I was on an all Day motorcycle ride stopped in for a chilly burger. What a great place! An old fashioned drive inn just the way it used to be. The chilly was loaded with sweet Caramelized onions it was to die for!

Buck's has always been a go to place. Everything was just as I remembered. Great burgers, onion rings, chili buns, milkshakes and of course, the custard! One word describes it all: YUM!!! The service was wonderful, as usual. So good, in fact, we ate there 2x. 😀

Bucks is a drive- in restaurant in saltville va that is a favorite to all that stops by. With a great and tasty menu and a short wait time, I highly recommend this place. Either order at the window or call ahead. My favorite from bucks is the hand scooped milk shakes.Parking: .parking isn't a problem.

Great food, especially for their low prices. Their homemade hotdog chili is fantastic and is definitely in my top 3 favorites, possibly #1. Milkshakes and soft serve are a huge added bonus, and although I've never liked vanilla sodas, my Mom says that nothing else compared to their vanilla Pepsi. We've eaten here my entire life, and I feel like everything tastes exactly the same as it did 30+ years ago! The folks that own/work there are always friendly and even when the place is packed, there isn't a very long wait for your food.

Buck's Drive-In is a great place to get a quick, delicious meal that's always served with a smile. I've been visiting this establishment for many years, and I have never had a negative experience. There are not many restraunts like this remaining, so a visit to Buck's will not only satisfy your appetite, but it will take you back to a day when life was much simpler. I highly recommend it as part of the family outing! I guarantee you won't regret it!

Haven't tried everything on the menu. However, i have to say the burgers and ice cream was AMAZING!! I will definitely eat there again and the whole family was impressed with their orders and friendly service. Would also recommend to anyone. Thanks

We had dinner at Buck's Drive-in after hiking in Channels State Forest. We had our dog with us, so needed somewhere we could bring him so a drive-in seemed like a good spot. The food was surprisingly good and very inexpensive. I had a cheese-steak, my wife had a double cheeseburger and our dog Alex had his own hot dog. Everything was great, though I think Alex may have enjoyed his hot dog the most! With sides and drinks, it was only around $14 (they don't take credit cards though). Although there's no where to eat inside, they picnic tables so we didn't have to eat in the car. Overall, this is a great little spot and I'd definitely eat here again if in the area. Cheaper than chain fast food places and a lot better food.

Just okay. Watered down fountain sodas, ice cream wasn’t very creamy, and no bathroom. Food was fairly quick and hot but basic.

It had been a while since we had eaten there. They where really good years ago, but the cheese burgers were awful made from frozen burger patties. Fries and tater tots under cooked and vanilla coke tasted like they used pancake syrup.

The foods not terrible but it's nowhere near what it once was. I've never had a steak sub without the meat being chopped up, and they were out of ingredients

The best slaw dogs. Local family-owned and run treasure that has been around for years. My only complaint is that their schedule is kind of hit or miss, especially if you're from out of town. There is a Facebook page so maybe check that.

#treatyourself Buck's Drive-In has been part of my life for a very long time I have always loved the food at Buck's Drive-In. Make sure to try one of their milkshakes while you are there. Maybe you can make Buck's Drive-In a new family tradition every week. If you're passing through and need something to eat why not stop by and get you a good hot dog or cheeseburger trust me it's worth the stop.

Haven't been to Saltville in a long time. Was looking forward to eating here, nothing like it used to be. Small burgers, wilted lettuce, gave me tots instead of onion rings. The Coca Cola did hit the spot though.

Like revisiting the past. I, like many from this area,have been here countless times. This is real food; paper wrappers, toothpicks holding them closed, hotdogs, burgers, and yes, fries or tots as well as other favorites. You don't drive up and talk to a box no, you drive up, get out of your car and walk to the window and tell a live person what you would like and wait, not long, but it it is worth it.

Nice old drive-in type restaurant in Saltville that is family ran. Has been in the town for years, and anyone who has eaten there will tell you that the food is great! They have many return customers, and people who are originally from Saltville who are back for a visit will go out of their way to return to Buck's for a meal!
