Love this kennel and doggy daycare! The owners are the kindest caring people I know. Darius and Jamie really love what they do! Our border collie Patrick has been going there for many years. He is always well loved, exercised, cared for and all his basic needs are met. We have a difficult time getting him to go home when we pick him up. Thanks you for being such a great place to board my dog.

We take our fur baby to Dobe Run at least 3 times a year! He gets so excited when we pull in and when we walk in they know him and his tail wags and he runs to the staff! I would recommend them to every pet owner!!!!

Love these guys. Our high strung cocker always runs right in. They seem to spend plenty of time with the dogs and our dog never seems to mind being left, even tho he is quite happy when he gets picked up.

The staff is amazing and my dogs love them. They no longer offer full grooming , but still do baths. Their daycare options are great if you don't need overnight.

The owners and staff at Dobe Run are awesome! They have always taken excellent care of our dogs and were extra helpful and flexible during a recent extended stay of a sick family member's dog. The facility is very clean with plenty of room for dogs to get outdoor exercise during their stay. I highly recommend Dobe Run Kennel and appreciate the excellent customer service provided by the owners and staff!

We couldn't have been happier with Dobe Run and their daycare services! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating for our dog Hank while were on vacation in Gloucester, VA. He must of had a great time too because on the second day he jumped out of the truck and dragged me inside... I'd say that's doggy language for "this place is great!" :) Thank you for taking such good care of him!!

Great facility for boarding, but do not get your dogs groomed here!!I have 2 dogs that I board there regularly and had them both groomed a couple of weeks ago. Worst haircuts ever. My Yorkie is only 3 lbs., so having his hair whacked off really looks horrible. I asked that his face be trimmed so it was "roundish", but it's almost shaved! I know it's only hair, but apparently the groomer doesn't know what they're doing.

Generally, my dogs are anxious creatures but they always leave Dobe Run happy! I love how many "layers" of fencing they have, the facility is clean and safe, and the staff is great with my pets. I definitely recommend trusting Dobe Run with your pets!

My dogs havent kenneled at Dobe Run yet. However, I feel that they will be comfortable and looked after well when they do stay over. I expect my 4 star rating to go to a 5 star rating after their stay.

Our dog stayed there one night and everyone and everything seemed great. Our dog goes back for a week's stay soon, we'll see how that goes. I'm hoping I will be "upgrading" my review to 5 stars after that. Very clean facility.

They are the only ones I trust my pitbull with when we leave town. They take wonderful care of him and love him as their own as he loves them as well. His energy bothers and intimidates some....but not those that know and love dogs. They are highly recommended by me!!

I would not recommend the grooming at this site. My westie was butchered last weekend. I asked for a short westie cut with a full face. I wanted the skirt short to keep it out of the wet snow and slush but the groomer cut her entire body hair to 1/4 inch-and it looked chopped not sheared-some places right against her skin. She looked like a chihuahua. The groomer had left before I arrived and I paid the bill and even left a tip...ugh! Then they brought my dog out and I was horrified. The receptionist?) said she was sorry that I was not happy. I didn't even go into it with her because she was not the one that should have answered to this. It took me a week to calm down and I will never take any of my animals to this place. I have heard the boarding is good but I don't know how the owner could keep someone so incompetent for thier grooming service so I will never use this place for anytihng and will not recommend it to anyone I know. If you do, ask to see your animal before you pay the bill!

Ellie likes this place. Second best with home being NUMBER 1...nice clean place. The only request Ellie would like to make is to keep the other dogs quiet, tough to sleep with the barking...lol!

They truly seem to be animal lovers. The lady spent more time playing with my dog, King, and giving belly rubs than she did getting him signed in. Great facility.
