In winter a Beautiful Sunday noon, no snow and ice, only have the relaxing in driving, we were back to North along HW95, not too much traffic, then got a chance to look around the scenery and signs, Virginia Peanuts Exit 4 at side road big sign was attracted my eyeballs, Local product’s always are my favourite experiences in discovering the world. Peanuts are so called “longevity fruit” in my education , healthy, tasty , we have so many ways to eat it, with or without shells, also there are so many cooking recipes with meat or vegetables. Eating With shells could bring me back to my childhood, the original status of my growing period, that time we only can have chance to eat it once a year, that’s in Spring Festival-similar as Christmas in North America , many friends gathered in the tea time, chatting and gaming . No doubts, carried back many bags to home … the size each piece is big, the fruits are crunchy, just like as we ate as we educated online. So great to stop and got it, as well enjoy it.

While on a road trip on Nov 6th, two friends and I stopped by The Good Earth Peanuts Store in Skippers, Virginia. They have a great selection of peanuts, jellies and jams and also country ham. Well worth the visit.

Such a cute place, not too far off I-95 in sothern VA. A huge assortment of peanuts and other nuts, salted, flavored, chocolate covered and more. The cashier gave us several samples and we ended up buying the butter roasted peanuts, chocolate covered, and chocolate peanut brittle. They had cured ham that looked really good bit we didn't buy it. Definitely worth the stop!

Recently traveled by and bought a bag of their peanuts in the shell. Got home and found them not too fresh. Called them the next day. Good selection of items. We are headed home to CT so we have not tried anything yet. But I brought a jam and some sea salt peanuts, candied pecans, peanut brittle and cashews. I found dill pickle flavored! It's cute little old run down fashion house with lots of charm to it. We spend almost 70. It's not a cheap place so hopefully it is worth the money. Will let you know when we finally try it.

I absolutely love this place. I stoo by anytime I am on 95. The staff is soo friendly and helpful. The variety of nuts, jellies, honey and other foods is amazing. They also have bacon and slices of ham. The single dipped chocolate peanuts are the best. The chocolate is smooth and creamy with just enough salt to bring it all together with the peanuts. I give them 3 thumbs up.

Wide variety of fresh homemade nuts. It’s worth a few minutes off the interstate, they even sell cokes to put your boiled peanuts in! Super friendly and down to earth folks.

Rustic peanut store only a little off the beaten path. A great selection of peanuts just about any way you can think of - the peanut brittle is positively sinful. Don't drive past this one! As they say themselves, you'd be nuts!P.S. They have cured hams, too, and a whole bunch of other good stuff.

Hop & Skip off I95 in Skippers Va. not to be missed! EVERY flavor of fresh peanut you would want. In shell or canned. Also Cashews, Pecans, Almonds, and Bourbon Praline Pecans!!! Great prices. Fun for the kids to take a picture in the peanut You'll be hooked and they will ship nuts to you.

I try to stop every time i visit my Granddaughters in Va. The Lady at the counter is always so sweet and so helpful. She even passes out samples. I try to get something new every time I go like the scorching hot barbecue sauce was great sea salted peanuts chocolate-covered pecans this time I got the Cherry butter OMG you can eat it straight out of the jar but when I got home we glazed baby back ribs with it and it was so good if you're in the area it's right off 95 you've got to stop.

We bought four, five pound bags of peanuts on 3 Jul 21 and opened them on 24 Jul 21. The problem is that all the bags have maggots and moths crawling inside. I understand getting one or two, but this is quite disappointing and disgusting. I am ready just to throw them out, sigh!

Summer '17: Such a neat little place! And they were open on a Sunday! Maybe it was just for the holiday weekend, but I was craving some peanuts and the few other places i passed on my drive were closed. The ladies were so nice and there is quite a variety of peanuts and extras to buy. And, most importantly, the peanuts are delicious! The packaging is really cute, too. That's just a bonus. Will definitely go back.Summer '19: Just went there again while road tripping and the peanuts were better than I remembered! Love this place!

Good, simple Virginia peanuts worth getting off the interstate for.Update 7/4/2021: I finished the grocery store peanuts in our pantry yesterday and got into the Good Earth unsalted peanuts we picked up on our most recent pass through the area. The difference is like night and day. Next time I'm in Skippers, I think I'm going to buy fewer peanuts for friends and more for me. Or just more.

Stopped here on a drive from FL to NY. I was amazed by the product selection when we walked in as the outside looks quite small!! Prices were very good compared to other stands I'd stopped at previously and the boiled peanuts were made just the way I like them.. As great as the store was, I was blown away by the customer service. Was given a great, easy to follow, boiled peanut recipe and the lady at the checkout counter made our stop one I still remember fondly months later. Don't miss stopping here!!

Not happy. In December my friend bought several bags of the salted peanuts in the shell and gave as Christmas gifts. Best peanuts I ever ate. I emailed the company a couple of times asking about shipping costs and how to store. I always got a quick response. I finally paid the crazy shipping price and ordered 10 lbs. I was so disappointed. The peanuts did not taste as fresh. They were cracked and many shells were empty. I emailed the company and this time I received no response. They lost my business.

What a fun little store! We wanted to get some Virginia peanuts and this is the place! We picked up three different kinds of peanuts and some Virginia ham too. They have all kinds of stuff and lots of samples. I finally tried boiled peanuts - they aren't for me - but it was nice to taste them. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful.
