Every Dollar General I go to is one of my more favorite places to shop. They have a little bit of everything, it's inexpensive, and their staff is generally polite and accommodating. They do lack in areas if you're wanting something very specific, but that comes with being able to have such a wide variety of different items.

Absolutely love this store. Never will I return to the one in west point since I been here. They are always helpful and beyond nice. Some of the newer staff don't know everything yet so cut them a little slack. They have the cleanest store and always stocked with everything. Best way to describe it is like a mini Wal-Mart but dollar General way. Love this place and glad they decided on opening up in shacklefords so close to everyone!

This store usually has disinfectant spray, wipes, and all other supplies you need to be safe during this pandemic. Store is neat and clean. This is my favorite local Dollar General store.

What a breath of fresh air to go into this Dollar General , very well organized and clean . The layout of the store is great , and spacious enough for carts to easily move through the uncluttered isles . Dealing with the employees was a welcoming experience .

It's a dollar general......what were you thinking. Clean store friendly staff. Great selection (again, it's a dollar general). Got gas right across the street at a (wait for it)............a Casey's...... seems like they go hand in hand 😀

The manager in the Shacklfords dg is very good at what she does, this store is always in perfect order. It takes alot of work to do this, and it shouldnt go unnoticed. Im a former employee and only continue shopping at dg because of the ppl that work for the company inside the stores.

Clean,neat and personnel friend. Why is the one in Waverly,Va. and In Disputanta are so unorganized, stock on carts out on floor and merchandise here and yandere? I guess the stick in carts are out on floor so customers can go through to find what they want because shelf is empty. The store in Waverly, Va. has empty shelves and at times I wander if store is closing. The store in Hopewell behind Cavillier Square is a huge MESS!How come the Family Dollar that's in Waverly can keep a neat, well stocked, and friendly personnel and DG which is very close to it is the complete opposite? The stores mentioned I shop at least 2 times a week.Get some consistency would be my overall message.Congrats to the DG between West Point and Shackelfords for one of the biggest , neatest,Organized and down to earth personnel who work there. It's obvious they take pride in their store!!!

Dollar General in Shackleford is one of the cleanest places and well organized stores I have been in. The employees are extremely nice and very helpful and I am very proud to have them in my neighborhood. 😀❤
