Our Whitt Carpet team made our kitchen floor installation a remarkable experience. Salesperson Sarah helped me choose the perfect floor samples to consider and try out in my home. “LA” scheduled the work in a timely manner that fit our needs. Our installer, Jeff, was professional and courteous, answering my questions as he worked. Some services included in my contract proved unnecessary and LA contacted me within two days to inform me of a refund. I would definitely shop here again!

We had a great experience choosing Whitt Carpet to help with our staircase runner and hallway runners. Working with Bob in the showroom helped greatly as he picked out the "perfect" carpet pattern that made our selection quick and easy. Jay the installer is a great tradesman that you can tell has the knowledge and professionalism to make the installed carpet look even better than imagined. This stairway runner was the missing piece on our home renovation, and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the carpet, showroom assistance with Bob, and the hard work and pleasantness of Jay when he was in our home doing the installation.It pays off in the long run to go with a quality carpet store like Whitt Carpet other than going with a carpet store you here advertising free padding or free installation, just to get you in the door. You will be 100% pleased with your decision using Whitt Carpet the same as my wife and I!!

Sarah the salesperson was good is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. She made me feel I would be in good hands with Whitt after a horrible experience with my floors. However it was not a great experience: the installation was slow and not that good. I have glued engineered wood that had to be removed. A large machine was used to remove old flooring and caused damage to new kitchen cabinets, door frames etc. of which were not repaired or replaced. Behind my oven and fridge was left with big gaps and no finish trim. The slider doors and front of fireplace had to have a molding put on where the floor and frames meet to cover the gaps and it does not look good. I did not have this with the wood floors before, the wood was cut clean and installed correctly so there was not a gap. The floors had a lot of popping and movement when stepped on. the answer was to drill small hole where they popped to inject glue, so I’m left with holes in new wood floors. Some of the wood has splits and we keep have large splinter of wood. Patio blind was messed up (that was adjusted for) but I am left with damaged door frames, kitchen cabinets with gauges, holes and splintering floors. The project manager unfortunately had personal issues and was not at the site to over see installation as I was promised and no else took over. I spoke with manager and she noted issues. Stated that if floors continue to split they would need to determine cause and replace. This would be my third time having my home torn apart. That is a stress I do not want to go through again. I trusted Whitt to do this correctly and keep their word to pay attention to detail. I would not recommend Whitt Flooring.

Replaced all carpets after 23 years of 4 kids and multiple pets. Experience was A+ from selection to installation (which was on time and well-communicated). I've read that they may be a little more expensive than elsewhere but well worth it, in my opinion. Special shout out to Bob Garby who guided me through the entire process.

We are a small business located just down the road from this company, We reached out to them for help in just giving us a quote to help us with an insurance claim after out business had been demolished after a car ran through it.Because they would not directly benefit from it, "Since we will not actually be doing the work", they were unwilling to help us out and give us a quote.We will absolute not be working with this company in the future that has such selfish values.

Whitt Carpet One did an excellent job on my bathroom floor! Bob came out promptly to measure and give me an estimate. He bro't samples, based on what I said I tho't I wanted, but when I decided those didn't work, he suggested others I could look at on their website, and let me take a large sample home so I could look at it on my floor. L.A. called to make sure the window for installation would be acceptable, and Jay and his helper did a fantastic job!

Ordered carpet for a small room addition to my basement. I was in hopes of matching my previous ordered carpet from a few years ago. I was pleased to find out this would indeed be possible. After measurements were taken the carpet was ordered but due to delays it was looking as if my project would not be complete within my desired timeline before a very busy timeframe of travel for my family which in turn would make scheduling the install between trips difficult. I explained my situation that when ordering I had originally been told install would meet my deadline. I’m so thankful to the staff for taking the extra time and effort to expedite my order and overjoyed it was finished within my original timeline. Although I did end up having some minor paint touch ups needed to my new walls from damage done during the install it was truly nothing to complain about after the time and effort made to make sure the install met my timeline. (Only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 stars)The Customer service was exceptional! Had the review been based solely on the customer service it would have been a 5 star review.

Bob was extremely helpful in my selection process of carpet and LVP for the home I planned on selling. The installers however didn't allow themselves enough time for the project and had to return to finish properly. Overall Whitt is very good and I would certainly recommend them.

Installation is second to none. I have never experienced the expertise and attention to detail I received from Whitt Carpet One. Instead of 5 stars, they deserve 100 stars. We have been customers of Whitt Carpet One for many years and they have replaced all our flooring at one time or another. Most recently they replaced carpeting in 3 bedrooms with laminate flooring. As we’ve always experienced, we are extremely pleased. Bob is always extremely helpful, and patient, as we work through the details of a project. Eddie and Austin were awesome! They diligently worked for 3 days, removing carpeting, preparing the floors, moving furniture, and installing the new floors. They were efficient, pleasant to work with and did a great job cleaning up debris as they went along. We can’t say enough good things about Whitt Carpet One and their staff! Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience with our new wood flooring this time. Many mistakes were made, big and small and things are still not all resolved yet. We used Whitt before and everything went fine with our kitchen flooring and that is why we chose them this time too, but with a very different outcome. The installer that put down our kitchen floor was also supposed to do our wood floors. However, they sent someone else and we believe the outcome would have been a positive one if they had sent the original installer.

I have used Whitt for years I recently got new carpeting and the carpet and install were great. The sales person with whom I dealt ... not so great. However, I had kept a remnant and asked Whitt to have it bound for me. Bob is the best and so is LA ... their customer service is fabulous and I am so sorry I did not have Bob when I made my larger purchase!

Bob Garby, the flooring specialist, was knowledgeable and assisted us in choosing the proper product to fit our budget. The installers did a good job and I am pleased with having carpet tiles in my finished basement. My reason for giving 3 stars is that it took 16 days, after Bob Garby came to my house to take the measurements, for me to receive the quote from him. That was unacceptable. He originally told me that it would take a week; Lowe's and Home Depot have a turnaround time of two days for their quotes.

I was in the process of a bathroom remodel when I realized that I had not purchased enough floor tile from a big box store. Unfortunately, they no longer had what I needed in stock. I stopped by Whitt and found a much better quality floor tile for less than what I had paid at the big box store. The customer service was excellent.I will no longer purchase this type of product from anyone but Whitt. There are so many benefits to purchasing from a local business.

We have used Whitt Carpet for many years. Our recent experience with the installation of carpet was not to the standard that I expect from this business. Installers were no-shows for two days. During this time of Coronavirus, I did not appreciate that one of the installers was not vaccinated and did not wear a mask. Their customer service was sorely lacking and this will be our last purchase from this store.
