friendly and knowledgeable staff - amazing pizza. Beautiful setting - can’t say enough good things about this place.

Loved the pizza at this place. A hidden gem for sure. Had their Omni pizza, which includes a locally made sausage, onions and sweet potatoes of all things, which all paired nicely together. Loves the chew and taste of the dough on the wood fired crust. They have a small market and bar attached and you can even get some wine from next door to enjoy with your pizza. Some of the best within 100's of miles for sure.

The best pizza place we've visited! From the cold melon soup to start with to the fresh butter lettuce salad to the wonderful 'Popeye' special pizza, we were absolutely floored for our second visit to this place in the small town of Sperryville. This is a wonderful stop following one of the many hikes along the Blue Ridge. Don't miss it!

We love this place! Drove out 2 hours to see the fall foliage and always stop here. Pizza is among the best we've ever had, Salad was fresh and well prepared. If you're in the area, don't miss RPK!Parking: Open parking behind the store for about 25 vehicles.Kid-friendliness: Lots of outdoor picnic tables for seating.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant and picnic table outdoor seating are easily accessible.

I'll let the pictures speak for itself. I ordered the pepperoni and chicken. There was hardly any of either on it. Honestly a Little Caesars Pizza has better taste. Wasn't overly busy but I had to wait 20 minutes for the waitress to take my order. I almost left. Then it took over 30 minutes to receive this pathetic excuse for a pizza. I love these mom and pop places and go out of my way to eat at them,, but in this case I cannot recommend and will never return.
