The ice cream is always fresh and delicious but everytime I'm there, there's always a long line and only one person working. The one person working is always really on the move and always working quickly to satisfy everyone. Everytime I'm there, it seems like I have to wait 20+ minutes for ice cream. It would be nice to see some help on the employee side.

Went on a Tuesday evening - friendly and efficient staff. Tried the special flavor of the day, butter pecan soft serve in waffle cone (yummy 😋) and soft serve chocolate with chocolate jimmies.Walked a few doors down to historic building and train info site.

This is a wonderful little Pop-Up Ice Cream shop in downtown Shenandoah Virginia. They're open late during the summer, so you can run out as the day cools down. Karens has a wide selection of delicious ice cream, milkshakes, and sundaes. The banana milkshake is thick and creamy and has blended banana chunks in it, which was a delightful surprise! The banana split is large enough for two people to eat it is also a favorite treat.

This place is awesome! We go almost every Friday, 3 of us and spend $14 and none of us can finish our sundaes in one sitting. They have probably 30 different flavors and a variety of ways to get your ice cream too. The folks that work there are friendly and fast. You can sit at the picnic tables outside and even shop the store next door when they are open. Butterscotch is my favorite! They even have lactose free ice cream!

After driving an hour to get local ice cream the place was closed and it said in google that it was open. Next time please let people know that you are closed so we don’t waste our time.

As a Shenandoah native, this place has always been one of my favorites in the area. Good ice cream, and the people working there are nice. Definitely worth checking out.

My family and I made an unplanned stop while on vacation and I am very happy we did. The two clerks were very nice, as were the locals who all greeted us. Ice cream was fresh and tasty and they had very good options. I loved the peanut butter and chocolate flurry.

Cool little stop for ice cream. Lots of options for flavors /mix-ins & they even offered some type of frozen yogurt & sugar free. Definitely big on banana splits there, and I'd say a good majority of the people there when I was got some type of split. Worth checking out if you're nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

The lady asked what I what I wanted on my ice cream and I told her chocolate chips. Then she asked if I wanted vanilla ice cream. I said I wanted chocolate ice cream. She REPEATED that correct order back to me and they made my order. They were rushing with orders and mine came out really quick. And of course, I had vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips. I brought it to her attention and she was like "sorryyyyyyy" with such a mocking tone and didn't offer to correct her mistake. Ruined a whole family night. Not to mention the ice cream was sub-par in my opinion. They will not be getting my business again.

Delicious sundaes. Good sized. They participated in the WRE of Sundaes on Tuesday. I took our 2 grown daughters and grandaughters and took 2 home to the daughter's dad and the granddaughters granddad. We enjoyed our outing even with pouring rain.😊

Customer service is superb and they don't slack on the toppings. Everything I've tried is tasty, but I love the Oreo blizzard because they load it up! 😁
