Very friendly and helpful staff who helped out with my order due to my dietary restrictions. Very attentive keeping up with our drink refills and putting up with my smart mouth and my joking around. Would highly recommend for lunch and dinner and possibly breakfast if they serve it. Will return. We were on the way home from Pigeon Forge TN. Decided to take a side trip to Saltville, my home town, to eat at Coach's Diner. Had not been there since it opened. The Diner is small, has been repainted and seating and tables have been up graded. The diner is super clean. Our food was good. I had a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and slaw. My wife had a club sandwich with fries. And, for dessert we split a fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. Prices were reasonable. The young fellow who was our server is the son of the owners. We chatted with him briefly and it was obvious he is proud of what they have done with the diner, as he should be. We will stop there again the next time we visit Saltville or are in the vicinity. Good job folks and much success to you.
