I like that this grocery store sits alone. I have small children, so I am more comfortable shopping here with them. The employees are polite and helpful. The store is clean and the aisles are organized nicely.Still my favorite Food Lion.

My wife work here, and they would lie to her 🙄 and made sure they found anything to get her to quit!! Tommy is a joke manager... all the people at this foodlion is just a joke. I will never revisit this store. Go to E Atlantic they're so much better 😌 the manager is awesome 👌 The employees are awesome as well.

This is the finest Foodlion establishment I’ve been to. However Carolyn’s customer service needs some real professional help! I was so close to grabbing the managers and and asking that they personally check me out. Because this grown woman start off my check out by throwing my ideas around and forcing things out my hands. Two other employees watch the entire process until I had enough and had to hover over her for her to realize that I was watching her make her mistakes and that I was also looking for a manager! I really hope they do something to help her respectively

LOVE LOVE THIS STORE!! BEST FOOD LION IN VIRGINIA!! ASSOCIATES ARE VERY FRIENDLY ,HELPFUL AND KNOW THEIR CUSTOMERS!.. THEY GREET CUSTOMERS FROM THE PARKING LOT TO THE ENTRANCE, IVE NEVER SEEN AN ASSOCIATE NOT FRIENDLY!! THE MANAGERS,CSM'S,ASSOCIATES ARE A1 !!.. I LITERALLY DRIVE ACROSS TOWN JUST TO GO TO MY FAVORITE FOOD LION !! NOT TO MENTION THE STORE IS VERY CLEAN AND INVITING!!..I KNOW PEOPLE THAT COME FROM OTHER COUNTIES JUST TO GROCERY SHOP HERE!! It's the only grocery in 25 miles so it is good, glad it is here. The fruit and veggies are not always as fresh as they were before Covid so just buy for a couple days. The meat often has "managers special" on some that you use or freeze right away. With all the problems of the last two years I think it is as good as possible.

Food Lion has high quality at reasonable prices. The store is always clean, even the restrooms are clean. My wife commented tonight on how shiney their apples are. The produce always looks fresh and clean. It is always well displayed.

I'm glad Food Lion made the decision to keep this store open when they took over the store on the other side of town. It is only 1/2 mile from my house so it is very convenient. The employees are nice and the store is clean.

It was wonderful!! A young woman employee put all of my groceries on the checkout counter for the cashier and then she bagged everything in my Reusable bags. It made it very quick checking out. 😊❤

Okay - I have never been a fan of Food Lion and it's true that Food Lion is the only grocery store here except for Walmart but the two Food Lion stores in South Hill have changed my mind. I can drive to bigger stores that might offer gourmet foods that Food Lion doesn't. And I do occasionally. But these two Food Lion stores offer everything you need in clean environments with very friendly service.

Ordered a cake from the bakery and they got it so wrong that they gave it to us for free. Wrong colors and didn’t even say Happy Birthday. My father was turning 60 years old and this cake was going to be the centerpiece of the celebration.

It was kind of crowded at 7 p.m. and a lot of stuff was missing off the shelves like toilet paper Hamm's beer and White Castle cheeseburgers. All and all it was a good shopping experience

South Hill Food Lion's are neat, clean and well stocked. The fruit and vegetables are much better than Walmart.
